Purpose: This study demonstrated a postural alignment exercise as conservative management strategy for a woman with excessive thoracic kyphosis presenting decreased chest function, and reports its results. Methods: A 21-year-old woman with thoracic kyphosis presenting limited chest function. The exercise program underwent for 30 min in the intervention phase, which consisted of exercises to improve the strength of back extensor and to stretch anterior chest region. Outcome measures comprised the severity of thoracic kyphosis and chest function (vital capacity [VC], forced expiratory volume in a second [FEV1], and chest expansion length). Results: The thoracic kyphotic angle decreased by 23.6% ($9.38^{\circ}$) and 25.4% ($10.58^{\circ}$) in the intervention and follow-up phases respectively. Also, chest function was improved in the intervention (VC: 3.7% [$0.10{\ell}$], FEV1: 17.1% [$0.39{\ell}$], and chest expansion length: 17.1% [0.96 cm]), and the improvement was maintained during the follow-up phase (VC: 4.8% [$0.13{\ell}$], FEV1: 17.1% [$0.39{\ell}$], and chest expansion length: 64.3% [1.81 cm]). Conclusion: These findings suggest that the postural alignment exercise was favorable for improving chest function of a woman with thoracic kyphosis.

Peroneal neuropathy presenting at birth is a rare disorder. Although neonatal mononeuropathies may be related to obstetrical complications, prenatal mechanisms should be also considered. We describe an infant who was born at term by cesarean section due to breech presentation with a unilateral footdrop. Lack of compound muscle action potential in the peroneal nerve and denervation potentials confined to the tibialis anterior and the extensor hallucis longus muscles in the electrophysiological studies on the fourth day of life strongly suggest an isolated peroneal neuropathy of intrauterine onset. Early and sequential electrodiagnostic studies will be important to provide better temporal and pathophysiologic definitions, the better timing of onset and prognosis for mononeuropathies presenting in newborn infants.

Acute diarrhea is one of the most common diseases that are seen in pediatric patients. In the management of acute diarrhea, several differential diagnostic criteria should be considered based on clinical and/or laboratory findings. These criteria include : (1) normal variant stool versus diarrhea (2) infectious versus non-infectious condition and (3) bacterial versus non-bacterial etiology. The use of antibiotics should be considered to manage diarrhea caused by bacteria accompanying fever and bloody diarrhea in the following cases : (1) patients with serious clinical course, (2) under three months, (3) immunocompromised patients, (4) patients with nutritional deficiency and (5) patients presenting with moderate-to-severe dehydration. In patients presenting with the symptoms suspected to be bacterial origin, whose clinical course is not serious, antibiotic therapy is not necessary. These patients are easily manageable at OPD level. Moreover, except for some cases in which the use of antibiotics is inevitable, pediatric diarrhea can be managed by providing the suitable foods alone with no necessity of other specific drugs. Accordingly, it is crucial not so much to depend on the drugs as to provide appropriate foods including oral rehydration solution(ORS) with no further episodes of diarrhea. Special attention should be paid to the fact that younger pediatric patients will undergo nutritional deficiency unless acute diarrhea is properly managed.

In recent years, technology developments in different countries, especially in newly industrialized countries, are extremely indebted to appropriate technology transfer by these countries. Nevertheless the technology transfer process in the present situation is complex, and its success is related to the coordination rate with the political, economic, social, and environmental objectives of countries. Today debates related to the transfer of the technical know how accompanied by equipment hardware has found remarkable importance such that countries seek increasing comprehensive capabilities in the field of transferred technology for which Preventive Maintenance (PM) is one of the aspects. This research with the purpose to determine the technological capability level and to study the role of PM in the effective & appropriate technology transfer in subway industry is carried out for presenting a suitable model for the technology transfer in this industry with an attitude towards the effects of principal PM factors. For this purpose, after the study of different and relevant models existing in the field of suitable methods for technology transfer, some equipment PM theories and models were selected as the base for the compilation of the questionnaire. With the help of questionnaire, main PM factors that are effective in the field of technology transfer were extracted, and finally, their effects on technology transfer were analyzed, identified and a comprehensive model suggested in this connection.

Cervicomedullary junction arteriovenous malformation(AVM) is extremely rare. The authors present a case of a cervicomedullary junction AVM in a 31-year-old woman presenting with recurrent intraventricular hemorrhage (IVH). Magnetic resonance imaging revealed the AVM(of a size of approximately $2{\times}2.5{\times}4cm$) extending from a lower medulla to C2-3 level. Vertebral angiography demonstrated a tightly coiled vascular mass with multiple feeders (radiculomedullary arteries) and irregular-shaped aneurysm at distal part of feeder originating at right C-1 level. The patient underwent superselective embolization of upper nidus and the aneurysm. The pertinent literature is reviewed, and diagnostic and therapeutic implications are discussed.

Hypermedia documents include structural information for their documents There have been researches on storing and searching hypermedia documents using the structural information of the documents. For the purpose of presenting hypermedia documents, however, only a few models have been proposed. In this paper, we propose a new object-oriented model based on the structural information of HyTime documents for storing and also presenting efficiently the documents. For this modeling, we consider an application of HyTime, a system for a news-on-demand service that provides news customized by user requests. Our modeling can be applied to several Hypermedia application areas, like as customized web-based instructions and digital libraries as well as news-on-demand services.

Eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorder (EGID) is a rare disease in children that affects the bowel wall, with eosinophilic infiltration in the absence of any other causes for eosinophilia. The etiology remains unknown, but allergies and immunological imbalance are suspected triggers. We encountered a case of serosal EGID presenting as intractable vomiting and ascites in a 9-year-old girl, after influenza virus infection. Peripheral eosinophilia was not present. The diagnosis was confirmed by biopsy of the bowel wall through laparotomy and endoscopy, and controlled by 2 courses of steroid therapy due to recurring symptoms. Influenza virus infection was assumed to play a role in the onset of EGID through a Th2 response that stimulated eosinophilic infiltration in the GI tract. We therefore report this case along with a literature review.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the role and function of tokens to form a healthy blockchain-based ecosystem. Tokens must be constructed in a way that enhances their desired behavior to grow into a healthy token economy. The actions required of ecosystem participants in designing tokens should enable each individual to receive appropriate incentives (rewards) and encourage voluntary participation in taking this action. Also, all ecosystem participants must design to make the token ecosystem self-sustainable by generating profits. For example, in Bitcoin's proof-of-work method, mining is designed as a desirable behavior. Token-based services should be designed to induce multiple engagements, to design penalties for undesirable behavior, and to take into account evolutionary development potentials. Besides, the economic value of the entire token ecosystem will increase if the value that is designed and designed to take into account the revolutionary Innovation Possibility is greater than the reward amount paid to tokens. This study will contribute to presenting relevant service model by presenting how to design tokens and criteria when establishing blockchain-based service model. Future research is needed to discover new facts through a detailed comparative analysis between Tokennomics models.

In this paper, we propose the use of stochastic finite element method, that is popularly employed in mechanical structure analysis, for more practical designing purpose of RF device. The proposed method is formulated based on the vector finite element method cooperated by pertubation analysis. The method utilizes sensitivity analysis algorithm with covariance matrix of the random variables that represent for uncertain physical quantities such as length or various electrical constants to compute the probabilities of the measure of performance of the structure. For this computation one need to know the variance and covariance of the random variables that might be determined by practical experiences. The presenting algorithm has been verified by analyzing several device with different be determined by practical experiences. For the convenience of formulation, two dimensional analysis has been performed to apply it into waveguide with dielectric slab. In the problem the dielectric constant of the dielectric slab is considered as random variable. Another example is matched waveguide and cavity problem. In the problem, the dimension of them are assumed to be as random variables and the expectations and variances of quality factor have been computed.

The purpose of this study was to find some suggestions for reorganization of contents about particle concept of matter in Korean science curriculum. For the purpose of this study, authors analyzed features of Korean science curriculum and compared science curricula of Korea, USA, UK, Japan and Finland. From the result of this study, authors find some features and important suggestions about reorganization of contents about particle in science curriculum. First, the sequence of contents about particle concepts in 2009 Revised National Curriculum was similar to that in the 6th National Science Curriculum. And the feature of 2009 Revised National Curriculum showed the articulation of contents about particle concept. If contents about particle concept is increased in elementary science curriculum, the total articulation would be increased. Second, the presenting sequence of atomic structure-first and laws about atom-later should be changed to laws about atomic-first and atomic structure-later. This presenting sequence is grounded by science curricula of other countries, history of science and developmental psychology. And science curriculum of Korea was required specific extended concept statement like science curricula of USA or UK. Also, Korean science curriculum could benchmark Finnish science curriculum if we want to develop some integrated learning activities such as those in STS or STEAM program.
