  • The sheet metal forming process is one of the most important manufacturing processes in the modern industry. From the view point of mechanics involved, it is very difficult to predict whether a newly designed sheet metal part can be formed without defects such as fracture, wrinkling and surface unevenness, etc. In order to reduce the effort taken in the trial-and-error process and to control the process effectively, a systematic method for process modeling is to required. The aim of sheet forming simulation through the process modeling is to reduce the lead time for die disign and manufacture by process modeling is to reduce the lead time for die design and manufacture by means of investigating the deformation mechanics and the mutual interaction between the process parameters. In this paper, the necessity, the present status, and the future technology about CAE of sheet forming simulation have been discussed.

서울시 거주자의 부엌기기의 보유현황 및 수요예측 (The Present Possession and the Future Need of Kitchen Appliances in Seoul Residents)

  • The objectives of this study are to classify kitchen appliances, to identify the possession of present kitchen appliances, and to predict the future need for appliances of Seoul residents. Data were collected through self-administered questionnaires for this study and the sample consisted of 540 households. The results of this study were as follows : The kitchen appliances were classified into the six catagories as major appliances, portable electric appliances, knives small kitchen utensils, cooking utensils, and cookers. There were significant differences in the present possession of kitchen appliances among socioeconomic classes, family life span, housing size, and housing types. And the respondents wanted to possess dish washers, garbage disposals, green grinders, herb electric pots, yogury makers in the future.

중학교 교장의 중등단계 직업교육 기관에 대한 인식 변화 연구 (A Study on the Middle School Principals' Perception Changes of Secondary Vocational Education Institutions)

  • 본 연구는 중등단계 직업교육 기관에 대한 중학교 교장의 과거와 현재, 미래의 인식의 변화를 분석하여 중등단계 직업교육 기관의 인식 변화를 구명하고, 중등단계 직업교육 기관의 인식 개선을 위한 정책 지원에 대한 기초 자료를 제시하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 중학교 교장 214명을 대상으로 하여 중등단계 직업교육 기관에 대한 과거와 현재, 미래의 인식을 조사하여 분석하였다. 연구 결과 첫째, 중학교 교장이 인식한 중등단계 직업교육 기관에 대한 인식은 과거보다 현재가 더 긍정적으로 변화하였고, 현재보다 미래가 더 긍정적으로 변화할 것으로 나타났다. 이는 2005년 이후 다양한 중등단계 직업교육 정책이 직업교육의 인식 개선의 측면에서 긍정적 효과가 있음으로 해석할 수 있다. 둘째, 중학교 교장의 중등단계 직업교육 기관에 대한 과거 현재 미래의 인식의 내용에 대한 순위 변화를 분석한 결과, "적성과 소질을 일찍 살릴 수 있음"과 "졸업 후 학생의 경제적 자립이 빠름"과 관련된 내용에서 과거 현재 미래 모두 긍정적으로 인식하고 있었다. "동일계 대학 진학이 용이함"과 관련된 내용은 과거와 현재에서는 높은 순위로 인식하였으나, 미래에는 낮은 순위로 인식될 것으로 예상하고 있어 정부의 정책의 방향에 따른 중등단계 직업교육 기관에 대한 인식도 달라지고 있음을 확인하였다.

노인의 취업여부와 건강 상태에 따른 주거선호 (Residential Preferences by Occupation and Health Status for the Elderly)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the residential preferences, the type of house, the size of living space, and the region for later life and contributing factors to their housing plan. The sample in this study consisted of 572 aged couple living in Korea. Statistics employed for the analysis were frequencies, means, X2test, logit analysis and multiple regression. The results could be summarized as follows. They preferred 31.2 pyung as living space, the single detacted house(81.1%) and living in middle-small cities or rural area. The present living space, present living area, satisfaction of economic status had significant effects on the living space in later life. Those who had a plan to live in the single detached house were affected by husband's educational attaintment, the type of present house, present and future living region. And the factors affecting furture living region were present living region, household income, household expenditure, total asset and preferred housing type. The affecting factors were different from future residential preferences by occupation and health status.

영양교사의 현재와 미래지향적 직무에서 필수 업무와 추가 인력을 통해 수행 가능한 업무의 비교 (Comparison of Required and Additional Man Power's Implemental Task Elements between Present and Future-oriented Duties of School Nutrition Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare the task elements categorized into required and additional man power's implemental between present and future-oriented duties of school nutrition teachers. The survey consisted of five duties, 27 tasks, 93 task elements, and 270 work details in the task elements of school nutrition teachers. A pilot-test was first conducted on nutrition teachers to confirm the survey contents, and then a main survey was performed on 240 school nutrition teachers, using a self-administrated online method, from July 16 to September 5, 2016. To compare present and future-oriented tasks, frequency analyses were conducted. Work details in the task elements were categorized into 'required' and 'additional man power's implemental', depending on school nutrition teachers' responses, based on a 50% cut-off percentage. The results showed that 13 work details among 60 work details (21.7%) in the 'Duty C. Safety and hygiene management of school foodservice', and 15 work details out of 106 work details (14.2%) in 'Duty B. Foodservice management practices' were identified as additional man power's implemental in future oriented duties. As to 'Duty A. Nutrition management', only three work details among 55 work details (5.5%) were identified as additional man power's implemental. On the other hand, all work details in 'Duty D. Nutrition diet education and counseling and 'Duty E. Reinforce professionalism' were identified as "required" as school nutrition teachers' duties. These findings imply that school nutrition teachers perceive nutrition management and education as their primary duties to the fulfill school foodservice' mission of promoting students' health and fostering students' dietary behaviors. The study offers practical and governmental implications, which can encourage school nutrition teachers to perform their primary duties.

정신신체의학의 현재와 미래의 전망 (Psychosomatic Medicine : Present and Future Prospects)

  • The author discussed present problems and future prospects of psychosomatic medicine in clinical, educational, research, and social aspects. In general, psychosomatic field. particularly. consultation-liaison(C-L) psychiatry in Korea seems to remain on early developmental phase. However, positive change in the general publics' and societal view of psychiatry, specialization of medicine and development of medical technology, implementation of delivery system in medical care could contribute to development of this field. In future, clinically, liaison activity will be more activated. and this field will be developed as main subspecialty of psychiatry. In addition. C-L psychiatry will be subspecialized. and prevention and humanization of medical care could be more emphasized. In education. the main place of education for medical students and psychiatric residents will be changed from closed ward to general ward in which consultation-liaison activity can be performed. In research. consultation liaison model suitable for Koreans will be developed and studies on disease mechanism will be more promoted. In social aspects, this field could influence the general publics' view of psychiatry and change the whole areas of medicine and society toward integration. In order to achieve these goals, medical insurance system and cost relevant to C-L activity should be essentially improved.

Malignant Brain Tumours in Children : Present and Future Perspectives

  • In contrast to many of the malignant tumors that occur in the central nervous system in adults, the management, responses to therapy, and future perspectives of children with malignant lesions of the brain hold considerable promise. Within the past 5 years, remarkable progress has been made with our understanding of the basic biology of the molecular genetics of several pediatric malignant brain tumors including medulloblastoma, ependymoma, atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumour, and high grade glioma/diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma. The recent literature in pediatric neuro-oncology was reviewed, and a summary of the major findings are presented. Meaningful sub-classifications of these tumors have arisen, placing children into discrete categories of disease with requirements for targeted therapy. While the mainstay of therapy these past 30 years has been a combination of central nervous system irradiation and conventional chemotherapy, now with the advent of high resolution genetic mapping, targeted therapies have emerged, and less emphasis is being placed on craniospinal irradiation. In this article, the present and future perspective of pediatric brain malignancy are reviewed in detail. The progress that has been made offers significant hope for the future for patients with these tumours.

Seven Facets of Learning Agility in Higher Education for Future Society

  • Learning agility as high potentials is drawing attention as a competency for leading an uncertain future society. The present study aims to determine the factors of learning agility in higher education context for future society. To address this goal, Major factors related to learning agility were derived through literature review and statistically verified. For statistical analysis, the nationwide data were collected from 1,000 undergraduate students in South Korea by National Youth Policy Institute. The participants asked to answer 29 items of learning agility questionnaires (LAQ). The collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis. As a result, learning agility items were verified normality and reliability. Learning agility was identified seven factors; challenging mind, learning responsibility, reflecting experience, intellectual curiosity, systemic thinking, change adaptability, and logical thinking. Also, the structural model fit of the seven factors of learning agility was also confirmed to be good. Based on the findings of the present study, empirical, theoretical, and practical contributions were presented, and suggestions for further research were proposed in detail.
