The present work proposes an improved numerical simulator for design and modification of large area capacitively coupled plasma (CCP) processing chamber. CCP, as notoriously well-known, demands the tremendously huge computational cost for carrying out transient analyses in realistic multi-dimensional models, because electron dissociations take place in a much smaller time scale (${\Delta}t{\approx}10-8{\sim}10-10$) than time scale of those happened between neutrals (${\Delta}t{\approx}10-1{\sim}10-3$), due to the rf drive frequencies of external electric field. And also, for spatial discretization of electron flux (Je), exponential scheme such as Scharfetter-Gummel method needs to be used in order to alleviate the numerical stiffness and resolve exponential change of spatial distribution of electron temperature (Te) and electron number density (Ne) in the vicinity of electrodes. Due to such computational intractability, it is prohibited to simulate CCP deposition in a three-dimension within acceptable calculation runtimes (<24 h). Under the situation where process conditions require thickness non-uniformity below 5%, however, detailed flow features of reactive gases induced from three-dimensional geometric effects such as gas distribution through the perforated plates (showerhead) should be considered. Without considering plasma chemistry, we therefore simulated flow, temperature and species fields in three-dimensional geometry first, and then, based on that data, boundary conditions of two-dimensional plasma discharge model are set. In the particular case of SiH4-NH3-N2-He CCP discharge to produce deposition of SiNxHy thin film, a cylindrical showerhead electrode reactor was studied by numerical modeling of mass, momentum and energy transports for charged particles in an axi-symmetric geometry. By solving transport equations of electron and radicals simultaneously, we observed that the way how source gases are consumed in the non-isothermal flow field and such consequences on active species production were outlined as playing the leading parts in the processes. As an example of application of the model for the prediction of the deposited thickness uniformity in a 300 mm wafer plasma processing chamber, the results were compared with the experimentally measured deposition profiles along the radius of the wafer varying inter-electrode gap. The simulation results were in good agreement with experimental data.

This thesis suggests a new algorithm to detects multiple moving objects using a CMODE(Correct Multiple Object DEtection) method in the color images acquired in real-time and to track the interested pedestrian using motion and hue information. The multiple objects are detected, and then shaking trees or moving cars are removed using structural characteristics and shape information of the man , the interested pedestrian can be detected, The first similarity judgment for tracking an interested pedestrian is to use the distance between the previous interested pedestrian's centroid and the present pedestrian's centroid. For the area where the first similarity is detected, three feature points are calculated using k-mean algorithm, and the second similarity is judged and tracked using the average hue value for the $3{\times}3$ area of each feature point. The zooming of camera is adjusted to track an interested pedestrian at a long distance easily and the FOV(Field of View) of camera is adjusted in case the pedestrian is not situated in the fixed range of the screen. As a experiment results, comparing the suggested CMODE method with the labeling method, an average approach rate is one fourth of labeling method, and an average detecting time is faster three times than labeling method. Even in a complex background, such as the areas where trees are shaking or cars are moving, or the area of shadows, interested pedestrian detection is showed a high detection rate of average 96.5%. The tracking of an interested pedestrian is showed high tracking rate of average 95% using the information of situation and hue, and interested pedestrian can be tracked successively through a camera FOV and zooming adjustment.

In spite of economic slump of global IT market, China is showing growth of $25\%$ per a year. After opening economy, the economic growth of the country haven't flagged. Moreover, According to the economic plan of the President HuJinTao who took office in 2002, IT field has been developing quickly. Even though such development is enough to show off the ability of China in the world, it is also a fart that there are many side effects. Among them, the imbalance of development between the east and the west is disturbing the general Chinese development. So the government is making efforts to reduce the gap as a solution, 'Go West campaign.' While progressing the policy, the related method which restricted domestic demand market advance from 2000 is abolished. We also established a bridgehead for lauching to the west of China at the same line with other developed countries. Based ell such reality, we understands the general present state and policy of Chinese IT industrial and the opportunity for abolishing the related method which restricted domestic market advance to also obtain from 2000, and for our country to also advance to the western area in China by the start onboard equal to other advanced nations. The direction to which we have to go by investigating the situation of a western area is investigated.

Our country has become an aging society with unparalleled speed, compared to other advanced countries. Many of the elderly are physically, economically, and psychologically dependent; this dependence is a factor that increases the cost burden not only on the children and relatives of the elderly, but also at the social level. Under the prevailing environment of the family-oriented informal support system, the burden of support for elderly parents who rely on limited resources is highly likely to lead to abuse. Until now, dealing with the abuse of senior citizens has been mostly a one-off approach through media rather than academics. Therefore, this study attempts to take an objective approach to the elder abuse problem (which has so far been dealt with in the media as a form of domestic violence) in order to grasp the specificity and factors of elder abuse and to present the Korean situation with regard to elder abuse. In addition, this study seeks to find ways to prevent elder abuse in formal and informal ways.

The ECG is biomedical electrical signal occurring on the surface of the body due to the contraction and relaxation of the heart. This signal represents an extremely important measure for health monitoring, as it provides vital information about a patient's cardiac condition and general health. ECG signals are contaminated with high frequency noise such as power line interference, muscle artifact and low frequency nose such as motion artifact. But it is difficult to filter nose from ECG signal, and errors resulting from filtering can distort a ECG signal. The present study implemented a small-size and low-power ECG measurement system that can remove motion artifact for convenient health monitoring during daily life. The implemented ECG monitoring system consists of ECG amplifier, a low power microprocessor, bluetooth module and monitoring program. Amplifier was designed and implemented using low power instrumentation amplifier, and microprocessor was interfaced to the ECG amplifier to collect the data, process, store and feed to a transmitter. And bluetooth module used to wirelessly transmit and receive the vital sign data from the microprocessor to an PC at the receiving site. In order to evaluate the performance of the implemented system, we assessed motion artifact rejection performance in each situation with artificially set condition using adaptive filter.

Korean society has frequently seen the conflicts between environmentally oriented ideology and development ideology which generally take shape as regional problems. An interesting example is the case of Paldang water resource protection area in Yangpyung-kun, Kyunggi Province. At the area, the rural residents are trying to take regional development by utilizing as much as natural resource in the region, and the central government is trying to make clean water sustained for the public interest of the whole people living within the supplying area of the water resource. Accordingly, the conflict is inevitable. It is the role of environmental movement group that makes us pay attention to this region. Under the present situation regarding environmental protection as a core keyword, the environmental protection groups tend to stand on the side of the central government. That is, those groups let the government consolidate its dominance discourse, which help the resistance discourse of the residents weakened. This basic structure of relationship sometimes touches off the situations of antagonistic confrontation. It is the group for organic fanning movement on the region that is playing a significant mediating role between the two. It has eased severe confrontation, and has persuaded the residents, expecially the farmers, to accept so-called win-win strategies which are related with various kind of organic fanning. The agriculture can be regarded as a win-win action because it is a way of fanning adapted to the protected natural environment. It is taking firm hold in this region as an alternative which can satisfy the ideology of 'sustainable development' or 'sustainability'. It could give us a kind of paradoxical confusion that the strategies of regional development of pro-environment are being carried out in the region where the residents are fighting against the government's strict control of natural environment. The example of this region, however, could show a significant direction for solving the continuous problem of conflict between environmental protection and regional development.
Purpose: The purpose of study was to identify problems in disaster recovery resource management and operation through on-site investigation and utilize them as improvement proposal for disaster recovery resources management by local governments. Method: Areas with high natural and social disasters recorded in historical and yearly records of natural and social disasters, related books, and annual reports for 20 years were selected. The DRSS data of the selected local governments were analyzed and the reserve warehouse were selected for field survey. Result: It is analyzed that the current situation in the city hall and district offices is somewhat insufficient due to heavy work by the working-level officials of local governments on the storage of disaster recovery resources. The actual amount of stockpiles and DRSS data are somewhat different or missing because the input method and criteria are not clear at present when inputting the current data. Conclusion: To improve the management of the disaster recovery resource reserve, it is deemed that education of DRSS and training of best practices for the operation of disaster management resources are urgently needed, and that a systematic management of stockpiles using disaster prevention experts will be required.
Today, according to population decrease and aging of the old due to the decline of birthrate in our society in $21^{st}$ century, there is a stiff increase of the aged group. Complying with the request of epic needs, as there was a full scale amendment of law of the aged welfare in 1997, the centers appeared differently based on the regional dimension, the difference of the number of persons to be accommodated, and the social and economic characteristics. Coping with these problems occurring, along with the necessity of welfare facilities for the leisure of the aged, the government prepared and carried out a number of plans for the service of the aged and securing of facilities. This practice of the government, however, centered on the crease of service in quantity other than the quality, resulting in a situation of lacking the welfare facilities for the aged meeting the requirement of the aged in their aspect of consumer. On the contrary, building the welfare centers in Japan started in 1960 with a rapid increase of the number of centers in 1970s, and there were 2,214 welfare centers in operation in Japan in 1995, keeping a high level of service in quality and quantity. Thus, this study aims to present basic materials necessary for the criteria of space designing plans for the aged welfare centers in Korea through case analysis of the facility criterion, area constitution and space constitution by the floor that play an important role in regional welfare facilities for the aged in Japan.

The purpose of this study is to investigate present situation of recovery and treatment of waste home appliances, and to supply basic data for active reuse and recycling of waste home appliances. Among waste home appliances, refrigerator comprise 30.7%, television 37.8%, washing machine 22.9% and air conditioner 0.3%. Local government collected 46.2% of waste home appliances, producer and agent collected 49.7%, recycling center 4.1%. Seventeen percentage of waste home appliances are reused, 65% are recycled, and 18% are landfilled or incinerated. To improve the recycling activity of waste of home appliances, it is important to establish private reuse and recycling organization. It is also necessary to improve waste deposit and refund system for efficient recycling by decent financial support. Extension of a term of usage is another method to minimize waste home appliances. Finally, intensive education for consumer is necessary for waste minimization. Some portion of recycling and treatment cost can be allocated to the local government and large private business can shred and recycle waste home appliances.
The paper holds its purpose to analyze the descriptive function and meaning of first person animation which the focalizer, character, and all narrators are indicated as 'I', For the purpose, the following was reviewed; the relation between 'I' as child memorizing the days of childhood as adult and the current 'I' as adult, and the aesthetic effect of experience and sense of the child on the audience reading the narration. The retrospective narrating situation of the adult narrator brings descriptive effect which comes from 'the tension between the experiencing self (self as child) and the narrative self (self as adult). The works focus on the content of child experience through the confession of the adult narrator, but the view of the adult always heading towards 'the present'. That is, the aesthetics contained by the first person narrator is related to endless arousal of the values of hidden and forgotten things. In addition, the descriptive method of child focalizer as 'the subject of experience' brings qualitative change which enables reasoning of the subject as itself, which is free from the view tamed by rational system. Becoming an adult, the lost ability of mimesis brings qualitative change by meeting with the generality of childhood sense. Therefore, it can be known that the meaning the narrator contains in the first person narrator condition of animation links with the degree of aesthetic completion of the work, but also, it is a highly strategic descriptive device which determinately affects even the acceptance of audiences regarding the work.
