  • The program which could determine cross-sectional dimensions of the box girder bridge at tile stage of preliminary design was developed using the optimal technique in this study. It could minimize the cost and time required in the design of box girder bridges and the construction with the prestressed precast segmental method. Objective cost function consisted of four independent variables such as widths and depth of the cross-section. The Nelder-Mead method was used to solve the nonconstrained nonlinear problem like this.

공공청사 개산견적 정확도 향상을 위한 공사비 영향요인 분석 (Analysis of Impact Factors for the Improvement of Conceptual Cost Estimation Accuracy for Public Office Building)

  • 본 연구는 기획단계에서 이루어지는 개산견적 예측 모델의 정확도를 향상시키기 위하여 최적의 영향요인 조합을 제시하였다. 이에 기획단계에서 활용이 가능한 정량적인 영향요인을 선정하여 상관분석 통해 공사비에 가장 많은 영향을 주는 연면적을 중심으로 8가지의 영향요인 조합을 설정하였다. 8가지 영향요인 조합을 다중회귀분석을 통하여 VIF계수 및 회귀식을 도출하였다. VIF계수를 통해 연면적, 건축면적과 층 영향요인을 함께 사용할 경우 연면적과 건축면적 두 영향요인 간의 종속적인 관계를 확인하였다. 이에 독립성이 예측 모델 정확도의 관계를 분석하기 위하여 실 사례 프로젝트 10건을 회귀식에 대입하여 정확도를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 독립성이 확보가 안 된 영향요인 조합은 다른 영향요인에 비해 정확도 떨어지는 것을 확인할 수 있다. 따라서 최대한 많은 영향요인을 활용하는 것보다 최적의 영향요인 조합을 선정하는 것이 예측 모델의 정확도를 향상시킬 수 있다고 판단되며, 본 연구에서는 연면적과 건축면적을 활용하였을 경우 정확도가 가장 높은 것을 확인하였다.

  • The government encourages adoption of Rahmen structure design to ensure efficient management of national resources. However, in comparison with bearing-wall structure, Rahmen structure requires higher unit construction cost and present challenges in terms of securing adequate floor area ratio and floor height. That is why project clients have been disinterested in adoption of Rahmen structure design. Therefore, we have attempted to find factors having influence on decline of project viability for Rahmen structure. This study will be utilized as a basic reference study for promotion of Green Frame design which is a composite PC structure already developed.

  • As P-new-city is planned and constructed, district eating utilizing an existing near-by power plant's waste heat is considered as an economic and environment friendly way of providing heating to the new city. Many pipeline diameters and pumping station location and capacity were assumed, investigated and optimized, to satisfy the customers' heat demand considering common district heating pipe-network design and construction practice, and also and construction, pumping station land price and construction and the pumping energy cost during lifetime of DH systems.

  • This paper presents a preliminary experimental and computational study on the evaluation of thermal performance and initial cost of U, W and coil type ground heat exchangers (GHEs). Heat exchange rate of the individual GHE was evaluated from the thermal resperformance test (TPT) results, and the construction cost was also calculated. For more information, GLD (ground loop design) simulations of various piping size are carried out. From simulation results, the optimized GHE was suggested based on the thermal performance and construction cost as well. Besides, the required borehole length of U and W type GHEs was calculated considering a real construction condition using GLD program.

  • The top-down construction method is an excavation and substructure construction method by excavating earth and building slabs from the ground level to the bottom of a building. The top-down method can be categorized into several types by its process and other technical details. Some of commonly used top-down methods in Korea today are S.O.G., N.S.T.D., and S.P.S. Among these, one method is chosen depending on construction field conditions, cost, construction time and so on. This study explores several factors that may affect the selection of a top-down method. This paper reports preliminary survey results with 54 top-down construction experts and comparison results of 5 top-down construction sites.

  • The costs due to the maintenance and its method of national road have increased every year, and the maintenance costs have become higher due to the maintenance method without considering the characteristics of each region. This study is a preliminary study regarding the determination of maintenance method according to the characteristics of each region by applying variables (e.g. serviced time, traffic volume, average temperature, maximum temperature, minimum temperature, rainfall, and snowfall) to decide the maintenance and its method through the correlation analysis of road maintenance and repair period for each regional agency using the maintenance history data of national road management agency.

  • The purpose of this case study is to reduce the flaw and reconstruction occur at the level of construction by determining the propriety of estimate and error on a drawing and specification at working design level through case studies of BIM application at the level of design review. As a preliminary to apply BIM technology, it is needed to review the drawing, and then it is required to define BIM range by selecting the section in which construction error occurs frequently except for the type of part that is constructed repeatedly. At the execution level, the drawing is reviewed vertically, horizontally and spatially by proceeding structure and finish modeling on the defined BIM range, and also the propriety of estimate and error on the drawing and specification are examined. We aim to raise the completion rate, improve quality of construction, reduce the cost for construction and shorten period of construction by preparing for the error on the drawing and specification in advance through this review procedures.

Structural Work Duration Estimation and Analysis of Tower-Type Residential Construction Project

  • In order to shorten construction duration in high-rise project, construction company tried to make various system method toward simplifying construction method and shortening construction duration. Though high-rise tower-type residential project are growing, there are few case study. Then, the data for preliminary schedule planning in high-rise tower-type residential project are rare. This purpose of research shows construction method in structural work in high-rise tower-type residential project, suggests schedule planning in structural work through case studies. The structural work in high-rise tower-type residential project was divided 1) completion of form in lower part and 2) the typical floor under penthouse. The statistical analysis were done in two parts, the data from analysis were used in simulation. Finally, researcher confirmed the difference between real construction duration and the figure from simulation. The results shows that the more construction duration is long, the less ACS's cost is low. It means the effectiveness is increasing in ACS, if the floor number is high.

프로젝트 성공을 위한 효과적인 시공업무 및 영향 분석 - 아파트 설비공사를 중심으로 - (An Analysis of Construction Execution Tasks for Successful Residential Mechanical Projects)

  • 본 연구의 주목적은 공동주택 설비 시공 단계에서 수행되는 업무들을 파악하고 성과지표에 영향을 줄 수 있는 주요 시공업무를 분석하여 프로젝트의 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 있다. 국내 외 연구동향을 비롯한 선행연구와 예비 데이터 수집(pilot data), 시공업무 데이터베이스 구축을 통한 전문가 의견을 바탕으로 시공업무를 크게 5개의 주요업무로 구분하고 각각을 공정관리(P'1~P'6), 시공관리(C'1~C'5), 환경관리(E'1~E'4), 품질관리(Q'1~Q'5), 안전관리(S'1~S'5)으로 명명하였다. 그 후, 각각의 주요 업무를 세분화 시켜 총 24개의 세부 시공업무로 분류하였다. 원가 및 공기에 대한 영향을 분석하기 위해 independent t-test를 실시하였다. 프로젝트 목표 달성에 따른 중요도를 비교하여 유의도 0.05 이하에 대해 원가뿐만 아니라 공기의 성과지표에 공통적으로 영향을 미치는 구체적인 중요 공사의 시공업무를 파악하였다.
