The purpose of this study was to provide basic information for future residential flooring planning by identifying differences in preference for flooring materials of livingroom by characteristics of housewives living in apartment housing and by describing their perception of residential flooring materials and by analyzing their degree of satisfaction with the current flooring materials of livingroom. For this purpose, a survey was conducted by 281 housewives who lives in apartment, and analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, factor analysis, χ² test, t-test, one-way ANOVA and Duncan's Multiple Range test. The results of the study were obtained as follows: 1) The most preferred flooring materials was wood in the livingroom. Also, most of the reasons for preferred this flooring materials were good for health and good texture. 2) As a result of typifying housewives' perceptions of residential flooring materials, it was classified into fashoin-pursuit type, personality-expression type, beauty-pursuit type, health-pursuit type and practicality-pursuit type. 3) In the degree of satisfaction with the current flooring materials of livingroom, wood showed the highest level of satisfaction. 4) Differences in the degree of satisfaction with the current flooring materials of livingroom by personal characteristics of residents were analyzed. As results, it was found that the group who were later stage of family life cycle and experienced in replacing the flooring materials showed higher degree of satisfaction with the current flooring materials of livingroom.
Patients' satisfaction while receiving medical service is affected by whether or not their preferences can be met, including time and physician preference. Due to scarcity of medical resource in China, efficient use of available resources is urgently required. To guarantee the utilization ratio, the scheduling decisions are made after all booking information is received. Two integer models with different objectives are formulated separately, maximizing the degree of satisfaction and revenue. The optimal value of the two models can be considered as the bound of corresponding objectives. However, it is improper to implement any of the extreme policies. Because revenue is a key element to keep the hospital running and satisfaction degree is related to the hospital's reputation, neither the revenue nor the satisfaction can be missed. Therefore, hospitals should make a balance. An integrated model is developed to find out the tradeoff between the two objectives. The whole degree of mismatching that is related to patient satisfaction and other separate mismatching degree are considered. Through a computational study, it is concluded that based on the proposed model hospitals can make their decisions according to service requirement.
Indonesian women have emerged as global consumers, and various studies are needed to expand the global fashion market targeting their needs. In this study, a survey was conducted to determine the fashion design preferences of Indonesian Muslim women according to demographic characteristics and religious variables. In this study, Indonesian women aged from their teens to their 40s were surveyed by questionnaire during June 2020. This yielded 301 survey responses, which were analyzed using χ2-test, t-test, ANOVA, and Duncan's multiple range test using SPSS23. The results of the study are as follows: Analysis of the demographic characteristics of Indonesian Muslim women and the degree of acceptance of fashion trends according to religious variables showed significant differences according to age, monthly income, and the extent to which they wore a hijab. Analysis of the demographic characteristics of the women and the degree of acceptance of the fitted garment according to religious variables showed significant differences depending on their age, whether they were married, their monthly income, religious faithfulness, the extent to which they wore a hijab, and the degree of acceptance of Islamic discipline. After examining the difference in Muslim women's preferred fashion images (according to demographic characteristics and religious variables), significant differences were identified according to their age, income, extent to which they wore a hijab, and the degree of Islamic discipline with regard to clothing.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the change of perception and to measure the degree of interaction between the lighting and the finishing materials according to preference types and the impacted factors to the spatial sensitivity of users. To do that, the this change was grasped through the experiment with Likert Scale and ANOVA of SPSS program to the simulated images. The result of this study is as following. Firstly, the personal difference in the perception of space comes from 'attention' in information processing process. The degree of the perception of users change strongly by lighting in the space expressed the 'modern natural'. Secondly, the atmosphere and the degree of perception are different in the preference of users to the spatial sensitivity and in impacted factors which are thought by users in the space sensitives. The users who prefer the 'decoration' feel the mood more strongly in the space. But the users who prefer the 'active' and 'intimacy' are opposite to that. The difference to the degree of perception is greater in the 'classic natural' than the others under the lighting turns on. Thirdly, an in-depth research which is considered of the interaction among the various factors is needed for finding the design methods for inducing the sensitivity of users in the space. And the ranking of the impacted factors should be understanded and applied to the research regarding the changes of perception in the space. Finally, this study has the limitation to be adapted to all of the situation for the space design methods. But this will be a basic data to study the design methods for users's sensitivity in the space.
The Traditional Look, a class of fashion, represents image based on British aristocratic authenticity and cultural heritage as unchangeable and lasting classic fashion style. And recently, it keeps up with the trend of modern and young consumers' desire by putting various images. The purpose of the study is to investigate the concept, image and present market condition and to analyze degree of consumers' brand awareness of Traditional brand in pursuit of developing new market and ensuring power between competitive brands. From above work, surveyed on degree of brand awareness and interest, preference, associable image and purchase factors coming from consumers. 606 data were analyzed with SPSS package. Frequency, Factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, Multiple response, and correlation were applied. The results of this study were as follows. 1. Traditional brand has a high degree at consumers' brand awareness but comparatively lower at interest in it. In band name, while the Burberry has the highest brand awareness, the Polo and the Hunt take first and second position in a purchasing rate. Brand preference has tendency to be concentrated on certain brands showing the outstanding highest degree like the Polo in the 20s, and the Burberry in the 50s in aspect of age structure. 2. In associable image of Traditional brand, it is associate with noble image as dignified, classical and intellectual with itself strongly among practical, individuality, confidential and noble image. 3. As the purchase factors of traditional brand products, it depends on mainly the reliability and esthetic factors like design and quality rather than ostentatious and practical factors. 4. Associable image except individuality image is correlated with the purchase factors of traditional brand.
This study was conducted to survey and analyze the preference, and acceptance of smart clothing to the consumers with different age. A questionnaire with the objects of 530 consumers from the teens to the forties, in order to utilize the characteristics of consumers as basic materials for the planning of smart clothing, which is reasonably designed to have both of function and fashion, by checking the characteristics of consumers. The results are as follows; 1. The interest degree of fashion was the highest in the 20's and the acceptance degree showed the medial frequency in all age groups. In terms of the analysis result regarding general persons and professionals, professionals showed higher frequency distribution in both interest degree and acceptance degree than general persons. 2. When a comparison for each age, general person, and professional was made, more than the majority of all could not recognize the terms and concept about the smart clothing, but in terms of the favorable impression, more than the majority answered that it interests them. 3. More than the majority of the objects of this survey responded that they have a purchase intention and in terms of the desired purchase price, the price below 500,000 won showed the most frequency. In terms of the reason of wearing the smart clothing, they responded that they can select needed functions, and in terms of an occurring problem, they answered that it is the high cost of economic burdens.

This study was to identify the dimensions of consumers' attitudes toward imported casual brands. Another objectives were to examine consumers' attitude according to the preference group, and to ascertain the imported casual brand images. The 55 Likert type questions were selected through the results of self-questionnaire analyses. 520 females aged between 20 to 29 in Pusan responded to the second questionnaire of consumers' attitudes and brand images toward imported casual brands. The results were as follows: 1. For final factor analysis, 56 selected from 85 questions were subjected to the principal component analyses with orthogonal rotation after extraction of 5 major factors. 2. Five dimensions are brand's uniqueness and good quality, high prestige, incongruity with native emotion and ethnocentrism, conspicuous consumption, and reasonable purchasing advantages. These factors explained 45.0% of total variance. 3. Five dimensions were different according to the degree of preference. For preference group, they purchased the imported casual brands by uniqueness, good quality and reasonable purchasing advantages. For non-preference group, they disliked the imported brands by incongruity with native emotion, ethnocentrism, and conspicuous consumption. 4. Preference group had 5.47, whereas non-preference group had 1.76 pieces of imported casual brands for this 2 years. This result suggests that to develop the domestic brands with international uniqueness, good quality, and high prestige, and to improve according to preference group are necessary.
This study did an empirical analysis using consumer survey data to determine whether Taiwanese consumers' preference for the Korean Wave affects their preference for Korean dried persimmons. There were 158 effective respondents used for the analysis, and the effects of the Korean Wave was estimated using ordered logit regression. The main results of this study were as follows. First, females more preferred Korean dried persimmons compared to men. Second, it was found that the housewife variable had a statistically significant positive effect at a significance level of 1% indicating that the degree of preference for Korean dried persimmons was higher compared to other occupations. Third, when the main place for purchasing dried persimmons was a department store or a large discount store, the analysis result showed a positive effect at a significance level of 1%. Finally, the Korean wave effect was found to have a statistically significant positive influence at a 1% significance level. In particular, it is worth noting that as the Taiwanese consumers' preference for the Korean Wave increased, the preference for Korean dried persimmons increased, which could be useful information for companies wishing to export Korean dried persimmon products to Taiwan. As a promotional plan for revitalizing Korean dried persimmons in Taiwan, conducting promotional events in conjunction with the Korean Wave, such as K-pop contests, and promoting persimmons that reflect Korean traditional culture should be considered.

This study examined the causal relationship between the Chinese preference for Korean cultural products (Korean talent, K-pop songs, TV dramas, and movies), for Korean fashion products, and their purchase intentions. The relationship between the Korea's national brand image and Chinese fashion leadership with the three variables was investigated. Data was collected from 580 Chinese in Dalian, China. The data was analyzed using frequency, correlations, reliability, and AMOS for path analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the preference for Korean talent, K-pop songs, TV dramas, movies, and fashion products showed that the Chinese had a positive response and the degree of preference for each item was similar. Second, the Chinese preference for Korean talent, movies, and TV dramas significantly influenced the preference for Korean fashion products. In addition, the Chinese preference for Korean fashion products significantly influenced the purchase intentions of Korean fashion products. Third, the Chinese preference for Korean talent and fashion products had a significant relationship with their fashion leadership. In addition, the preference for Korean talent, movies, TV dramas, K-pop songs, fashion products, and purchase intentions had the same positive relationship with Korea's national brand images. This study examined from a structural aspect how the preference of Korean intangible cultural products affected the purchase intention of Korean fashion products. This study explored that the preference for Korean cultural products transcended the popularity of the Korean popular culture with a subsequent national industrial and economic ripple effect that improved the national brand image.

The purpose of this study was to examine the differences by gender in influence recognition, usage, convenience and preference on purchase intention for traditional Korean rice cake. For this study, the effect of the gender-based consumption patterns-degree of recognition, usage, convenience, and preference towards the traditional Korean rice cake-on purchasing intention was investigated among the university students in Busan area. Of the entire students, 47.5% were male and 52.5% female; 51.0% had less than \5,000,000 and 49.0% had \5,000,000 or more in household income level per month; and 46.0% live with parent(s) whereas 54.0% by themselves. The findings showed that consumption patterns lie between 4.0 and 6.0 in Likert-type 7-point scale. It showed differences by gender in all of the degree of recognition, usage, convenience, and preference.
