Following natural disasters, there is a need to develop temporary housing through the rapid installation of mass-produced prefabricated housing. This study has developed a model construction manual for prefabricated temporary housing installable in underground spaces. First, the temporary housing prototype was drawn based on opinion poll results from earlier studies. $4.32m^2$ was calculated as the basic unit of the temporary housing living space for one person. Units included panel type, box type and mixed-type, for a variety of field conditions and scales. In order to enable space expansion and movement desirable to the user, the prototype was combination of panel and box types. The drawn prototype was utilized as the basic design template for producing prototypes and for the manual. Second, the possibility of utilizing subway stations as temporary housing was verified through the production of the prototype, and the construction process was summarized in the manual. The manual was developed in the form of a checklist to provide a guideline for users to build with prefab materials.

The purpose of this study is to provide data for planning future temporary housing in Korea by comparing and analyzing the characteristics of emergency housing rapidly supplied by Japan Prefabricated Construction Suppliers and Manufacturers Association(JPA) and general construction companies, according to the supply subject in times of natural disasters in Japan. Literature reviews and on-site field investigations are conducted as research methods during the period of August 4th~9th, 2019. As subjects of study, the characteristics of two housing complex built in Ishinomaki City with different supply subjects were compared and analyzed. As a result of this study, Japan has a clear distinction of terms for emergency housing, which are divided into rental and construction types. With the close cooperation between the government, local governments and construction companies, providing a prompt systematic supply is possible. The characteristics of emergency housing are differ depending on supply subjects. The emergency housing of JPA has diversity of plane, two rooms facing south, and fast construction time, while the emergency housing of the general construction company has a flexible spatial transformation and excellence of materials.

본 연구는 재난 상황 발생 후 이재민들에게 임시 주거용 공간을 손쉽게 제공하기 위한 임시 주거용 프리패브 모듈라 구조를 제안하기 위해서 진행하였다. 이를 위해 관련 디자인 개념 및 실행을 위해 국내에 등록된 조립식 구조물이나 프리패브 구조와 관련된 다양한 특허를 검색하고 수집하였으며, 이를 특성별로 분류하였다. 결과적으로 임시 주거용 프리패브 모듈라 구조의 공간은 "확장성", "조립 및 해체의 용이성", "빌트인 구조", 그리고 "에너지 효율성"과 같은 추가적인 주요 요인에 대해서도 고려해야 하며, 각 사례는 "세부 조립 모듈형", "모듈형 확장형", "공간 유닛 확장형"의 3가지의 형식으로 구분되었다. 향후 연구에서는 해외 특허를 대상으로 다양한 사례를 수집하고 분석할 예정이며, 이를 통해 가능한 낮은 생산 단가로 양산 및 제공할 수 있도록 구체적인 구현 방법에 대해서도 제안하고자 한다.

환경오염이 심각해지면서 자연재해가 빈번해지고 그 피해도 증가하고 있다. 또한 인구 과밀화로 사회적 재난도 빈번해지며 지역과 범위, 피해가 다양해서 예측이 어렵다. 재해가 다양해지고 피해규모도 커지면서 재해 시 이재민의 규모와 대피기간이 다양해졌다. 주거를 상실한 이재민에게 2차 피해로부터 보호받을 시설을 신속하게 제공해야 한다. 이에 조립식 주택을 지원하고 있지만 보급이 어렵다는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 대피시설의 수용능력이 부족하거나 대피시설이 미비할 때 신속한 보급이 가능한 실외용 임시주거시설을 계획하는 것이 최종 목표이다.

본 연구는 다양한 환경에서 임시 주거를 위한 공간을 쉽게 구성하는 방법을 분석한다. 이를 위해 모듈라 조립식 건축 구조의 사례를 분석하고 임시 주거 공간을 형성할 수 있는 다양한 해결 방안을 탐색한다. 본 연구를 통해 예측이 불가능한 다양한 상황에서 사용자의 안정적 생활 환경을 위한 주거 공간을 구축하기 위해 다양한 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 이와 관련된 다양한 해외의 특허 사례를 수집하고 분석하여 다음과 같이 총 4가지의 그룹으로 그 결과를 도출하였다. 이는 1) 소규모 부품을 활용한 조립 방식, 2) 프리패브 모듈의 적층 방식, 3) 공간 확장 방식, 그리고 4) 세부요소의 제작 방식으로 구분될 수 있으며, 이를 기반으로 향후 보다 더 저비용 및 효율적으로 구축이 가능한 프리패브 임시 주거 공간의 구조를 연구하고자 한다.
