초정밀 비구면 렌즈 금형가공시스템 개발 (Development of machining system for ultra-precision aspheric lens mold)

  • As consumer in optics, electronics, aerospace and electronics industry grow, the demand for ultra precision aspherical surface lens increases higher. Precision turning with single-diamond tools has a long history of development for fabrication of optical quality surfaces since the advent of aerostatic rotary spindles and precise linear motion guide ways. To enhance the precision and productivity of ultra precision aspherical surface micro lens, the following specification of ultra precision grinding system is required: the highest rotational speed of the grinder is 100,000rpm and its turning accuracy is $0.1{\mu}m$, positioning accuracy is $0.1{\mu}m$. The development process of the grinding system for the ultra precision aspherical surface micro lens for optoelectronics industry is introduced. In the work reported in this paper, an intelligent grinding system for ultra precision aspherical surface machining was designed by considering the factors affecting the surface roughness and profiles accuracy. An aerostatic form was adopted to build the spindle of the workpiece and the spindle of grinder and ultra precision LM guide way was adopted in this system. And this paper deals with mirror grinding of an aspheric surface micro lens by resin bonded diamond wheel and spherical lens of BK7. It results was that a form accuracy of $0.6{\mu}m$ P-V and a surface roughness of $0.006{\mu}m$ Rmax.

To embody high reliability and stability, reliability estimation technology development is important. When new product is developed, performance and reliability evaluation of product are essential element.   • This paper presents a precision voltage control technique of a single phase PWM inverter for a constant voltage and constant frequency(CVCF) applications. The proposed control employes a PLL compensating loop which minimize the steady state error and phase delay. The computer simulation and experiment are carried out for the actual single phase PWM inverter and the results well demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control.

  • In this paper, a controller design for brushless linear motor is implemented. The designed controller is mainly composed of current, speed and position controller, which are carried out by the high-speed digital signal processor (DSP). In addition the PWM inverter is controlled by space voltage PWM method. This system is implemented by using 32-bit DSP (TMS320C31), a high-integrated logic device (EPM7192), and IPM (Intelligent Power Module) for compact and powerful system design. The experimental results show the effective performance of controller for the brushless linear motor.

미세표면구조가 전자인쇄에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Micro Surface Structure on Printed Electronics)

  • The effect of micro surface structure on printing for printed electronics has been studied experimentally. The photolithography MEMS fabricationwass used to make a SU-8 molder which has micro structures on the surface, and the PDMS micro structure was fabricated by the PDMS molding method. In the aspect of printed electronics, we used silver paste conductive ink. We measured the surface energy variation on pillar microstructure. The microstructure was used to real printing experiment by a screen printing. We printed 1cm micro lines which have $30{\sim}250{\mu}m$ width, and checked the conductivity to sort out opened line pattern. Printability was defined by success probability of printed patterns and we found that the present microstructures improve the printability significantly.

  • In this paper, field test results of a new efficient integer ambiguity resolution algorithm for precision Carrier Differential GPS(CDGPS) positioning are presented. The new algorithm is based on a reconfiguration Kalman filter which is designed to be used for the real-time precise positioning with low cost, single frequency, conventional C/A code GPS receivers. 인쇄전자를 위한 그라비아 옵셋 인쇄 (Gravure Offset Printing for Printed Electronics)

  • Manufacturing of printed electronics using printing technology has begun to get into the hot issue in many ways due to the low cost effectiveness to existing semi-conductor process. This technology, with low cost and high productivity, can make it possible to produce printed electronics such as TFT, solar cell, RFID Tag, printed battery, and so on. In this study, apparatus of gravure-offset printing are developed for fine line-width/gap printing and the results obtained from the apparatus shows that it is possible to make around 20 micro-meter line-width/gap printing patterns. The roll-to-roll printing system for fine line-width printing based on primary experiment is presented. The printing results obtained from the system shows around 30 micro-meter line-width/gap printing patterns.

Frequency Tuning Characteristics of a THz-wave Parametric Oscillator

  • Frequency tuning characteristics of a THz-wave by varying phase-matching angle and pump wavelength in a noncollinear phase-matching THz-wave parametric oscillator (TPO) are analyzed. A novel scheme to realize the tuning of a THz-wave by moving the cavity mirror forwards and backwards is proposed in a noncollinear phase-matching TPO. The parametric gain coefficients of the THz-wave in a $LiNbO_3$ crystal are explored under different working temperatures. The relationship between the poling period of periodically poled $LiNbO_3$ (PPLN) and the THz-wave frequency under the condition of a quasi-phase-matching configuration is deduced. Such analyses have an impact on the experiments of the TPO.

Multi-Cattle Tracking Algorithm with Enhanced Trajectory Estimation in Precision Livestock Farms

  • In precision cattle farm, reliably tracking the identity of each cattle is necessary. Effective tracking of cattle within farm environments presents a unique challenge, particularly with the need to minimize the occurrence of excessive tracking trajectories. To address this, we introduce a trajectory playback decision tree algorithm that reevaluates and cleans tracking results based on spatio-temporal relationships among trajectories. This approach considers trajectory as metadata, resulting in more realistic and accurate tracking outcomes. This algorithm showcases its robustness and capability through extensive comparisons with popular tracking models, consistently demonstrating the promotion of performance across various evaluation metrics that is HOTA, AssA, and IDF1 achieve 68.81%, 79.31%, and 84.81%.

  • Roll-to-roll process is an emerging mass production method for printed and flexible electronics such as touch screen panel, RFID tag, thin film solar cell, and flexible display due to its high throughput. High precision in printing and coating is required to apply functional materials onto substrate. For such reason, every part of the roll-to-roll equipment needs to be precisely fabricated and to retain its precision under regular operation. In this article, the precision of cantilever type idler roller and a novel method to mitigate its deflection under web tension loading are discussed and the method is verified using both the numerical and the experimental works. The proposed method improves the structural rigidity of cantilever type roller whose advantages, such as low capital cost and high web path configurability, are maintained.
