3D printing technology enables the production of creative and personalized food products that meet consumer needs, such as an attractive visual appearance, fortification of specific nutrients, and modified textures. To popularize and diversify 3D-printed foods, an evaluation of the printing feasibility of various food pastes, including materials that cannot be printed natively, is necessary. Most animal resources, such as meat, milk, and eggs, are not inherently printable; therefore, the rheological properties governing printability should be improved through pre-/post-processing or adding appropriate additives. This review provides the latest progress in extrusion-based 3D printing of animal resource-based inks. In addition, this review discusses the effects of ink composition, printing conditions, and post-processing on the printing performance and characteristics of printed constructs. Further research is required to enhance the sensory quality and nutritional and textural properties of animal resource-based printed foods.

Purpose: This pilot study aimed to assess the feasibility, preliminary efficacy, and effects of a mobile app healthcare coaching program developed based on self-regulation theory among youths with type 1 diabetes. Methods: A mixed-method design was utilized. Participants were randomly assigned into intervention (n=23, 12-week coaching program) or control groups (n=16, usual care). Pre- and post-intervention assessments included self-efficacy, diabetes management behavior, and health outcomes (quality of life, depression, and HbA1c). Quantitative data were analyzed with SPSS/WIN ver. 26.0. The narrative information from the participants in the healthcare coaching program underwent content analyzed. Results: The intervention group had significantly lower depression scores (t=2.57, p=.014) than the control group. No significant differences were observed in self-efficacy, diabetes management behavior, and health outcomes between the two groups. The average frequency of health behavior monitoring per week among the participants was 1.86±1.60. The qualitative findings indicated that participants perceived improved diabetes self-management with the intervention; however, challenges during vacations, dietary control difficulties, and a lack of disease awareness were identified. Conclusion: The healthcare coaching program improved psychological aspects for youth with type 1 diabetes. Further research is needed to develop and implement mobile app interventions aimed at enhancing compliance with diabetes management in pediatric and adolescent populations.

A recently the advancement of society, AI technology has made significant strides, especially in the fields of computer vision and voice recognition. This study introduces a system that leverages these technologies to recognize users through a camera and relay commands within a vehicle based on voice commands. The system uses the YOLO (You Only Look Once) machine learning algorithm, widely used for object and entity recognition, to identify specific users. For voice command recognition, a machine learning model based on spectrogram voice analysis is employed to identify specific commands. This design aims to enhance security and convenience by preventing unauthorized access to vehicles and IoT devices by anyone other than registered users. We converts camera input data into YOLO system inputs to determine if it is a person, Additionally, it collects voice data through a microphone embedded in the device or computer, converting it into time-domain spectrogram data to be used as input for the voice recognition machine learning system. The input camera image data and voice data undergo inference tasks through pre-trained models, enabling the recognition of simple commands within a limited space based on the inference results. This study demonstrates the feasibility of constructing a device management system within a confined space that enhances security and user convenience through a simple real-time system model. Finally our work aims to provide practical solutions in various application fields, such as smart homes and autonomous vehicles.

The existing Double T-Beams have been positively constructed in America and Europe due to their elegant appearance and simple section shapes. However, there are some problems; thery are relatively weak in the structural resistance, and need to use somewhat limited and complicated construction methods. In this paper, new composite beams made of concrete and steel are proposed, by taking adventage of their merits in an effort to solve thess controversial problems. In addition, feasibility is presented in developing composite Double T-Beams by introducing pre-stressing forces as well to enhance structural safety.

The production stability of high-yielding mutants of Streptomyces lincolnensis immobilized on celite beads was examined in repeated batch cultures. We also explored the feasibility of immobilization of vegetative mycelial cells on pre-wetted celite beads, which is practical method for cell immobilization. Repeated transfer of immobilized cells into fresh medium every 10 days increased productivity of immobilized cells and maximum concentration of lincomycin, 1007 $({\pm}256)$ mg/L, was obtained at the end of the ninth cycle. A 1.4-fold higher productivity was obtained in immobilized-cell culture than that obtained by suspended-cell culture. When pre-wetted beads were inoculated with vegetative mycelia and cultured a slightly higher amount of immobilized cells and lincomycin was obtained more than those obtained by culture of spores immobilized on dry beads. This result indicates that immobilization of mycelial cells on pre-wetted beads was readily available. This technique is simple and no additional facilities are required for cell immobilization.

Background and Objectives Reinke's edema is a benign vocal fold disease caused by an edematous laryngeal superficial layer of lamina propria. The first line treatment is cessation of smoking and laryngeal microsurgery. The aim of the study is to evaluate the feasibility and efficacy of percutaneous steroid injection via cricothyroid membrane in patients with Reinke's edema. Materials and Method From Jan 2010 to July 2018, 33 Patients with Reinke's edema managed by vocal fold steroid injection via the cricothyroid membrane were included in this study. We compared medical records of laryngoscopy, stroboscopy and Multi-Dimensional Voice Program analysis at pre-treatment and post-treatment. Subjective voice improvement was evaluated using Voice Handicap Index-30 (VHI-30). Results 75.7% of the patients showed partial response and 6.06% showed complete response. 93.94% were present smokers and only 4 patients ceased smoking after the treatment. In acoustic analysis, the pre-treatment mean value of jitter, shimmer, and noise to harmonic ratio was 2.30±3.21, 9.34±10.37, 1.11±2.90 each. The post-treatment value was 2.20±1.89, 6.96±5.30, 0.20±0.09 respectively and none of the parameters were statistically significant. For subjective symptom improvement, 25 (75.8%) patients showed a better score on post-treatment VHI-30 compared to pre-treatment. Conclusion According to our study, steroid injection is a relatively safe and effective procedure for patients with Reinke's edema. A vocal fold steroid injection via the cricothyroid membrane can be an alternative treatment option for those who are not able to undergo conventional laryngeal microscopic surgery, however cessation of smoking is necessary for effective treatment.
Objective : The feasibility and usefulness of transradial catheterization for coronary and neuro-intervention are well known. However, the anatomical change in the catheterized radial artery (RA) is not well understood. Herein, we present the results of ultrasonographic observation of the RA after routine transradial cerebral angiography (TRCA). Methods : Patients who underwent routine TRCA with pre- and post-procedure Doppler ultrasonography (DUS) of the catheterized RA were enrolled. We then recorded and retrospectively reviewed the diameter and any complicated features of the RA observed on DUS, and the factors associated with the diameter and complications were analyzed. Results : A total of 223 TRCAs across 181 patients were enrolled in the current study. The mean RA diameter was 2.48 mm and was positively correlated with male gender (p<0.001) and hypertension (p<0.002). The median change in diameter after TRCA was less than 0.1 mm (range, -1.3 to 1.2 mm) and 90% of changes were between -0.8 and +0.7 mm. Across 228 procedures, there were 12 cases (5.3%) of intimal hyperplasia and 22 cases (9.6%) of asymptomatic local vascular complications found on DUS. Patients with abnormal findings on the first procedure had a smaller pre-procedural RA diameter than that of patients without findings (2.26 vs. 2.53 mm, p=0.0028). There was no significant difference in the incidence of abnormal findings for the first versus subsequent procedures (p=0.68). Conclusion : DUS identified the pre- and post-procedural diameter and local complications of RA. Routine TRCA seems to be acceptable with regard to identifying local complications and changes in RA diameter.

In order to find a feasibility of applying an agricultural biomass to the anaerobic digestion system, the effects of pre-treatment of rice straw was investigated by different sizes, temperatures, ultrasonic frequencies, and with/without NaOH treatment on the change of soluble organic matter, which is generated most dominantly in Korea. It was observed that SCOD(soluble chemical oxygen demand) as the index for the decomposition of rice straw increased with the smaller particle size, higher reaction temperature and alkali treatment. With treatment of 5% NaOH, it was shown that the highest concentrations of SCOD were observed at 9,000 mg $L^{-1}$ and 6,000mg $L^{-1}$ at $35^{\circ}C$ and $55^{\circ}C$, respectively. Agitating with ultrasonic irradiation could be enhanced SCOD of rice straw less than 3 cm with 40 kHz of ultrasound. Optimal RPM in this study was at 150 rpm regardless of reaction temperatures.
In Mobile IP-enabled wireless LAN (WLAN), packet flows are corrupted due to the handoff of a mobile node (MN) at the link and network layers, which results in burst packet losses and can cause temporary buffer underflow in a streaming client at the MN. This transient behavior hurts time-sensitive streaming media applications severely. Among many suggestions to address this handoff problem, few studies are concerned with empirical issues regarding the practical validation of handoff options on the time-sensitive streaming media applications. In this paper, targeting seamless streaming over Mobile IP-enabled WLAN, we introduce a seamless media streaming framework that estimates accurate pre-buffering level to compensate the handoff latency. In addition, we propose a link-layer (L2) assisted seamless media streaming system as a preliminary version of this framework. The proposed system is designed to reduce the handoff latency and to overcome the playback disruption from an implementation viewpoint. A packet buffering and forwarding mechanism with L2 trigger is implemented to reduce the handoff latency and to eliminate burst packet losses generated during the handoff. A pre-buffering adjustment is also performed to compensate the handoff latency. The experimental results show that the proposed approach eliminates packet losses during the handoff and thus verify the feasibility of seamless media streaming over Mobile IP-enabled WLAN.

In this study, the feasibility of using vegetable oil extracted from tropical crop seed as a biodiesel feedstock was investigated by producing biodiesel and analysing the quality parameters as a transport fuel. In order to produce biodiesel efficiently, two step reaction process(pre-treatment and transesterificaion) was required because the tropical crop oil have a high content of free fatty acids. To determine the suitable acid catalyst for the pre-esterification, three kinds of acid catalysts were tested and sulfuric acid was identified as the best catalyst. After constructing the experimental matrix based on RSM and analysing the statistical data, the optimal pre-treatment conditions were determined to be 26.7% of methanol and 0.982% of sulfuric acid. Trans-esterification experiments of the pre-esterified oil based on RSM were carried out, then discovered 1.24% of KOH catalyst and 22.76% of methanol as the optimal trans-esterification conditions. However, the quantity of KOH was higher than the previously established KOH concentration of our team. So, we carried out supplemental experiment to determine the quantity of catalyst and methanol. As a result, the optimal transesterification conditions were determined to be 0.8% of KOH and 16.13% of methanol. After trans-esterification of tropical crop oil, the produced biodiesel could meet the major quality standard specifications; 100.8% of FAME, 0.45 mgKOH/g of acid value, 0.00% of water, 0.04% of total glycerol, $4.041mm^2/s$ of kinematic viscosity(at $40^{\circ}C$).
