  • Constructions sites are affected by Diversity workplace, complexity of construction, Change of place, Mobility of workers and so on. In a single establishment, Prime contractors and subcontractors have to conduct their work at the same time. There are a lot of unpredictable risks when the construction is running, coordination between contractors is very important to do a risk assessment under the condition. Large Construction companies were investigated by previous studies. Survey research is applied to the risk assessment. In the writing, Risk assessment of the entire lower level. Because of the low level of risk factors to find. Also, There was a limit to investigate accidents. Confirmed that Effort to derive a risk factors were desperately of the risk assessment. Results were obtained through previous studies. The PCM is several experts should be joined. Experts Site Manager, Supervisor, Safety Manager, Director Contractor, Work team leader is required to participate. Construction plans, Process Planning to the risk find beforehand. And Determines how the operations and the control. Also, Made it into the database. and PCRA can be used in the risk assessment was developed.

  • Various lean design and construction methods such as target value design, pull planning, value stream mapping have successfully transformed the commercial building construction industry into achieving improved productivity, higher design and construction quality, and meeting the target values of construction projects. Considering the significant advantages of lean, the accelerated dissemination and adoption of lean methods and tools for construction is highly desirable. Currently, the lean design and construction body of knowledge is imparted primarily through publications and conferences. However, one of the most effective ways to impart this soft knowledge is through getting students and trainees involved in hands-on participatory games, which can quickly help them truly understand the concept and apply it to real-world problems. The COVID-19 Pandemic has raised an urgent need of developing virtual games that can be played simultaneously from various locations over the Internet, but these virtual games should be as effective as in-person games. This research develops an online 3D simulation game for Target Value Design that is as effective as in-person games or possibly better in terms of knowledge capture and retention and enjoyable environment and experience. The virtual game is tested on volunteers using feedback from pre-and post- simulation surveys to evaluate its efficacy.

  • 국내 건설 산업에 있어 공항시설, 체육시설, 집회시설, 판매시설 등에 대한 수요가 증가하면서 무주대공간의 필요성이 증가되고 있는 추세이다. 우주대공간 구축에 있어,기존의 PEB(Pre-Engineered Building)구조나 Pipe Truss구조는 span이 커짐에 따라 철재중량이 급격히 증대되고 장스판에는 적용이 어려운 구조적 문제가 발생하게 된다. 이러한 문제를 해결하는 구조방법 중 하나로 Space Frame이 고려되고 있으나 아직 국내에서는 Space Frame에 대한 연구가 미흡하여 그 활용성이 높지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 공사비용, 공사기간, 시공성 등에서 여러 장정을 지닌 Space Frame을 소개하고 무주대공간 구축에 있어 Space Frame을 적용한 사례분석을 통하여 Space Frame의 특징을 조사하고자 하였다. 더 나아가 향후 국내 건설업계에 무한한 발전 가능성을 가진 Space frame의 기본적 특성과 다른 구법들과의 비교를 통해 장점을 확인함으로써 Space Frame에 대한 국내연구를 활성화시키고 향후 실무를 담당하는 현장에서 무주대공간으로서의 Space Frame의 활용을 높이고자 한다.

  • In the inner turn key constructions the problems of uniform types are repeatedly occurred, and, especially, many problems happen up to the stage of pre-construction(from a bid to a contract) owing to the specialties of the turn key constructions. So the claim factors of the Korean turn key constructions were abstracted in antecedent paper. When the technicians meeting the interior turn key constructions for the first time and working here now are well acquainted with only these factors, many claims will be prevented. By analysing the degree of claims by claims factors through the questionnaires to the experts about the abstracted factors and surveying the amount of the claims through the case studies, what factors exerted how much of influence on the claims was tested and analyzed. Studying and Managing the factors affecting the claims much led the technicians in charge of internal turn key constructions to the prevention and the proper solution of the site claims.

Developing a Best-Evidence Pre-employment Medical Examination: An Example from the Construction Industry

  • The Dutch construction industry has introduced a compulsory preemployment medical examination (PE-ME). Best-evidence contents related to specific job demands are, however, lacking and need to be gathered. After the identification of job demands and health problems in the construction industry (systematic literature search and expert meeting), specific job demands and related requirements were defined and instruments proposed. Finally, a work ability assessment was linked to the instruments' outcomes, resulting in the modular character of the developed PE-ME. Twenty-two specific job demands for all Dutch construction jobs were identified, including kneeling/squatting, working under time pressure, and exposure to hazardous substances. The next step was proposing self-report questions, screening questionnaires, clinical tests, and/or performance-based tests, leading to a work ability judgment. "Lifting/carrying" is described as an example. The new modular PE-ME enables a job-specific assessment of work ability to be made for more than 100 jobs in the Dutch construction industry.

공공건설 계약금액 조정의 계약예규 개선방안 연구 - 물가변동 분류 사례 중심으로 - (A Study on Improvement of Contract Regulations for Adjusting Contract Amount in Public Construction - Focused on examples of price fluctuation classification -)

  • 국가계약법 시행령 제64조 물가변동 계약금액 조정과 관련한 법령의 충족요건은 계약체결일로 부터 물가변동율이 5% 이상 이었으며, 조정방법도 중앙관서의 장 또는 계약담당공무원과 계약상대자가 협의하는 것 이었으나, 2005. 9. 8. 대통령령 제19035호 계약체결일에서 입찰일로, 충족요건도 5%이상에서 3%이상으로 변경되었고 계약금액 조정방법도 계약시에 계약상대자가 원하는 조정방법으로 결정하는 것으로 변경되었다. 이런 충족요건의 완화와 계약상대자의 권한강화 개정은 계약상대자에게 부당하게 이익 또는 불이익을 주지않고 공공건설 수급사업자에게까지 적용되어 원활한 목적 달성에 지장이 초래되는 것을 막기 위한 것이다. 상기와 같이 기준이 완화되고 권리를 보장받게 되었음에도 기존의 물가변동 조정 계약예규를 적용하다 보면 정부 제도의 당초 취지와는 달리, 한국은행 물가경제통계 분류방식과 공공건설공사에서 적용되는 계약예규 분류기준 불일치 때문에 공사종류별 물가변동 조정금액이 과다, 과소 산정 적용되고 있는 경우를 볼 수 있다. 이에 사례들을 통하여 문제점을 분석하고 개선방안을 통하여 적정 공사비 조정이 이루어 질수 있도록 하는 것에 이 연구의 목적이 있다.
