의류 브랜드의 지속가능성 실천을 위한 프레임워크 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Framework to Achieve the Sustainability of Apparel Brands)

  • One of the most important objectives that apparel company will pursue in 21 century is to achieve the critical factors of the sustainability. The concept of sustainability is to meet the demands for the valuable life of contemporary generation and to satisfy the desires for preservation of the species and the productive life of future generation by protecting the earth environment from the waste and pollution and by developing and maintaining harmoniously main economical, social, environmental and cultural factors. The practice of sustainability was focused only on the environmental factors in past. Now, the effective and efficient practice of sustainability should be fulfilled and executed in social factors of the responsibility company has, in economical factors and in the cultural factors that is the critical in fashion industry. The purpose of the study is to develop the practical framework consisting of four sustainable factors which apparel brand should refer and apply to the practice of sustainability. By executing the practical factors of the frameworks, apparel company can take a lot of advantages. By practicing the environmental factors, company can get Eco-efficiency. Apparel company can take the social responsibility by performing social sustainable factors, can make economical quality growth by fulfilling economical sustainable factors, and can understand cultural diversity by executing cultural sustainable factors. As one of the most important preparation in 21 century industry, the apparel brand should have an interest in and require the practical management of sustainability, objective setting and practice of brand unit, reflection on the sustainability in brand planning.

물리치료학 수업에서의 문제중심학습(PBL)의 모듈 개발과 적용 (The Development and Application of a Problem-based Learning Module for Physical Therapy Classes)

  • Purpose: This research was to develop a module for problem-based learning(PBL) and to enhance the problem-solving abilities of physical therapy students in a neurological physical therapy course and to evaluate the effects of the module using quantitative and qualitative data. Methods: The PBL module was applied to 55 third-year physical therapy students who participated in a neurological physical therapy course at S university in Seoul. Anonymous self-report questionnaires and reflection journals were collected, and the data were analyzed. Results: The results of the analysis showed that the academic achievements of the students who participated in the first PBL class improved compared to the academic achievements of the students who had participated in the same class in the previous semester. Second, the students who participated in the PBL class evaluated the PBL as a very effective learning method for developing clinical practical ability. Third, the students of the PBL class showed increased cooperation and communication abilities between team members. Conclusion: The results of this study indicated that, if PBL class case studies and various types of teaching and learning methods appropriate for theoretical and practical fields are continuously studied, then it is expected that teaching models will be developed that can develop flexibility and creativity among preliminary physical therapists in a rapidly changing medical environment.

평판 구조물의 진동 파워흐름해석을 위한 비보존 조인트 개발 (Development of Compliant and Dissipative Joints in Coupled Thin Plates for Vibrational Energy Flow Analysis)

  • In this paper, a general solution for the vibrational energy and intensity distribution through a compliant and dissipative joint between plate structures is derived on the basis of energy flow analysis (EFA). The joints are modeled by four sets of springs and dashpots to show their compliancy and dissipation in all four degrees of freedom. First, for the EFA, the power transmission and reflection coefficients for the joint on coupled plate structures connected at arbitrary angles were derived by the wave transmission approach. In numerical applications, EFA is performed using the derived coefficients for coupled plate structures under various joint properties, excitation frequencies, coupling angles, and internal loss factors. Numerical results of the vibrational energy distribution showed that the developed compliant and dissipative joint model successfully predicted the joint characteristics of practical structures vibrating in the medium-to-high frequency ranges. Moreover, the intensity distribution of a compliant and dissipative joint is described.

잠제의 형상 변화에 따른 반사파 및 투과파의 거동특성 (Behaviors of Reflected and Transmitted Waves for Geometric Change of Submerged Breakwater)

  • A numerical model is represented to calculate the wave fields such as the reflected waves, the transmitted waves, and depth averaged velocities over submerged breakwaters for the normally incident wave trains of nonlinear monochromatic wave. The numerical model is correctly formulated by using both the finite amplitude shallow water equations with the effects of bottom friction and the explicit dissipative Lax-Wendroff finite difference scheme, also satisfactorily verified by comparison with the other results. The behaviors of reflected and transmitted waves with respect to geometric parameters of submerged breakwater such as the slope, crest depth, and crest width are numerically analyzed in this study. In particular, the reflection and transmission coefficients are quantitatively calculated as the function of geometric parameter of submerged breakwater. It is found that the crest depth among parameters related to practical design may be the most important parameter in designing the submerged breakwater. Therefore, the effective and economic performances of submerged breakwater should be depended on the determination of optimal crest depth.

An Efficient and Secure Authentication Scheme Preserving User Anonymity

  • Authentication and key establishment are fundamental procedures to establish secure communications over public insecure network. A password-based scheme is common method to provide authentication. In 2008, Khan proposed an efficient password-based authentication scheme using smart cards to solve the problems inherent in Wu-Chieu's authentication scheme. As for security, Khan claimed that his scheme is secure and provides mutual authentication between legal users and a remote server. In this paper, we demonstrate Khan's scheme to be vulnerable to various attacks, i. e., password guessing attack, insider attack, reflection attack and forgery attack. Our study shows that Khan's scheme does not provide mutual authentication and is insecure for practical applications. This paper proposes an improved scheme to overcome these problems and to preserve user anonymity that is an issue in e-commerce applications.

  • In order to increase the efficiency of LED, transparent electrodes should be also developed. also suitable anti-reflection coating (ARC) is necessary for practical device applications. In our paper, Al-doped ZnO (AZO) films were fabricated by sputtering on GaP substrate(wavelength:620nm). Choosing optimum substrate temperature and sputtering rate, high quality AZO films were formed. We confirmed that the surface and electrical properties, which implemented using the methods of AFM, Hall measurement. The properties of AZO thin films especially depended on the thickness. We presumed that the change of the increase the external quantum efficiency of LED according to the AZO thin film of thickness.

비틀림 유도파를 이용한 배관 내부 슬러지검출 (Sludge Detection Inside Pipes Using Torsional Guided Waves)

  • A new method is presented that uses guided wave techniques for sludge and blockages detection in long-range pipelines. Existing techniques have the limitations that the sludge position needs to be known a priori and the area to be inspected needs to be accessible. Two guided wave techniques have been developed which allow the sludge or blockages to be detected remotely without the need to access the specific location where the pipe is blocked, nor to open the pipe. The first technique measures the reflection of guided waves by sludge which can be used to accurately locate the blocked region; the second technique detects sludge by revealing the changes to the transmitted guided waves propagating in the blocked region or after it. The two techniques complement each other and their combination leads to a reliable sludge or blockage detection. Various types of realistic sludge have been considered in the study and the practical capabilities of the two techniques have been demonstrated.

포트폴리오 과정 및 평가에 대한 학생의 만족도조사 (A Survey of Student Satisfaction with a Portfolio Process and Assessment)

  • The purposes of this study were to identify and analyze students' attitudes and satisfaction to the portfolio process and assessment for the Introduction to Clinical Medicine course at Ewha Womans University School of Medicine in Seoul, Korea. The subjects consisted of 64 medical school students. Questionnaires consisting of 20 5-point Likert-type items were developed, including three question domains: 1) orientation, 2) portfolios in general, 3) individualized feedback. The mean and median were found and frequency analysis was performed to identify the common characteristics of the participants. A major finding was that 54.7% of the respondents felt that the self-reflection involved in building the portfolio was a valuable learning experience. Plus, the majority of respondents perceived that the individualized feedback had a positive tone and its contents were specific, practical, and constructive. The students perceived that building and writing portfolios heightened their understanding of exit learning outcomes and enhanced their reflective thinking and self-directed learning skills. Meanwhile, some students perceived that there was too much paperwork in the portfolio process and that the process was time consuming. Furthermore, 32.8% of the respondents said that they had difficulty establishing their learning strategies by themselves and self-directing their learning during the portfolio process. In conclusion, it is expected that building a portfolio can help students not only to enhance their ability to accumulate and use their personal learning resources but also to develop the professional qualities required by doctors, such as self-directed learning, self-reflection, lifelong learning, team work, organizational skills, time management and prioritization, and professional thinking and behavior.

제주지역 특성을 반영한 카페건축에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Cafe Architecture Reflecting the Characteristics of Jeju)

  • 본 연구는 제주지역 카페 중 제주의 고유한 특성을 반영하여 건축한 카페를 연구대상으로 분석하였다. 이는 제주의 특성을 반영한 카페가 차별성과 고유성을 확보하여 나름의 경쟁력과 관광객의 지속적인 관심을 유지하고 있다는 점에서 제주에서 카페를 창업하고자하는 예비창업자들에게 실질적인 도움을 주고자 함이다. 또한 카페 건축에 적용된 제주 고유의 특성들을 살펴봄으로써 제주지역을 이해하는 학술적 기반과 적용가능한 제주의 특성을 정리하였다. 연구는 문헌분석과 현장답사를 병행하는 방법으로 진행하였으며, 그 결과 카페에서 적용된 제주지역의 특성으로서 다음과 같은 내용을 알 수 있었다. 첫째, 현상적 물성의 반영이다. 이는 제주의 현무암 등 독특한 건축재료, 형태, 지붕 등 기존 건물의 물리적 요소를 유지하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 제주의 해석적 일상의 반영이다. 이는 제주 옛집의 배치, 일상소품 등을 카페에 유지하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 제주의 서사적 시간성의 반영이다. 이는 기존 건물이 가진 역사적 사건과 이야기, 시간 등이 누적된 모습을 유지하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 점에서 제주에서 제주의 특성을 반영한 카페를 창업할 경우, 위의 세 가지 특성을 융합하여 구축한다면 매우 특성 있는 카페를 구현할 수 있을 것이다.

원위치파쇄기층화 공법의 실용화를 위한 장비개발 및 시험시공 (Research on Practical Rubblization in PCC Pavements Equipment Development and Test Construction)

  • 노후화된 콘크리트 포장 슬래브를 원위치에서 파쇄하여 기층재료로 활용하고 그 위에 덧씌우기 포장을 건설하는 원위치파쇄기층화 공법은 반사균열 문제를 완벽하게 해결할 수 있는 장점 때문에 미국에서는 성공적으로 사용되어왔다. 국내 콘크리트포장은 미국에 비하여 포장두께가 두껍고, 린콘크리트 보조기층을 사용하는 특이점을 가지고 있어 이 공법의 국내 적용시 시공성과 경제성을 확보하는 것이 필요하다. 따라서 국내 포장조건에 적합한 Multi-Head형식의 파쇄장비를 개발하였다. 이 장비는 반사균열을 제어하면서 우수한 지지력을 가진 기층으로 파쇄 되도록 설계되었다. 폐도와 사용중인 고속도로에 개발된 원위치 파쇄장비를 이용하여 시험시공을 수행하였으며, 시험시공 결과, 설계에서 목표한 파쇄골재 입경과 파쇄깊이로 노후 콘크리트포장을 파쇄하였으며, 매우 높은 지지력을 확보한다는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 일반적인 재포장에 비하여 우수한 시공성과 경제성의 확보가 가능함을 보였다.
