Recently, as a countermeasure to the buoyancy of a building, the use of permanent drainage methods have been on the increase, and these provide benefits both in terms of economical feasibility and efficiency. When a permanent drainage method is applied, some underground water can drain out. Korea has been designated by PAI (Population Action International) as a water-stressed country, and the use of outflowing groundwater is required for the efficient oversight of water resources. However, the evaluation process on the practical use of underground water is currently insufficient. Therefore, the amount of outflowing groundwater put to practical use and the standard for the water quality were examined in this research, with the aim of establishing anappraisal process on the practical use of underground water drainage. In addition, standards for the assessment of the treatment process and the application cost of underground water drainage were developed. On this basis, an evaluation process on the use of outflowing groundwater was developed and applied inthe field. The application result proved that it was possible to assess the initial investment cost and the maintenance and management cost in the field, and thesecan be compared to the costs when supplied water is used, which makes it possible to apply in the field.

The conservation or practical use of a lot of closed schools which occurred from 1982 all over the country by governmental policy has been becoming important concerns to local resident and community with economical and administrative interest. A lot of examples, sold or rented to public institutions or a person, which have been using by welfare facilities for inhabitants, facilities for education, youth, company, culture and art, and other use, could be found. It could be said that the process of user's participation of these examples is very high, that is, a lot of examples of our surrounding is applied with ecological concept have participated by most users and local residents directly to architectural repair and renewal process, and practical use. In this background, I choose total five examples more than one by Chungbuk, Chungnam, Jeonbuk, Jeonnam district to investigate examples of closed schools applied ecological architectural concept and I researched reconfiguration of site, change of exterior or interior material, application of ecological system, and role as local community.

As digital photogrammetry can acquire much three-dimensional data quickly and exactly in equal accuracy, and it has advantage that can use this in modelling, it's practical use possibility is increased in various field by collection method of data for GIS. In this study, it was intended to create 3D image that has coordinate system, and use in acquisition of position information for object. And, it was applied to discontinuities extraction and measurement of rock slope for practical use of three-dimensional image and examination of measurement accuracy. Through this, it is inspected the possibility of three-dimensional image creation and the acquisition of space information.

Several different classes of antidepressants(ADs) with newer drugs becoming available have been used for the phamacological management of a broad spectrum of mental disorders, among which depressive disorder is most commonly indicated. Successful clinical use of ADs requires a complete understanding of the psychopharmacological properties of ADs and on accurate knowledge of patients, characteristics based on clinical experience and theoretical framework. This paper aims at providing some practical information on the clinical use of ADs to assist clinicians in treating patients with major depression. The author describes (1) different classes of ADs and their presumed mechanisms of action, (2) clinical characteristics of ADs focusing on side-effect profiles, (3) some issues arising during the treatment course such as : a) pretreatment tasks, b) choice of ADs, c) therapeutic drug dose and monitoring of drug concentration, d) three stages of treatment and e) strategies in refractory depression and (4) ADs in special patient groups.

Objectives : This study proposes developing Sasang Medical Diagnosis Program using Facial form for increase in Sasang Constitution Diagnosis objectivity and putting the Diagnosis Program into practical use. The author presents a review of extant research on Sasang constitution diagnosis utilizing facial feature analysis and suggests an agenda for further research. Methods : For this thesis, a collection of dissertations on the subject of 'Usage of facial form for constitution diagnosis' published until September of 2012 such as RISS4U, OASIS, KISTI, Korean TK were reviewed. The final 33 dissertations were classified into two categories, basic or clinical research and then analyzed. Results : 9 out of 33 dissertations were of basic research and 24 were of clinical research. 1) As result of review of references, a uniform tendency was found in facial form according to Sasang Constitution. 2) In the grade of practical use, facial element is repeatedly used and the facial element of important use has constitutional differences. 3) Standard faces per Sasang Constitution were derived as result of 2-dimensional research. 4) 3-dimensional research focused on improvement of accuracy and reliability of 3D-AFRA, and there has been an attempt to develop a prototype for identification. Conclusions : For practical use of facial feature in Sasang Constitution Diagnosis, 1) Standardization of diagnosis through establishing Sasang Medical Diagnosis clinical protocol must be preceded. After the standardization, practical purpose and direction of facial form in general may be decided. 2) Information on high quality facial form of constitutional and conditional patients must be collected to form extensive database. 3) Subdivided symptomatology, as well as Sasang Constitution must be considered for diagnosis in order for diagnosis technique to acquire clinical practicality.

As the consuming pattern is changing with the expansion of Internet use and the development of communication technology, Internet shopping market is getting bigger and bigger. By product group, clothing and fashion related products occupy the biggest share. Accordingly, in this study it was tried to identify the effects of Internet utilization capability that enables consumers to search for the information that they need in this information flood, variety pursuit trend and product review accommodation status on shopping value, and to analyze the effects of the shopping value on the purchase behavior in online shopping malls. When factor analysis is nude on Internet use level, it was found that Factor 1 was 'Flow Experience,' Factor 2 'Internet Use Capability,' and Factor 3 'Internet Challenge Desire.' When factor analysis is made on Diversity Pursuit Propensity, it was found that Factor 1 was 'Site Diversity Pursuit Propensity,' Factor 2 'Brand Diversity Pursuit Propensity,' and Factor 3 'Brand Value Pursuit Propensity.' When factor analysis is nude on Product Review Accommodation Propensity, it was found that Factor 1 was 'Product Information Provision Propensity,' and Factor 2 'Product Information Receiving Propensity.' Except Internet Use Capability and Product Information Provision Propensity, all other factors showed high correlation. The factor influencing the entertainment value most was Internet challenge desire, while that influencing the practical value most was flow experience. When the effects of the entertainment value and the practical value on product purchase were analyzed, it was found that both of entertainment value and the practical value influenced product purchase and the practical value influenced the product purchase more than the entertainment value.

An architect for Cultural Technology have the most obligation to improve the cultural inheritance into an industrial resources. From an esthetical point of view, it is possible to put digital contents to a multiplicity of practical usage in the moment of its' digital conversion. These are practical resources out of an only duplication from the original. Developing cultural archetype into the most suitable model for one-source multi-use that is the core of the project. If you want to change an archetype, a Korean traditional architecture, into a creative source, you should develope a reappearance and a practical model harmonized with the image set. In addition, development process of cultural archetype digital contents based on ultimate idea and imagnation in our architectural culture, referred from cultural archetype and digital contents technology was offered by the study.

The computer programs of effective horsepower estimation of small fishing boat were developed, which was based on the statistical analysis of model test results. From the EHP estimation by these program and experimental model tests of practical fishing boats, the estimation accuracy was verified with maximum deviation of about 10 percent. Also, the EHP estimation accuracy was practically applied to initial design of four small fishing boats, and after the tank tests, the EHP reduction of the order of 15 to 25 percent was confirmed, as compared with existing ships. Moreover, a computer aided design procedure of fishing boat's hull form has been proposed in this study. The practical use of this procedure of fishing boat's hull form has been proposed in this study. The practical use of this procedure was demonstrated with the hull form design results of several fishing boats.

In the treatment of Nasal Polyps. which are produced with allergic rhinitis, chronic paranasal sinusitis at clinic. Herb-med., acupuncture and some medicine for external application have been used. The symptoms, however, has taken a turn for the better in temporary, the nasal polyps was not removed in completely. So the origin treatment was impossible by the use of herb-med.. acupuncture and medicine. Although a surgical operation (excision) of western-medicine is effective for a specified period of time (about 6 months), the nasal polyps tend to recur. Because of that the second and third operation might be needed, so we cannot consider the operation as the treatment of nasal polyps. The study was observed to investigate the nasal polyps treatment, and to search practical attempt for the clinic application through a literature study on Bisikyuk and Bithch which are similar with nasal polyps. As results, the practical application of external treatment for the nasal polyps treatment in clinic might be more necessary, and internal use of the Herb-med. with the external treatment might be treated as supplementary treatment.

Computer simulation is widely known as a very powerful and practical tool to understand behaviors of considered systems and evaluate design alternatives. However, to use simulation technologies, one should acquire simulation languages, statistics, etc. Also, lots of resources such as time and money are necessary to develop models and analyze statistical data. These obstacles prevent one from adopting simulation tools easily. This paper presents practical guidelines for successful application of simulation. Firstly, we propose how to acquire simulation tools to help one who is going to use simulation techniques. Next guidelines are for introducing simulation software set including simulation and support softwares. Lastly, guidelines for simulation project management are presented.
