  • This paper is a preliminary study to consider the introduction of structured abstracts to Korean journals in the field of library and information science (LIS). To achieve this, we first identified examples of overseas LIS journals that have adopted structured abstracts, and analyzed the occurrence statistics of each section of structured abstracts for four journals published by Emerald Publishing that emphasize the value of research and practical/social implications sections. Considering the inherent drawback of longer abstracts, we examined the abstract policies and the abstract lengths of recently published articles of four Korean LIS journals. Additionally, we identified some cases where essential elements were missing from the Korean abstracts. Finally, a proposal for the adoption of structured abstracts for Korean LIS journals was presented, focusing on the length of abstracts and the organization of sections. It is expected that the adoption of the proposed structured abstract format will facilitate the utilization of Korean LIS research in the library and information management practice.

  • It is a complex project to construct the standard system of sports events. Sports events standard system covers from the implementation plan to the evaluation work after the smooth implementation of sports events, involving many links. Large-scale sports events have extremely high media value. However, the successful organization and operation of large-scale sports events face many problems to be overcome, especially in terms of event safety. Although the organizers and organizers of large-scale events have invested many resources for the safe holding of sports events, violence similar to "football hooligans" in Europe is endless. At present, compared with Western countries, the standardization of sports events in China is low, and there is a problem of a late start and huge difference with Western developed countries. Knowing the construction of the standardization system's situation in China, we have summarized the data related to 15 sports events held in Chengdu is the last 5 years. By analyzing the problems in the process of holding these 15 events and the reflections of participants on the experience of sports events, the problems in the development of the standard system of sports events are discussed in depth. The final conclusion is that the system structure of China's sports events is not so good and athletes have a poor experience. China's sports event system still has many problems. Finally, we built a sports event standardization model using Internet of Things, and after a practical test we found that it has a good effect. Finally, we combined the current situation of sports event standardization system in China and put forward the following suggestions: laws and regulations related to the standard system of sports events must be formulated at the national level. The implementation level must strengthen the degree of integration of sports events and technology. To improve the quality of human resources in the management of sports events. The article puts forward targeted solutions, which play a great role in promoting the perfection and completeness of China's standard system for sports events. At the same time, it also promotes economic development and improves China's international status.

  • In this paper, proposes a method using a multi block structure composed of residual blocks with adaptive weights to improve the quality of results in single image super resolution. In the process of generating super resolution images using deep learning, the most critical factor for enhancing quality is feature extraction and application. While extracting various features is essential for restoring fine details that have been lost due to low resolution, issues such as increased network depth and complexity pose challenges in practical implementation. Therefore, the feature extraction process was structured efficiently, and the application process was improved to enhance quality. To achieve this, a multi block structure was designed after the initial feature extraction, with nested residual blocks inside each block, where adaptive weights were applied. Additionally, for final high resolution reconstruction, a multi kernel image reconstruction process was employed, further improving the quality of the results. The performance of the proposed method was evaluated by calculating PSNR and SSIM values compared to the original image, and its superiority was demonstrated through comparisons with existing algorithms.

  • This study developed a dry composite module-type deodorization facility with Twisting airflow changes and two forms (catalyst, adsorbent) within one module. Experiments were conducted to evaluate the reduction efficiency of odor substances C8H7N and C9H9N. The device combines UV oxidation using TiO2, catalytic oxidation using MnO2, and adsorption using A/C in five different methods. Data analysis of experimental results utilized the statistical package program Python 3.12. The program applied frequency analysis of odor removal efficiency, one-way ANOVA, and post-hoc tests, with statistical significance determined by p-value to ensure reliability and validity of the measurements. Results indicated that the highest removal efficiency of C8H7N and C9H9N was achieved by the UV+A/C method, suggesting the superior effectiveness and efficiency of the developed device. Combining multiple processes and technologies within one module enhanced odor treatment efficiency compared to using a single method. The device's modularity allows for flexibility in adapting to various sewage treatment scenarios, offering easy maintenance and cost-effective deodorization. This composite reaction module device can apply multiple technologies, such as biofilters, plasma, activated carbon filters, UV-photocatalysis, and electromagnetic-chemical systems.
