This paper examined the learning transfer of job training participants and its influencing factors. A survey of 279 care workers in the city of Seoul and Kyeong Gi province who recently participated dementia job training was conducted. The results of multiple regression analysis indicated that the self-efficacy of the care workers, the capability of instructor, the training methods and the transfer opportunity positively influenced the level of learning transfer. The findings suggested increasing care workers' self-efficacy, enhancing practical skill-based training program, hiring instructors with high workplace experiences, fostering work environment with higher transfer opportunity are required.

The primary purpose of this study is to investigate whether Moon Jae-in administration's universal service policy of mobile date to lower communications fares can be justified. To do so, this work takes a look into the key features of mobile data in our society based on a theoretical perspective as well as a practical point of view. Also, it attempts to figure out whether mobile data service should be included in the scope of universal service in Korea by analysing the key features of mobile data and rethinking the basic concepts of universal service. As a result, this work reaches a conclusion that the government should reconsider universal service policy of mobile date and reform a universal service system in a different way.

We have come to hope that this will act as an important factor in furthering national competitiveness.

This study used 236 users of individual rehabilitation system in the regions of Daejeon, Sejong, Chungnam and Chungbuk to review the effects that stressors have on the depression. During this process, the moderating effect of the factor, 'perception of hope', was verified. The data were analyzed using PASW Statistics 18.0. Major findings are as follows; First, the depression found in study subjects was higher than average. Second, there was a significant difference in the depression across groups in accordance with age, residential area, education level, social participation. Third, factors affecting the depression were identified to be residential area, social participation, health, economy and family of stressors, hope. Fourth, hope appeared to have a moderating effect in the relation between health, economy, family of stressors and depression. Based on these findings, the study presents practical and integrated measures to deter depression users of individual rehabilitation system.

Today, individuals' psychological attitude toward health has been changed from passive to active and dynamic way of thinking. This trend has made attention to wellness more interesting. However, prior studies regarding wellness have been limited in developing indices to measure status of individuals' wellness. Thus, this study adopts five major components of wellness, including physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and occupational wellness in order to examine their effects on individuals' wellness state. The data from 494 employee at various organizations were analyzed to test proposed hypotheses. The results reveal that five components of wellness have a significant influence on wellness status. Based on the findings, academic and practical implications for wellness convergence systems are discussed.

This paper deals with the design and implementation of interactive e-learning contents for OpenCourseWare. OpenCourseWare, also known as OCW began at MIT in October 2002. OCW is a free and open digital contents of high quality college and university level educational materials. In this paper, we have designed and implemented interactive e-learning contents for a regular course of introduction to java programing language and OCW of D University. We have developed a variety of multimedia elements, such as screen videos of practical exercise and animations in order to improve the effectiveness of learning. These e-learning contents are consist of interactive learning components that users can interact directly with. The e-learning contents developed in this study has been effectively applied to OCW and a regular course opened in the first semester of 2012.

OSS(Open source software) pursues the freedom to have access to open source and offers several advantages, over the proprietary software, to enterprises. Based upon Rogers(1995)' innovation-diffusion process, we assume that attributes of innovations includes five characteristics of innovations: relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, and observability, and that firms' perceptions of these characteristics predict the rate of adoption of OSS. To test this hypothesis, we presents a survey result from 201 companies and institutions concerning the use of OSS. Statistical analysis shows that adoption is highly correlated with each of those characteristics of innovations, but the regression analysis indicates that only compatibility and observability have effects on the adoption of OSS. This implies that intrinsic value of OSS is important, but unless the appropriate service package for improving IT environment is provided, it is not easy to change the perspective of corporate customers more favorable toward OSS use. As a conclusion, the academic and practical implications are also discussed.

Digital items, considered as virtual assets, include avatars, accessories for the avatars, digital wallpapers, and game items, etc. The objective of this study is to examine the factors influencing the purchase of digital items. Factors, based upon Uses and Gratifications theory, including image making, self-expression, social awareness and fun-seeking, are introduced as salient variables for purchasing digital items. In addition, social identification and flow are also considered as key motivators. Statistical results indicates that social identification affects both flows and the intension to purchase digital items, and then flow next influences intension to purchase. It was also found that motives based upon Uses and Gratifications theory influences social identification, but have no impact on flow. As a conclusion, the academic and practical implications of these findings are also discussed.

This study classified the categorization process of convergence products as a rule-based and a similarity-based categorization process. And we examined that how the categorization process was determined according to information types(visual vs. visual + verbal) about the components of two prototypes before convergence and thinking styles(holistic vs. analytic). The result of this study showed: (1) The rule-based categorization process appeared more in case of visual information with verbal information than only visual information. (2) Analytic thinkers chose a rule-based categorization process more than holistic thinkers. These findings provide the theoretical and practical implications to comprehend the categorization process of convergence products and the judgement for consideration set from various convergence products.

The present paper attempts to account for customers' purchase intention of counterfeit goods. Based on some previous analyses, we have set up a structured model for analysis with a hope to identify the relationship between benefits from using counterfeit goods and motivational factors to purchase them. It is found, first of all, that motivation for ostentation significantly influences personal benefits from using the counterfeit goods. Second, we also find that motivation for satisfaction does not exert any direct influence on the factors of benefits, though it affects decisions to purchase. Third, motivation for practicability has significant influence on personal and, more strongly, on economic benefits. Fourth, quality has significant influence on both personal and economic benefits. Again, this factor is also more closely related with economic benefits than with personal ones. We hope that we will be able to provide practical tips for those who design and plan public service advertisements that intend to reduce purchasing of counterfeit products.
