전력산업 구조개편 환경에서 비선형 내점법의 최적조류계산에 의한 전력조류 및 한계계수에 관한 연구 (A Study on Power Flow and Marginal Factor based on Optimal Power Flow using Nonlinear Interior Point Method under Restructuring Environment)

  • 본 연구에서는 전력산업 구조개편 환경에서 최적조류계산에 의한 전력조류 및 한계계수를 해석할 수 있는 실용적인 방법론을 제시한다. 먼저, 유용한 한계계수의 산정을 위해 전압제약, 선로과부하 제약, 발전 출력 제약 등의 각종 계통제약이 고려된 연료비 및 송전손실 최소화의 비선형 최적화 문제가 정식화되고 비선형 주·쌍대 내점법에 의한 해법이 제시된다. 또한, 최적조류계산에 의해 계산된 감도에 기초하여 한계가격 및 한계송전손실의 산정방법이 제시된다. 특히, 경쟁적 전력시장에서 송전손실에 관한 가격을 반영하기 위해 한계손실계수의 해석법이 제안된다. 본 연구의 결과를 IEEE RTS 24모선에 적용하여 전력시장가격의 해석에 대한 그 유용성을 검증하였다.

  • This paper presents an optimal routing algorithm (ORA) for maximizing voltage stability as well as for minimizing power loss in radial power systems. In the proposed ORA, a novel voltage stability index (VSI) for real-time assessment is newly introduced based on the conventional critical transmission path framework. In addition, the suggested algorithm can automatically detect the critical transmission paths resulting in voltage collapse when additional real or reactive loads are added. To implement an effective ORA, we have developed an improved branch exchange (IBE) method based on a loss calculation index and tie-branch power flow equations, which are suggested for real-time applications. The proposed algorithm has been tested with IEEE test systems as well as a large-scale power system in Korea to demonstrate its effectiveness and efficiency.

  • This study is an measurement and prediction of transmission loss through dash panel with multi-path in a vehicle. Measurement results of transmission loss are derided by sound power measured using the sound intensity method under locating a sound source in the anechoic room and reverberant room, respectively. Prediction one is decided by multi-path analysis of dash panel composed by a various part of materials and complicated shape. Finally, two results show a great agreement between measured and predicted transmission loss.

  • 최근 도시미관과 편리성을 위해 지중송전선로의 사용이 확대되고 있다. 하지만 지중송전선로에서 발생하는 손실, 특히 24시간 상시 운영되는 3상 케이블을 지지하고 있는 금구류에서 발생하는 손실에 관한 연구는 부족하다. 케이블지지 금구류는 도전율과 투자율을 가지는 재질로 구성되어지기 때문에 케이블에 흐르는 전류에 의한 자기장 때문에 와전류 및 히스테리시스 손실이 발생하게 된다. 이 때 발생하는 손실은 전력 에너지 전달 효율에 악영향을 미치기 때문에 손실에 대한 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 3차원 유한요소해석을 통하여 케이블의 주변 금구류에서 발생하는 와전류 및 히스테리시스 손실에 대하여 분석하였다.

Improving the Performance of Multi-Hop Wireless Networks by Selective Transmission Power Control

  • In a multi-hop wireless network, connectivity is determined by the link that is established by the receiving signal strength computed by subtracting the path loss from the transmission power. Two path loss models are commonly used in research, namely two-ray ground and shadow fading, which determine the receiving signal strength and affect the link quality. Link quality is one of the key factors that affect network performance. In general, network performance improves with better link quality in a wireless network. In this study, we measure the network connectivity and performance in a shadow fading path loss model, and our observation shows that both are severely degraded in this path loss model. To improve network performance, we propose power control schemes utilizing link quality to identify the set of nodes required to adjust the transmission power in order to improve the network throughput in both homogeneous and heterogeneous multi-hop wireless networks. Numerical studies to evaluate the proposed schemes are presented and compared.

Performance Evaluation of a Driving Power Transmission System for 50 kW Narrow Tractors

  • Purpose: The development of compact tractors that can be used in dry fields, greenhouses, and orchards for pest control, weeding, transportation, and harvesting is necessary. The development and performance evaluation of power transmission units are very important when it comes to tractor development. This study evaluates the performance of a driving power transmission unit of a 50 kW multi-purpose narrow tractor. Methods: The performance of the transmission and forward-reverse clutch, which are the main components of the driving power transmission unit of multi-purpose narrow tractors, was evaluated herein. The transmission performance was evaluated in terms of power transmission efficiency, noise, and axle load, while the forward-reverse clutch performance was evaluated in terms of durability. The transmission's power transmission efficiency accounts for the measurement of transmission losses, which occur in the transmission's gear, bearing, and oil seal. The motor's power was input in the transmission's input shaft. The rotational speed and torque were measured in the final output shaft. The noise was measured at each speed level after installing a microphone on the left, right, and upper sides. The axle load test was performed through a continuous equilibrium load test, in which a constant load was continuously applied. The forward-reverse clutch performance was calculated using the engine torque to axle torque ratio with the assembled engine and transmission. Results: The loss of power in the transmission efficiency test of the driving power unit was 6.0-9.7 kW based on all gear steps. This loss of horsepower was equal to 11-18% of the input power (52 kW). The transmission efficiency of the driving power unit was 81.5-89.0%. The noise of the driving power unit was 50-57 dB at 800 rpm, 70-77 dB at 1600 rpm, and 76-83 dB at 2400 rpm. The axle load test verified that the input torque and axle revolutions were constant. The results of the forward-reverse clutch performance test revealed that hydraulic pressure and torque changes were stably maintained when moving forward or backward, and its operation met the hydraulic design standards. Conclusions: When comprehensively examined, these research results were similar to the main driving power transmission systems from USA and Japan in terms of performance. Based on these results, tractor prototypes are expected to be created and supplied to farmhouses after going through sufficient in-situ adaptability tests.

전력산업의 경쟁체제에서 유효전력 손실을 부하에 배분하는 방법 (Allocation of Real Power losses to Individual Loads Under Competition of Deregulated Power Industries)

  • 본 논문은 전력산업이 경쟁체제로 전환되어 전력시장으로 운영될 경우 보조서비스의 하나인 유효전력손실 배분에 관한 것으로 손실배분계수를 이용하여 유효전력 손실을 부하에 배분하는 방법을 제안하며 아울러 제안하는 방법을 한계손실계수를 이용하는 방법과 비교하고자 한다. 제안하는 방법은 먼저 손실배분계수를 정의하며 이것을 이용하여 유효전력 손실에 대한 각 부하의 분담분을 계산한다. 9-모선 샘플시스템에 대한 사례연구를 통하여 제안하는 알고리즘의 효용성을 입증하고 있으며 한계손실계수를 이용하는 것보다 손실배분계수를 이용하여 유효전력손실을 부하에 배분하는 것이 타당하다는 주장을 담고 있다.

  • The surface intensity method is a relatively new tool which can identify the noise source or path and measure the radiation power. One microphone and one accelerometer are used in this new technique. In this study, this new technique has been used to measure the field transmission loss trough doors. The results of the experiment indicate that the surface intensity method produces reliable data and can be applied to the transmission loss measurement.

  • This paper represents a study on the conceptual design of new automatic bicycle transmission. The gear change in a commercial bicycle is carried out by moving the chain between sprockets. By the use of a multiple sprocket for speed change the power loss and transmission shock may occur. To solve the problem of bicycle transmission, the improved solution was derived by the technical contradiction matrix of TRIZ. The conceptual solution is one sprocket which replaces the function of multiple sprockets and adapts actively to the pitch of chain. And it was confirmed to be an adequate design through the Independence Axiom of design axiom.
