Ascorbic acid has a strong power to reduce other materials, so by using this reducing power we can analise many materials quantitatively. Dihydro-ascorbic acid is quantitatively changed into ascorbic acid under a certain condition, if reduced by hydrogen-sulfide. Dihydro-ascorbic acid also has physiolosical effect, but less effect than ascorbic acid. The effect of dihydro-ascorbic acid is regarded as a half of that of ascorbic acid. Among the analytical methods applying this theory the method using 2.6 dichlorophenol indophenol what called the method of Indophenol is used most widely; so does Hydrazine-method. But comparing these two methods the former shows a little higher rate in analytical value. Vegetable are vital sources for vitamin C. According to the report of the commitee of FAO Korean branch the amount of daily per head average intake of vitamin C is about 70mg in raw materials. Since vitamin C is easily affected by heating or oxidation in Cooking the loss is not a little. Consequntly it is regarded that the actual amount of intake will be much less than basic amount. It is therefore very important to find out that how much percent of the loss there will be in case of cooking, in order to dicide the actual amount of in take as proper nutrition for a person. Therefore this paper intended to give some help in setting a standard amount of V.C intake, by measuring the change of the V.C amount using the general cooking method and by measuring amount of V.C contained in the part of vegetable, used in Korea abundantly.
The primary goal of this study is to identify disintegration and reconstruction of the family/kinship structure in the rapidly industrializing urban area, Seoul. For this purpose, detailed data about (1) the value related to the family and kinship (2) the family relationship, especially marital relationship (3) the attitude of divorce and remarriage (4) the characteristics of the social network (5) the family/kin rites and attitude about the rites are gathered. A total of 716 subjects completed structured questionnaires. Major conclusions of the study are as follows: Firstly, most of the respondents are found not to support familism and boy preference, and they show an ambivalence about the child value analyzed by concepts of the cost and reward. Secondly, most of the respondents perceive that marital relationship has been changed toward the direction of increased relative importance of wives' opinion in the decision making process within the family. However, they believe that husbands still have more power than their wives. Respondents also believe that parents have more power than their children. Thirdly, most of the respondents view divorce as an altemative to unhappy marriage. It was also shown that relatively few have negative attitude toward remarriage. Fourthly, the social network of the respondents is characterized by two distinct trends, namely, strong parent-child ties and narrowed kin relationship. Fifthly, the urbanization and the introduction of western life style have disrupted the traditional rites of passage. But ancestral rites serve to confirm family ties, especially the gathering of siblings to perform ancestral rites for parents. Therefore foreign element exist in parallel with pre-existing traditional elements.
Along with China's increasing share in global total $CO_2$ emissions, there is a necessity for China to shoulder large emission-mitigating responsibility. The appropriate allocation of $CO_2$ emission quotas can build up a solid foundation for future emissions trading. In views of originality, an optimized approach to determine $CO_2$ emissions allocation efficiency based on the zero sum gains data envelopment analysis (ZSG-DEA) method is proposed. This paper uses a non-radial ZSG-DEA model to allocate $CO_2$ emissions between different Chinese provinces by 2020 and treats $CO_2$ as the undesirable output variable. Through the calculation of efficiency allocation amounts of provincial $CO_2$ emissions, all provinces are on the ZSG-DEA efficiency frontier. The allocation results indicate that the cumulative optimal amounts of $CO_2$ emissions in 2020 were higher than the actual amounts in 13 provinces, and lower in other 17 provinces, and show that different provinces have to shoulder different mitigation burdens in terms of emission reduction.

This study is conducted to investigate the factors affecting lumber conversion rate of sawmill industry in South Korea. Data were obtained from the survey of 38 sawmills in all geographic regions of South Korea. The variables examined in this study were region, softwood/hardwood log, domestic/imported/both log, the number of power-driven carriages (PDC) installed, the year when and country where PDCs was manufactured, the horse power of PDC, the number of labors required to operate each PDC, the sawing capacity of mill (mill size), and the types of major product and by-products. The lumber recovery factor (LRF) of sawmills were significantly influenced by the origin of logs, level of PDC automation, sawmill size, and size of logs (measured in diameter and length) while not by the location of the mill, types of major product and by-product, log species, and characteristics of PDC. Although these results provide useful information for understanding the technological characteristics of the Korean sawmill industry, further investigation with larger sample is necessary to reveal the more reliable characteristics of sawmill industry in South Korea.

A variety of Generation III/III+ reactor designs featuring enhanced safety and improved economics are being proposed by nuclear power industries around the world to solve the future energy supply shortfall. Nanofluid coolants showing an improved thermal performance are being considered as a new key technology to secure nuclear safety and economics. However, it should be noted that there is a lack of comprehensible design works to apply nanofluids to Generation III+ reactor designs. In this work, the review of accident scenarios that consider expected nanofluid mechanisms is carried out to seek detailed application spots. The Axiomatic Design (AD) theory is then applied to systemize the design of nanofluid-engineered nuclear safety systems such as Emergency Core Cooling System (ECCS) and External Reactor Vessel Cooling System (ERVCS). The various couplings between Gen-III/III+ nuclear safety features and nanofluids are investigated and they try to be reduced from the perspective of the AD in terms of prevention/mitigation of severe accidents. This study contributes to the establishment of a standard communication protocol in the design of nanofluid-engineered nuclear safety systems.

This case study developed and operated "Fashion & Film" as a fashion-related liberal arts course. The class was designed to include fashion styles exhibitted in films, fashion-related PPL, fashion design through film, fashion images of movie characters, considering gender & color images expressed in movie costumes, and the history of western costumes and asian folk costumes in films. The class was counducted through various teaching methods, such as lectures, student's presentation of movie plots, and team discussions, which created a student-led class. The team presentations at the end of the term were intended to enhance the understanding of fashion through movies. The results of subjective lecture evaluation of "Fashion & Film" showed the most satisfaction with the communication with professor. Students said that it was good to understand fashion through film. They expressed a burden with the team project; however, they were satisfied with the team project outcomes. Students said that PowerPoint was used very effectively. On the other hand, there was an prevelent opinion that the content of PowerPoint and workbook did not match. To address this inconvenience, a textbook called "Fashion in Film" was published and used in the first semester of 2020. The multiple-choice evaluation showed that students were generally satisfied with the "Fashion & Film" class.

Global climate change brings environmental quality sensitivity, especially in developed countries. Developed countries use non-renewable energy sources intensively both in their own countries and in other countries, they make productions that cause an enormous rate of increase in CO2 emissions and unsustainable environmental costs. This has increased the interest in environmentally friendly alternative energy sources. The aim of this study is to investigate the impact of nuclear energy consumption and technological innovation on environmental quality in G7 countries using annual data over the period 1970-2015. The Panel Threshold Regression Model was used for the analysis. Empirical findings have indicated that the relationship between nuclear energy consumption and carbon emissions differs according to innovation for nuclear power plants. It was also concluded that nuclear energy consumption reduces carbon emissions more after a certain level of innovation. This result shows that the increase in innovative technologies for nuclear power plants not only increases energy efficiency but also contributes positively to environmental quality.
Recent global warming to the promotion of electric vehicles (EV), plug-in hybrid (PEV), including the next generation of cars and solar power, wind power and other renewable energy, and next-generation power grid (smart grid) are getting attention. In addition, the system utilizes the battery life in the industry and the convenience of a variety of social systems, economics, environmental impact, and the inherent potential to change significantly, and you can not walk into a next-generation industrial strategy and the need increases more and more present, and its early commercialization In order to do this, as well as a key energy source, the battery charger for charging efficiency technologies is essential. In this paper, fast charge multiple battery modules and optional modules that can charge distribution charge will be introduced.

The paper describes some of the challenges that face the control of nonlinear interconnected power systems. The challenges include the selection of appropriate control and information structures that could range from a completely decentralized to a fully centralized structure. Once a structure is proven to be feasible, the effectiveness of control signals needs to be assessed. Analytical tools are derived for this purpose in the first part of the paper, and they are illustrated with a case study that involves the design of a damping decentralized controller using a Thyristor Controlled Series Compensation device. The second part of the paper deals with the load following and tracking problem through automatic generation control for a system that has been re-structured or deregulated. This problem can be solved using a completely decentralized scheme. It is solved here using fuzzy rules and with an emphasis on compliance with NERC's standards and reduction of wear and tear of the equipment. It is illustrated with a test system that has three interconnected control areas. Finally, comments on the economics of control and the author's vision are presented.
