순시무효전력을 이용하여 추정속도를 보상한 영구자석 동기전동기의 센세리스 속도 제어 (A Sensorless Speed Control of a Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor that the Estimated Speed is Compensated by using an Instantaneous Reactive Power)

  • This paper proposes a new speed sensorless control method of a permanent magnet synchronous motor using an instantaneous reactive power. In the proposed algorithm, the line currents are estimated by a observer and the estimated speed can be yielded from the voltage equation because the information of speed is included in back emf. But the speed estimation error between the estimated and the real speeds is occured by errors due to measuring the motor parameters and sensing the line current and the input voltage. To minimize the speed estimation error, the estimated speed is compensated by using an instantaneous reactive power. In this paper, the proposed algorithm is not affected by mechanical motor parameters because the mechanical equation is not used. The effectiveness of algorithm is confirmed by the experiments.

  • 일반적으로 가전기기에서는 재료비와 사용상 제약으로 인해 저가격의 위치센서 또는 센서리스 제어 방법을 사용한다. 기존의 센서리스 기어 방법을 수행할 때 속도와 부하의 변화에 따라 고정자 저항이나 역기전력 상수가 변한다. 따라서, 전동기의 제정수의 변화로 인하여 센서리스 제어시에 위치오차가 발생하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 2개의 홀센서를 사용하여 영구자석형 동기전동기의 센서리스 제어시 발생하게 되는 위치오차를 보상하는 방법을 제안하였다.

  • We propose a method to improve repeatability positioning precision of a linear pulse motor. By using this method the systematic error which may make the precision worse can be suppressed easily. And also we show that Power OP-Amp drive system enables the accidental error to be suppressed in comparison with PWM control drive system using IGBT inverter. As a result of the suppression of systematic and accidental error, improved performance of a linear pulse motor with repetitive positioning control is shown by experimental results.

Elimination of the State-of-Charge Errors for Distributed Battery Energy Storage Devices in Islanded Droop-controlled Microgrids

  • Battery energy storage devices (ESDs) have become more and more commonplace to maintain the stability of islanded power systems. Considering the limitation in inverter capacity and the requirement of flexibility in the ESD, the droop control was implemented in paralleled ESDs for higher capacity and autonomous operation. Under the conventional droop control, state-of-charge (SoC) errors between paralleled ESDs is inevitable in the discharging operation. Thus, some ESDs cease operation earlier than expected. This paper proposes an adaptive accelerating parameter to improve the performance of the SoC error eliminating droop controller under the constraints of a microgrid. The SoC of a battery ESD is employed in the active power droop coefficient, which could eliminate the SoC error during the discharging process. In addition, to expedite the process of SoC error elimination, an adaptive accelerating parameter is dedicated to weaken the adverse effect of the constraints due to the requirement of the system running. Moreover, the stability and feasibility of the proposed control strategy are confirmed by small-signal analysis. The effectiveness of the control scheme is validated by simulation and experiment results.

An Improved Stationary Frame-based Digital Current Control Scheme for a PM Synchronous Motor

  • An improved stationary frame-based digital current control technique for a permanent magnet(PM) synchronous motor is presented. Generally, the stationary frame current controller is known to provide the advantage of a simple implementation. However, there are some unavoidable limitations such as a steady-state error and a phase delay in the steady-state. On the other hand, in the synchronous frame current regulator the regulated currents are dc quantities and a zero steady-state error can be obtained through the integral control. However, the need to transform the signals between the stationary and synchronous frames makes the implementation of a synchronous frame regulator complex. Although the PI controller in the stationary frame gives a steady-state error and a phase delay, the control performance can be greatly improved by employing the exact decoupling control inputs for the back EMF., resulting in an ideal steady-state control characteristics irrespective of an operating condition as in the synchronous PI decoupling controller. However, its steady-state response may be degraded due to the inexact cancellation inputs under the parameter variations. To improve the control performance in the stationary frame, the disturbance is estimated using the time delay control. The proposed scheme is implemented on a PM synchronous motor using DSP TMS320C31 and the effectiveness is verified through the comparative simulations and experiments.

원자력 시설에서의 인적 오류 발생 최소화를 위한 인간공학적 단기대책수립에 관한 연구 (Short-Term Human Factors Engineering Measures for Minimizing Human Error in Nuclear Power Facilities)

  • The objective of this study is to develop short-term prevention measures for minimizing possible human error in nuclear power facilities. To accomplish this objective, a group of subject matter experts (SMEs) were formed, which is consisting of those from regulatory bodies, academia, industries and research institutes. Prevention measures were established for urgent execution in nuclear power facilities on a short-term basis. This study suggests short-term measures for reducing human error on three different areas; (1) strengthening worker management, (2) enhancing workplace environments and working methods, and (3) improving the technologies regulating human factors. Under the leadership of the Ministry of Science and Technology, these short-term measures will be pursued and implemented systematically by utility and regulatory agencies. The details of prevention measures are presented and discussed.

채널추정 에러와 다중 전송률 서비스를 고려한 다수 개의 엑세스포인트 전송전력제어 알고리즘 (Multi-Access Points Transmit Power Control Algorithm in Consideration of the Channel Estimation Error and the Multi Rate Service)

  • 본 연구에서는 채널추정 에러와 다중 전송률 서비스를 고려하여 다중 엑세스포인트 전송전력제어 알고리즘을 제안한다. 실제 통신시스템에서는 1) 채널추정을 위해 사용하는 파일럿심볼의 갯수가 제한적이기 때문에, 수신단에서 채널추정이 완전하지 않으며, 2) 다중 전송률 서비스가 지원된다. 먼저, 제안하는 알고리즘이 다중 전송률 서비스 환경에서도 유일한 최소전력에 수렴함이 보장됨을 이론적으로 증명한다. 제안하는 전송전력제어 알고리즘은 하나의 내부루프와 하나의 외부루프로 구성된다. 실험결과를 통해 1) 내부루프 알고리즘은 전송전력 레벨의 수렴과 다중 전송률 서비스를 보장하고, 2) 외부루프 알고리즘은 채널추정 에러를 보상할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

  • Energy conversion systems such as power inverters and converters are basically significant in establishing photovoltaic power systems to enhance power effectiveness. This paper proposes a new converter control method by using the Lyapunov redesign approach. We construct the proposed control mechanism linearly composed of nominal control and auxiliary control laws. The former is generally designed through a well-known power electronic technology and the latter is implemented to compensate real-time control error due to uncertain natures of converter systems in practice. For realizing adaptive control capability in the proposed control mechanism, a control parameter vector is estimated by utilizing a steepest descent based optimization method. We carry out numerical simulation with Matlab(c) software to demonstrate reliability of the proposed converter control system and conduct a comparative study to prove its superiority by comparing with a generic converter control methodology.

  • In this paper the performance of communication system in the electrical power line using error correcting codes is analysed. The BCH codes and interleaved code are to be used for correcting burst and random errors in the power line channels. The data rate of 2400 bps and the carrier frequency of 12KHz are assumed. Actual power line noise is recorded and simulated in the BPSK PLC system model.

  • This paper proposes a simple MPPT control scheme of a based Current-Control-Loop system that can be obtains a lot of advantage to compare with another digital control method, P&O(Perturbation and Observation) and IncCond(Incremental Conductance) algorithm, that is applied mostly a PV system. An existent method is needed an expensive processor such as DSP that calculated to change the measure power of a using current and voltage sensor at the once. Therefore, it is applied a small home power generation system that required many expenses. But, a proposed method is easy to solve the cost reduction and power unbalance Problems that it is used by control scheme to limit error of a current control of common sensor. This proposed algorithm had verified through a simulation and an experiment results on battery charger using PIC that is the microprocessor of a low price.
