  • This paper proposes a simple MPPT control scheme of a Current-Control-Loop Error system Based that can be obtains a lot of advantage to compare with another digital control method, P&O and IncCond algorithm, that is applied mostly a PV system. An existent method is needed an expensive processor such as DSP that calculated to change the measure power of a using current and voltage sensor at the once. Therefore, it is applied a small home power generation system that required many expenses. But, a proposed method is easy to solve the cost reduction and power unbalance problems that it is used by control scheme to limit error of a current control of common sensor. This proposed algorithm had verified through a simulation and an experiment on battery charger using PIC that is the microprocessor of a low price.

  • The once-through steam generator used in the small modular reactor needs to consider the stability of the outlet steam pressure and steam superheat of the secondary circuit to achieve better operating efficiency. For this reason, this paper designs a controllable operation scheme for the steam pressure and superheat of the small reactor once-through steam generator. On this basis, designs a variable universe fuzzy controller, first, design the fuzzy control rules to make the controller adjust the PI controller parameters according to the change of the error; secondly, use the domain adjustment factor to further subdivide the input and output domain of the fuzzy controller according to the change of the error, to improve the system control performance. The simulation results show that the operation scheme proposed in this paper have better system performance than the original scheme of the small reactor system, and controller proposed in this paper have better control performance than traditional PI controller and fuzzy PI controller, what's more, the designed control system also showed better anti-disturbance performance in lifting experiment between 100% and 80% working conditions. Finally, the experimental platform formed by connecting the digital small reactor with Matlab/Simulink through OPC(OLE for Process Control) communication technology also verified the feasibility of the proposed scheme.

  • In wireless sensor network which uses limited battery, power consumption is very important factor for the survivality of the system. By using low-power communication to reduce power consumption, error rate is increased in typical conditions. This paper analyzes power consumption of specific error control coding (ECC) implementations. With identical link quality, ECC provides coding gain which save the power for transmission at the cost of computing power. In sensor node, transmit power is higher than computing power of Micro Controller Unit (MCU). In this paper, Viterbi algerian is applied to the low-transmit-power sensor networks in terms of network power consumption. Practically, Viterbi algorithm presents 20% of reduction of re-transmission in compared with Auto Repeat Request (ARQ) system. Furthermore, it is observed that network power consumption is decreased by almost 18%.

  • In this paper, a fast transient buck converter using hysteresis PWM control is presented. The proposed control method is based on hysteresis control of the capacitor C voltage. This offers a faster transient response to meet the challenges of the power supply requirements for fast dynamic input and load changes. It also provides better stability and solves the compensation problem of the error amplifier in conversional voltage PWM control. Finally, the steady-state and dynamic operation of the proposed control method are analyzed and verified by simulation and experimental results.

  • The stability of PWM rectifiers with a deadbeat current controller is seriously influenced by computation time delays and low-pass filters inserted into the current-sampling circuit. Predictive current control is often adopted to solve this problem. However, grid current predictive precision is affected by many factors such as grid voltage estimated errors, plant model mismatches, dead time and so on. In addition, the predictive current error aggravates the grid current distortion. To improve the grid current predictive precision, an improved deadbeat current controller with a repetitive-control-based observer to predict the grid current is proposed in this paper. The design principle of the proposed observer is given and its stability is discussed. The predictive performance of the observer is also analyzed in the frequency domain. It is shown that the grid predictive error can be decreased with the proposed method in the related bode diagrams. Experimental results show that the proposed method can minimize the current predictive error, improve the current loop robustness and reduce the grid current THD of PWM rectifiers.

  • In vector-controlled drive systems, the current measurement offset error causes unwanted torque ripple, resulting in speed and torque control performance degradation. The current measurement offset error is caused by various factors, including thermal drift. This study proposes a simple DC offset error compensation method for a surface permanent magnet motor based on a disturbance observer. The disturbance observer is designed in the stationary reference frame. The proposed method uses only the measured current and machine parameters without additional hardware. The effect of parameter variations is analyzed, and the performance of the current measurement offset error compensation method is validated using simulation and experimental results.

  • In this paper a new excitation control scheme that improves the transient stability of multi machine power systems is proposed. To this end the backstepping technique is used to transform the system to a suitable partially linear form. On this system, a combination of both feedback linearization and adaptive control techniques are used to confront the nonlinearities. As shown in the paper, the resulting nonlinear control law ensures the uniform boundedness of all the state and estimated variables. Furthermore, it is proven that all the error variables are uniformly ultimately bounded (DUB) i.e. they converge to arbitrarily selected small regions around zero in finite-time. Simulation tests on a two generator infinite bus power system demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed control.

  • For the requirement of accurate tracking control and the safety of physical human-robot interaction, torque control is basically desirable for humanoid robots. Because of the complexity of humanoid robot dynamics, the TDC (time-delay control) is practical because it does not require a dynamic model. However, there occurs a considerable error due to discontinuous non-linearities. To solve this problem, the TDC-FLC (fuzzy logic compensator) is applied to humanoid robots. The applied controller contains three factors: a TDE (time-delay estimation) factor, a desired error dynamic factor, and FLC to suppress the TDE error. The TDC-FLC is easy to execute because it does not require complicated humanoid dynamic calculations and the heuristic fuzzy control rules are intuitive. TDC-FLC is implemented on the whole body of a humanoid, not on biped legs even though it is performed by a virtual humanoid robot. The simulation results show the validity of the TDC-FLC for humanoid robots.

  • This paper suggests local voltage control method to achieve coordinative control between STATCOM and other reactive power resources, such as Shunt Capacitor/Reactors and OLTC. Voltage/Reactive power control has various difficult aspects to control because of analysis and system dynamics error. This control method suggests practical algorithm regarding system voltage and reactive power status which is easy to implement in substation basis. In normal status, STATCOM-Shunts-OOTC are in operation. In emergency status, OLTC is locked. This algorithm is tested and verified in EMTDC.
