Analisys about the Earth Fault Characteristics in the Wireless Power Transmission System of the Electric Vehicle (무선충전 전기자동차 전력공급장치에서의 지락사고 특성 분석)

  • In this paper, the risk of electric shock is analyzed through analysis for characterization of potential distribution analysis and ground fault current analysis near the area where there are occurred a ground fault at electric vehicle wireless charging system using 20kHz. Studies for electric vehicle wireless charging system are in the works for development of efficiency increase, pickup shape design and communication module as a fundamental research step. But the research related to electrical safety and is still scarce state so that more studies are necessary to commercialize. As a result of analysis, it is verified that induced voltage is arisen more up to 45V near the a area of accident during ground fault and fault current has been maintained continuously without clearing fault condition by operating characteristics for circuit breaker and inverter.

  • Because on the high-tension underground distribution line of an electric railway high voltage XLPE Cable two or three circuits between railway stations with a standard as receiving transformer facilities are established at a $30km{\sim}50km$ interval, reactive power in which the phase of a current is larger than that of a voltage is supplied when trains are not working, so when there are no loading or low loading as night. Due to the long-distance trend of the underground distribution system on an alternating current railway distribution line, the terminal voltage of a transformer is over the standard voltage, and after all, commercial cycle overvoltage is continued. To solve this problem, the shunt reactor is installed in middle of power distribution lines to maintain receiver voltage meted under the allowance regulation through control of the reactive power. Also, in case that the thickness of single cable is over $60mm^2$ and length of line is about over 30km, a circuit breaker is broken by shorting shunt ability of charging current in excess of shunt current(31.5A.rms). Therefore, this thesis presents installing the location of shunt reactor for quantitative analysis by using optimum algorism for compensation and control of the charging current.

  • For evaluation of partial discharge performances of electrical power appratus such as Insulator, circuit breaker and transformer and so on, Partial discharge measuring system(ERA) consisted of PD detector including amplifier, coupling capacitor, PD calibrator and voltage divider are used PD measuring system is very important factor which affect the test result and show reliability of test result in test laboratory, In this paper, we describe tracebility and uncertainty of PD measuring system in test laboratory based on IEC 60270.

  • DC 전송과 민감 부하가 발달함에 따라 안정적인 전력을 공급하기 위해서 신속한 차단이 가능한 DC 차단기가 요구된다. 이러한 배경으로 본 연구에서는 신속한 차단과 전류 커패시터를 쉽게 재충전할 수 있는 구조가 간단한 새로운 DC SSCB를 제안한다. 제안하는 DC SSCB는 단락사고를 모의하여 시뮬레이션을 통해 동작특성을 검증한다. 본 논문에서 연구한 DC SSCB는 향후 DC 그리드 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 활용될 것으로 기대된다.

  • To apply the superconducting fault current limiter(SFCL) into a power system, the analysis for its recovery characteristics as well as the consideration for its cooperation with other protecting machine such as a circuit breaker is required. The recovery characteristics of the flux-lock type SFCL like its current limiting characteristics are dependent on the winding direction of two coils. In this paper, the experiments of the current limiting and the recovery characteristics of the flux-lock type SFCL with YBCO thin film were performed. From the analysis on the experimental results due to the winding direction of two coils, the limited fault current in case of the additive polarity winding was observed to be lower than that for the case of the subtractive polarity winding. In addition, the recovery time was found to be faster in case of the additive polarity winding compared to the subtractive polarity winding.

  • The purpose of the circuit breaker on power system is to disconnect the faulty part from the system and to maintain the integrity of the system. With switching overvoltages are generated. When the system voltages become higher, switching overvoltage is important factor in insulation co-ordination. Since the no-load reclosing overvoltage with inductive source is severe, this paper deals with the reclosing overvoltage and the effect of closing resistor. This reclosing overvoltage of 27-bus model system with and without closing resistor is analyzed by using EMTP (Electro-Magnetic Transients Program) for both deterministic and Stochastic model.

  • This paper deal with the study of the phenomenon of Ferroresonance in the 170kV Gas Insulated Switchgear(GIS). The Electromagnetic Transient Program(EMTP) was used to simulate the phenomenon of Ferroresonance and conducted the study of the transient over-voltage. An example power system, used in this study, have an accident that the ferroresonance phenomenon happens at MOFVT(Voltage Transformer). The simulation results notices that the secondary part of VT has to be connected by ferroresonance suppressor when the circuit breaker connected with grading capacitor is switched off.

  • 최근 들어 디지털 제품의 급증으로 인해 직류를 사용하는 부하가 증가하고, 직류 배전망에 대한 관심이 높아 지고 있다. 하지만 직류는 교류와 다르게 직류 배전시 부하의 단락 사고가 발생하면 지속적으로 아크전압이 발생하는 문제가 있기 때문에 차단이 어렵다. 인체의 안전과 전력설비 및 기기의 안전성을 확보하기 위해서는 고장전류로부터 계통을 보호하기 위한 차단기술이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 효과 적인 직류 차단에 대하여 실험적으로 연구하였다.

Transient Voltage's Breaking by Development of High Performance SPD (고성능 서지보호기 개발을 통한 과도 이상전압 차단)

  • In this paper, we have developed high performance SPD(surge protective device) and evaluated the characteristics in comparison with typical SPD used in the inside and outside of the country. The new SPD was composed of MOV(metal oxide varistor), GDT(gas discharge tube) and impedance such as resistors, capacitors or varistors. To estimate operating the characteristic of the SPD which was developed, it was measured surge voltage caused by fault current or surge according to IEC 61000-4-5. As a result it was found that the power supply was cut off by high performance SPD when caused a short-circuit. In addition we could know that it could prevent ELB(earth leakage breaker)'s malfunction caused by surge.
