불균형 자세 예방용 IMU 내장 넥밴드를 이용한 앉은 자세 분류 (Classification of Sitting Position by IMU Built in Neckband for Preventing Imbalance Posture)

  • 본 논문에서는 IMU(inertial measurement unit)의 데이터를 이용하여 사람의 앉은 자세를 분류하는 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 알고리즘은 IMU의 데이터를 주성분 분석법(principle component analysis: PCA)을 이용하여 특징 벡터를 3개로 축소시켰고, RBF(radial basis function) 커널을 적용한 서포트 벡터 머신(support vector machine: SVM)을 이용하여 자세를 분류하였다. 데이터의 측정을 위하여 건강한 성인 3명을 대상으로 실험을 실시하였고, 데이터의 수집을 위하여 넥밴드 형태의 이어폰에 IMU를 내장한 장치를 개발하여 착용하였다. 피험자는 각각 neutral position, smartphoning, writing의 세 가지 앉은 자세에 대하여 실험을 진행하였다. 실험 결과 제안하는 PCA-SVM 알고리즘은 특징 벡터의 차원을 25%로 축소시키면서도 95%의 신뢰를 보였다.

통계적 오차보상 기법을 이용한 센서 네트워크에서의 RDOA 측정치 기반의 표적측위 (Stochastic Error Compensation Method for RDOA Based Target Localization in Sensor Network)

  • A recursive linear stochastic error compensation algorithm is newly proposed for target localization in sensor network which provides range difference of arrival(RDOA) measurements. Target localization with RDOA is a well-known nonlinear estimation problem. Since it can not solve with a closed-form solution, the numerical methods sensitive to initial guess are often used before. As an alternative solution, a pseudo-linear estimation scheme has been used but the auto-correlation of measurement noise still causes unacceptable estimation errors under low SNR conditions. To overcome these problems, a stochastic error compensation method is applied for the target localization problem under the assumption that a priori stochastic information of RDOA measurement noise is available. Apart from the existing methods, the proposed linear target localization scheme can recursively compute the target position estimate which converges to true position in probability. In addition, it is remarked that the suggested algorithm has a structural reconciliation with the existing one such as linear correction least squares(LCLS) estimator. Through the computer simulations, it is demonstrated that the proposed method shows better performance than the LCLS method and guarantees fast and reliable convergence characteristic compared to the nonlinear method.

KOSPI 예측을 위한 NEWFM 기반의 특징입력 및 퍼지규칙 추출 (Extracting Input Features and Fuzzy Rules for forecasting KOSPI Stock Index Based on NEWFM)

  • 본 논문은 가중 퍼지소속함수 기반 신경망(Neural Network with Weighted Fuzzy Membership Functions, NEWFM)을 사용하여 생성된 퍼지규칙과 비중복면적 분산 측정법에 의해 추출된 최소의 특징입력을 이용하여, 1일 후의 KOSPI 예측을 하는 방안을 제안하고 있다. NEWFM은 KOSPI의 최근 32일 동안의 CPPn,m(Current Price Position of day n for n-1 to n-m days)을 이용하여 1일 후의 KOSPI 상승과 하락을 예측한다. 특징입력으로써 CPPn,m과 최근 32일간의 CPPn,m을 웨이블릿 변환한 38개의 계수들 중 비중복면적 분산 측정법을 적용하여 추출된 5개의 계수가 사용되었다. 제안된 방법으로 1991년부터 1998년까지의 실험군을 사용한 결과 평균 67.62%의 예측율을 나타내었다.

  • This paper provides the foundation to settle the new paradigm in the beauty industry service quality by confirming the beauty industry service quality influence on customer satisfaction and loyalty through the actual verification. The scale of this study for measurement of beauty industry service quality is confirmed through the certification of reliability and feasibility with questionnaire investigation after confirmation of contents and preliminary feasibility. The dimensions and items for measurement of beauty industry service quality are selected with service ability(6), tangible(4), responsiveness(3), reliability(2), conveniency(2). And it is confirmed that the level of service quality is changing unlike a beauty-shop facility or cost recognized traditionally as a key factor to occupy the higher position in competition of beauty-shops. This thesis presents the important point of current issue about kinds of strategy which beauty industry should establish in providing the beauty industry service for occupying higher position in keen competition.

소음원 대역폭과 측정잡음의 상관관계를 고려한 소음원 탐지기법 (Sound Source Detection Technique Considering the Effects of Source Bandwidth and Measurement Noise Correlation)

  • 소음원 위치와 방위를 규명하기 위해 다양한 배열처리기술이 발전되어 왔다. 배열처리기술의 기본은 두 개의 수신센서에 수신된 신호의 시간차를 이용하여 소음원의 위치와 방위를 구하는 것으로 응용분야나 신호처리방법에 따라 고유의 특성을 갖는 빔형성기법, 상관함수기법 및 NAH (Near-Field Acoustic Holography) 등이 있다 본 연구에서는 이러한 기법들 중 광대역 소음원 탐지에 적용되는 상관함수기법을 채택하여 소음원의 대역폭과 측정 잡음원 간의 상관 관계가 위치나 방위 탐지 정확도에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 효과적인 소음원 탐지기법을 제안한다. 본 연구에서 채택한 배열의 기하학적 형상은 위치나 방위의 3차원적 모호성을 없애기 위한 3차원 비선형이며 제안된 기법의 타당성은 수치모의 실험 및 실제 실험으로 검증되었다.

생체 임피던스를 이용한 인체 하지운동 출을 위한 최적 전극위치 선정 (Optimal Electrode Selection for Detection of Human Leg Movement Using Bio-Impedance)

  • This paper describes the possibility of analyzing gait pattern from the changes of the lower leg electrical impedance. This impedance was measured by the four-electrode method. Two current electrodes were applied to the thigh, knee, and foot., and two potential electrodes were applied to the lateral, medial, and posterior position of human leg. The correlation coefficients of the joint angle and the impedance change from human leg movement was obtained using a electrogoniometer and 4ch impedance measurement system developed in this study. We found the optimal electrode position for knee and ankle joint movements based on high correlation coefficient, least interference, and maximum magnitude of impedance change. The correlation coefficients of the ankle, knee, and the hip movements were -0.913, 0.984 and 0.823, respectively. From such features of the human leg impedance, it has been made clear that different movement patterns exhibit different impedance patterns and impedance level. This system showed feasibility that lower leg movement could be easily measured by impedance measurement system with a few skin-electrodes.

영상처리를 이용한 안면신경마비 평가시스템 개발 (Development of Facial Nerve Palsy Grading System with Image Processing)

  • Objectives The objective and universal grading system for the facial nerve palsy is needed to the objectification of treatment in Oriental medicine. In this study, the facial nerve palsy grading was developed with combination of image processing technique and Nottingham scale. Methods The developed system is composed of measurement part, image processing part, facial nerve palsy evaluation part, and display part. With the video data recorded by webcam at measurement part, the positions of marker were measured at image processing part. In evaluation part, Nottingham scales were calculated in four different facial expressions with measured marker position. The video of facial movement, time history of marker position, and Nottingham scale were displayed in display part. Results & Conclusion The developed system was applied to a normal subject and a abnormal subject with facial nerve palsy. The left-right difference of Nottingham scores was large in the abnormal compared with the normal. In normal case, the change of the length between supraorbital point and infraorbital point was larger than that of the length between lateral canthus and angle of mouth. The abnormal case showed an opposite result. The developed system showed the possibilities of the objective and universal grading system for the facial nerve palsy.

피치운동을 이용한 정밀 다위치 정렬기법 개발 (Development of the Precise Multi-Position Alignment Method using a Pitch Motion)

  • In Strapdown Inertial Navigation System, alignment accuracy is the most important factor to determine the performance of navigation. However by an existing self-alignment method, it takes a long time to acquire the alignment accuracy that we want. So, to attain the desired alignment accuracy in as little as $\bigcirc$ minutes, we have developed the precise multi-position alignment method. In this paper, it is proposed a inertial measurement matching transfer alignment method among alignment methods to minimize the alignment error in a short time. It is based on a mixed velocity-DCM matching method be suitable to the operating environment of vertical launching system. The compensation methods to reduce misalign error, especially azimuth angle error incurred by measurement time-delay error and body flexure error are analyzed and evaluated with simulation. This simulation results are finally confirmed by experimentations using FMS(Flight Motion Simulator) in Lab and the integration test to follow the fire control mission.

A Simulation Based Assessment for Evaluating the Effectiveness of Quasi-Zenith Satellite System

  • Since the operation of the first satellite-based navigation service, satellite positioning has played an increasing role in both surveying and geodesy, and has become an indispensable tool for precise relative positioning. However, in some situations, e.g. at a low angle of elevation, the use of satellites for navigation is seriously restricted because obstacles like buildings and mountains can block signals. As a mean to resolve this problem, the quasi-zenith satellite system has been proposed as a next-generation satellite navigation system. Quasi-zenith satellite is a system which simultaneously deploys several satellites in a quasi-zenith geostationary orbit so that one of the satellites always stay close to the zenith if viewed from a specific point on the ground of East Asia. Thus, if a position measurement function compatible with CPS is installed in the quasi-zenith and stationary satellites, and these satellites are utilized together with the CPS, four satellites can be accessed simultaneously nearly all day long and a substantial improvement in position measurement, especially in metropolitan areas, can be achieved. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the effectiveness of quasi-zenith satellite system on positioning accuracy improvement through simulation by using precise orbital information of the satellites and a three-dimensional digital map. Through this developed simulation system, it is possible to calculate the number of simultaneously visible satellites and available area for positioning without the need of actual observation. Furthermore, this system can calculate the Dilution Of Precision (DOP) and the error distribution.

Identification of structural displacements utilizing concurrent robotic total station and GNSS measurements

  • Monitoring large structures is a significant issue involving public health on which new studies are constantly carried out. Although the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) is the most preferable method for measuring structural displacements, total stations, one of the classical geodetic instruments, are the first devices that come to mind in cases that require complementary usage and auxiliary measurement methods. In this study, the relative displacements of the structural movements of a tower were determined using robotic total stations (RTS) and GNSS. Two GNSS receivers and two RTS observations were carried out simultaneously for 10 hours under normal weather conditions. The spectral analysis of the GNSS data was performed using fast Fourier transform (FFT), and while the dominant modal frequencies were determined, the total station data were balanced with the least-squares technique, and the position and position errors were calculated for each measurement epoch. It has been observed that low-frequency structural movements can be determined by both methods. This result shows that total station measurements are a helpful alternative method for monitoring large structures in situations where measurements are not possible due to the basic handicaps of GNSS or where it is necessary to determine displacements with short observations.
