Recently, there have been a lot of researches on the whole face replacement system, but it is not easy to obtain stable results due to various attitudes, angles and facial diversity. To produce a natural synthesis result when replacing the face shown in the video image, technologies such as face area detection, feature extraction, face alignment, face area segmentation, 3D attitude adjustment and facial transposition should all operate at a precise level. And each technology must be able to be interdependently combined. The results of our analysis show that the difficulty of implementing the technology and contribution to the system in facial replacement technology has increased in facial feature point extraction and facial alignment technology. On the other hand, the difficulty of the facial transposition technique and the three-dimensional posture adjustment technique were low, but showed the need for development. In this paper, we propose four facial replacement models such as 2-D Faceswap, OpenPose, Deekfake, and Cycle GAN, which are suitable for the Cox platform. These models have the following features; i.e. these models include a suitable model for front face pose image conversion, face pose image with active body movement, and face movement with right and left side by 15 degrees, Generative Adversarial Network.
Recently, deep learning-based image recognition systems have been adopted to various surveillance environments, but most of them are still picture-type object recognition methods, which are insufficient for the long term temporal analysis and high-dimensional situation management. Therefore, we propose a method recognizing the specific dangerous situation generated by human in real-time, and utilizing deep learning-based object analysis techniques. The proposed method uses deep learning-based object detection and tracking algorithms in order to recognize the situations such as 'trespassing', 'loitering', and so on. In addition, human's joint pose data are extracted and analyzed for the emergent awareness function such as 'falling down' to notify not only in the security but also in the emergency environmental utilizations.

The analysis of relative pose(position and rotation) between stereo cameras is very important to determine the solution that provides three-dimensional information for an arbitrary moving target with respect to robot-end. In the space of free camera-model, the rotational parameters act on non-linear factors acquiring a kinematical solution. In this paper the general solution of active stereo that gives a three-dimensional pose of moving object is presented. The focus is to achieve a derivation of linear equation between a robot′s end and active stereo cameras. The equation is consistently derived from the vector of quaternion space. The calibration of cameras is also derived in this space. Computer simulation and the results of error-sensitivity demonstrate the successful operation of the solution. The suggested solution can also be applied to the more complex real time tracking and quite general and are applicable in various stereo fields.

This paper presents a real-time indoor location and pose estimation method that utilizes simple artificial markers and image analysis techniques for the purpose of warehouse automation. The conventional indoor localization methods cannot work robustly in warehouses where severe environmental changes usually occur due to the movement of stocked goods. To overcome this problem, the proposed framework places artificial markers having different interior pattern on the predefined position of the warehouse floor. The proposed algorithm obtains marker candidate regions from a captured image by a simple binarization and labeling procedure. Then it extracts maker interior pattern information from each candidate region in order to decide whether the candidate region is a true marker or not. The extracted interior pattern information and the outer boundary of the marker are used to estimate location and heading angle of the localization system. Experimental results show that the proposed localization method can provide high performance which is almost equivalent to that of the conventional method using an expensive LIDAR sensor and AMCL algorithm.
Robust motion estimation for human-computer interactions played an important role in a novel method of interaction with electronic devices. Existing pose estimation using a monocular camera employs either ego-motion or exo-motion, both of which are not sufficiently accurate for estimating fine motion due to the motion ambiguity of rotation and translation. This paper presents a hybrid vision-based pose estimation method for fine-motion estimation that is specifically capable of extracting human body motion accurately. The method uses an ego-camera attached to a point of interest and exo-cameras located in the immediate surroundings of the point of interest. The exo-cameras can easily track the exact position of the point of interest by triangulation. Once the position is given, the ego-camera can accurately obtain the point of interest's orientation. In this way, any ambiguity between rotation and translation is eliminated and the exact motion of a target point (that is, ego-camera) can then be obtained. The proposed method is expected to provide a practical solution for robustly estimating fine motion in a non-contact manner, such as in interactive games that are designed for special purposes (for example, remote rehabilitation care systems).
Face tracking and recognition are difficult problems because the face is a non-rigid object. The main reasons for the failure to track and recognize the faces are the changes of a face pose and environmental illumination. To solve these problems, we propose a nonlinear manifold framework for the face pose and the face illumination normalization processing. Specifically, to track and recognize a face on the video that has various pose variations, we approximate a face pose density to single Gaussian density by PCA(Principle Component Analysis) using images sampled from training video sequences and then construct the GMM(Gaussian Mixture Model) for each person. To solve the illumination problem for the face tracking and recognition, we decompose the face images into the reflectance and the illuminance using the SSR(Single Scale Retinex) model. To obtain the normalized reflectance, the reflectance is rescaled by histogram equalization on the defined range. We newly approximate the illuminance by the trained manifold since the illuminance has almost variations by illumination. By combining these two features into our manifold framework, we derived the efficient face tracking and recognition results on indoor and outdoor video. To improve the video based tracking results, we update the weights of each face pose density at each frame by the tracking result at the previous frame using EM algorithm. Our experimental results show that our method is more efficient than other methods.

In typical face recognition systems, the frontal view of face is preferred to reduce the complexity of the recognition. Thus individuals may be required to stare into the camera, or the camera should be located so that the frontal images are acquired easily. However these constraints severely restrict the adoption of face recognition to wide applications. To alleviate this problem, in this paper, we address the problem of tracking and recognizing faces in video captured with no environmental control. The face tracker extracts a sequence of the angle/size normalized face images using IVT (Incremental Visual Tracking) algorithm that is known to be robust to changes in appearance. Since no constraints have been imposed between the face direction and the video camera, there will be various poses in face images. Thus the pose is identified using a PCA (Principal Component Analysis)-based pose classifier, and only the pose-matched face images are used to identify person against the pre-built face DB with 5-poses. For face recognition, PCA, (2D)PCA, and $(2D)^2PCA$ algorithms have been tested to compute the recognition rate and the execution time.
This paper proposes a new method for a hierarchical analysis of human gait by dividing the motion into gait direction and gait posture using the tool of dynamic Bayesian network. Based on Factorial HMM (FHMM), which is a type of DBN, we design the Gait Motion Decoder (GMD) in a circular architecture of state space, which fits nicely to human walking behavior. Most previous studies focused on human identification and were limited in certain viewing angles and forwent modeling of the walking action. But this work makes an explicit and separate modeling of pedestrian pose and posture to recognize gait direction and detect orientation change. Experimental results showed 96.5% in pose identification. The work is among the first efforts to analyze gait motions into gait pose and gait posture, and it could be applied to a broad class of human activities in a number of situations.
