휴대용 열차접근경보장치에 적용되는 GPS모드와 RF모드의 거리 및 속도 분석 (Analysis to distance and train speed of portable alarm system using GPS and RF mode)

  • A portable train approaching warning device can be used in order to reduce accidents of the workers on the rail, who are working without recognizing the approaching train, and to secure the safety of the workers. It can be installed in the train so that workers can recognize the approaching train. However, it is not easy to identify the location of the train precisely. In this study GPS and RF devices, which are used to calculate the location of the train were reviewed, to see how much error tolerance they have in the field, to analyze the distance for normal transmission between the receiver and transmitter, to verify the conformity of the portable train approaching warning device developed as a prototype model to the current rail system, and to provide the related fields with the analysis results to improve the existing or application technology. Additionally, test methods to locate the train were introduced and each test result was compared and analyzed.

  • Rail is one of major track components for train service, it should be provided in the condition of flat and smooth driving aspect. Therefore, it is inevitable that there would be the field welding to integrate on CWR(Continuous Welded Rail) removing rail joint in these days. It is high chance to be some rail surface irregularity due to the limitation on the status of work condition If a high speed train runs on the rail surface irregularity in the welding part, big impact load comes to pass on that, so track irregularity cycle is reduced, therefore track maintenance cost can be increased. this paper has analyzed wheel load variation according to removing the rail surface irregularity using portable grinding machine in the high speed line. The result measured before and after in the field is decreased about 9.26% on the wheel load variation.

  • Track substructure(ballast, subgrade) should have sufficient strength and adequate stiffness to fully support track superstructure(rail, fastener, sleeper). Vertical support stiffness of track comes from the sufficient thickness, adequate strength and stiffness of material of substructure layers. Since the vertical support stiffness of track substructure is closely related with the track geometry, the evaluation of the stiffness is very important to understand the track states. This paper introduces the system, which are composed of Ground Penetrating Radar(GPR), Portable Ballast Sampler(PBS), and Light Falling Weight Deflectometer(LFWD), to evaluate substructure condition and summarizes the field test results performed with the reliable system.

미 군사규격을 적용한 레이더 전력공급용 이동식 컨테이너의 Random Vibration 해석 (Random Vibration Analysis of Portable Power Supply Container for Radar With U.S. Military Standards)

  • In times of war or emergencies, weapon systems, such as radars, must receive stable power. This can be achieved using improved onboard portable power systems made of steel containers. However, a breakdown can occur in the event of random vibration during transportation via a vehicle or train. Electrical-power shortages or restrictions pose a significant threat to security. In this study, Composite Wheeled Vehicle(CWV) data and rail cargo data with Acceleration Spectral Density(ASD), specified in MIL-STD-810H METHOD 514.8, were interpreted as input data of the three-axis random vibration method using ANSYS 19.2. Modal analysis was performed up to 500 Hz, and deformations in modes 1 to 117 were calculated to utilize all ASD data. The maximum equivalent stress in the three-axis direction was obtained using a random vibration analysis. Similarly, the margin of safety was calculated using the derived equivalent stress and material properties. Overall, the analysis verified that the portable container designed for the power supply system satisfied the required vibration demands.

  • 궤도상부(레일, 체결구, 침목)를 완전하게 잘 지지하기 위해서는 궤도하부(도상, 노반)가 충분한 강도를 가지고 균질한 강성을 가져야 한다. 궤도의 수직지지강성은 궤도하부의 상태(세립분 함량, 함수비)에 크게 영향을 받는다. 따라서 궤도의 수직지지강성을 평가하기 위하여 궤도하부의 상태를 평가하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 궤도하부의 상태를 진단할 수 있는 GPR/PBS/LFWD로 구성된 궤도기초상태평가법을 제안하였다. 제안된 궤도기초 상태평가법의 적용성을 평가하기 위하여 실내 실험 및 현장시험을 수행하였다.

  • In this paper, we discussed measurement method of PD (Partial Discharge) of 22.9[kV] cable. Cable rail track laying portable detector that can detect partial discharge of cable connection ashes by on-line done spot way to detect Lemke equipment and high broadcasting CT sensor that use antenna sensor using ICM mounting was explained. Because measurement corona signal is very big, analysis of partial discharge is difficult state, we used connector. It could be attenuated by 2 times. We found out that corona signal which generated on B phase is flowed on A phase and C phase. It could measure that partial discharge of A phase happens actually. We could confirm that partial discharge of about 250 ${\sim}$ 300 [pC] on A phase is dangerous.

  • 최근 휴대용 임베디드(Embedded) 시스템들은 크기는 작아지나 사용자들의 요구를 만족시키기 위해서 여러 가지 복합적인 기능을 내장하고 있다. 복합적인 기능 수행을 하기 위해서는 처리 능력이 뛰어난 프로세서들을 사용해야만 하고 시스템의 크기를 줄이기 위해서 적은 용량의 배터리를 사용하는 것이 일반적이다. 그러므로 시스템을 한번 충전한 후에 사용할 수 있는 배터리 사용 시간(Battery Life Time)은 중요한 문제로 대두되고 있다. 시스템의 배터리 사용 시간을 늘리기 위해서는 효율적인 전원 설계, 기능 수행에 따른 전력 관리 그리고 프로세서의 전압과 프로세서 클럭(Clock)의 주파수를 최적화하는 것이 가장 중요하다. 이를 위해서 본 논문에서는 전력 효율을 예측하여 시스템의 전체적인 전력 효율을 최적화하는 전원 구성을 하였으며 각 기능에 따른 전력 관리를 위해서 음악 파일 재생과 동영상 파일 재생을 위한 마이크로 프로세서를 사용하고 디지털 멀티미디어 방송(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) 시청을 위한 별도의 마이크로 프로세서를 사용함으로써 음악 재생과 동영상 재생 시에는 디지털 멀티미디어 방송시청을 위한 마이크로 프로세서에 전원 공급을 차단함으로써 전력 관리를 최적화한다. 마지막으로 시스템에서 사용되는 프로세서들의 전력 관리를 위해 가변 전압 주파수 스케일링(Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling)을 적용하여 프로세서들 또한 최적화하고 실제 구현된 시스템에 실험 결과들을 통하여 감소된 소비 전력의 결과를 보여준다.

Factors Influencing the Effectiveness of Materials Handling Equipments Supplied in Agriculture

  • Objective: This paper presents the factors influencing the effectiveness of materials handling equipments in agriculture. Background: Agriculture is one of the job categories where work-related musculoskeletal disorders(MSDs) are the most common. Statistics shows that majority of farm workers is exposed to repetitive and forceful body movements, lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling, or carrying heavy materials. In such a working environment, materials handling equipments are required and introduced to assist in the prevention of MSDs and other farm injuries. Method: Examples of materials handling equipments are rail carts, portable lifts, and bale handlers. Contributing factors influencing the effectiveness of materials handling equipments supplied in agriculture were identified based on the lessons learned from previous government-funded ergonomic projects. Results: Contributing factors identified include: (1) forward-looking attitude for the standardization of farming, its environments, and handling equipments, (2) participation of farm members in the process and evaluation of project, (3) leadership of project manager, (4) reinforcement of safety education and training, and (5) project selection and priority of handling equipment. Conclusion: Government-funded research planners, farmers, ergonomists, and farm machine experts are recommended to consider the factors identified when implementing materials handling equipments in agriculture. Application: Actual or potential application of this research includes recommendation for the effective implementation of material materials handling equipments in agricultural sectors.

선박외판 문자 자동용접 시스템의 개발 (Development of a Automatic Welding System for Various Marks on the Hull of Vessels)

  • The letters and marks on the hull of vessels are marked by welding bead or steel plate to resist the corrosion environment. It has done by manual work. So, it cause deterioration of welding quality and process delay and so on. The automated welding device for draft mark has developed partially in the field of shipbuilding. But it can be used for draft mark only. And it has caused a few problems about that workablity and movablity are decreased owing to the size and weight of device. So we developed the automated welding device that can be used for most letters and marks on the hull. It designed to 3 axises mobile robot include to ratoation axis and stand alone type controller with multi GUI base on imbedded windows.

  • 용접 장치 설계 시 고려해야 할 중요한 요소 중의 하나는 용접 궤적과 토치의 간격 오차를 줄이는 것이다. 특히 원호와 직선이 결합된 용접 궤적의 경우는 변곡점에서 오차의 영향이 크게 작용한다. 본 연구의 대상은 선체 블록 내부 탱크와 탱크 사이의 유체(물, 기름 등) 이동을 방지하기 위하여 설치되는 커버플레이트(Cover Plate) 용접으로서, 커버플레이트 원호용접은 위보기, 수직, 아래보기의 3 가지 자세를 동시에 포함한다. 본 연구는 작업 궤적의 각 구간 사이에서 발생하는 토치의 궤적 오차를 최소화할 수 있는 2 축 소형 용접 장치 개발에 관한 것으로서, 원호와 직선 부 사이의 변곡점에서 발생하는 토치 궤적 오차를 최소화하기 위한 구동 메커니즘 도출 과정에 대하여 기술하였다.
