  • 세계적으로 항만의 대형화, 첨단화, 효율화 등 항만환경의 변화가 급격하게 이루어지고 있으며, 선진항만들은 대륙별로 중심항만의 입지를 구축하기 위해 항만기술의 연구개발과 투자를 지속하고 있다. 항만의 대형화, 첨단화, 효율화에 대응하기 위해서는 지속적인 항만기술 개발이 필요하며, 이를 통해 자국 항만산업 발전과 더불어 세계 항만기술 관련 산업의 선점과 수출 극대화를 이룰 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 국내외 항만기술 개발의 현황과 추진정책을 살펴보고 항만기술 분야의 정립을 통해 국내 항만기술개발의 발전전략과 정책방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • 최근에 한국해양대학교에서는 선박조종시뮬레이터를 개발했다. 이에 따라 시뮬레이터에 해상상태를 적용하기 위해 노력중이다. 이 논문에서는 해상에서의 파의 움직임을 표현하는 수학모델과 OpenGL API를 이용하여 해상상태의 가시화 시뮬레이션 및 계산 결과의 시뮬레이터에 적용가능에 대해 논한다.

  • This study focuses on affording a material basis for rearranging the manpower supply system in port and logistics industry for Busan's international competitiveness strategies. First of all, the current state and future plan of port and logistics industry, as Busan's main strategic industry, are reviewed. Then theoretical background are introduced for the estimate of demand. As a methodology of this research, Cubic model is applied to estimate the demand of manpower by using 10 year time series data from 1993 to 2002. This paper also surveyed the supply side of port and logistics industry manpower in Busan area. The amounts of mismatched equilibrium between the demand and the supply are measured in this study. The concluding remarks shows some suggestions for the problem of mismatch and the relating policy planning.

  • 항만국 통제 점검(Port State Control Inspection)은 해양 선박사고의 대부분이 선박 자체의 결함 보다는 인적 과실에 의하여 발생되고 있다는 사실을 인지하고 선박을 운항하고 있는 선원의 자격 검증과 교육훈련 부문의 점검을 강화하고 있다. 이에 따라 날로 강화되고 있는 국제 협약과 국제 법규를 충족시키기 위한 선원의 재교육훈련을 어떻게 효과적이고 효율적으로 시행하느냐가 해운기업에 있어서 풀어나가야 할 숙제라 할 수 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 S사의 피 교육자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하고 연령, 학력, 근무연수, 직위 등을 기준으로 응답자를 분류하여 교육 훈련의 목적 및 필요성, 자기 동기부여, 교육효과 및 성과, 교육훈련의 만족도 등 4개 항목에 대한 인식의 차이를 분석하고 교육의 효과를 높일 수 있는 교육 방안 수립을 위한 시사점을 도출하였다.

  • This paper is the second of 3 companion papers which investigate axial stratification process. In-cylinder fuel behavior has been investigated in the port injected Sl engine by visualizing for the purpose of understanding stratification. Planar laser light sheet from an Nd:YAG laser has been illuminated through the transparent quartz cylinder of the single cylinder optical engine and the Mie scattered light has been captured through the quartz window in the piston head with an ICCD camera. Fuel has been replaced with an air-ethanol mixture to utilize atomized fuel spray fur the visualization purposes. This results have been compared with steady flow concentration measurement. For low/medium swirl port, the early injection makes such a fuel distribution state that is upper-rich, middle-lean and lower-rich along the combustion chamber and cylinder by tumbling motion. On the other hand, the late injection induces upper-rich, middle-lean and lower-rich state due to the short fuel penetration.

항만국통제 검사 모듈 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Inspection Module for Port State Control)

  • Port State Control(PSC) plays important roles in ensuring the ship' safety as well as preserving the marine environment in port and coastal sea. The effect of PSC carried out according to the procedure and document offered by Tokyo MOU depends greatly on inspector and inspection technique. So, it is very important to inspect ships impartially with advanced method. In the case of Korea, the only 30 percent of ships with deficiencies visited to ports are inspected due to the lack of PSC inspectors. So new inspection technique and module are required in order to improve inspection efficiency and to resolve problems mentioned. In this paper, we introduce a module for PSC inspection and evaluate it by inspecting 10 model ships and comparing with present method. The proposed module is expected to obtain the objectivity of inspection, to offer inspection guideline and to determine the priority of inspection ships.

Thermodynamic Properties of the Modified Yukawa Potential

  • Within the framework of the modified factorization method, we solve the $Schr{\ddot{o}}dinger$ equation with the modified Yukawa potential. The energy spectrum is obtained using the Pekeris approximation scheme for the centrifugal term. The thermodynamic properties, including the vibrational partition function, vibrational mean energy, vibrational mean free energy, vibrational specific heat capacity and vibrational entropy, are calculated. As a special case, we compare our result with that work of Dong [Int. J. Quant. Chem. 107, 366 (2007)] and find good agreement.

  • This paper studies the effects of intake port configuration on the swirl that is key parameter in the flow field of direct injection diesel engines. In-cylinder flow characteristics is known to have significant effects on fuel air mixing, combustion and emissions. To investigate the swirl flow generated by various intake ports, steady state flow tests were conducted to evaluate the swirl. Helical port geometry, SCV shape and bypass were selected as the design parameters to increase the swirl flow and parametric study was performed to choose the optimal port shape that would generate a high swirl ratio efficiently. The results revealed that a key factor in generating a high swirl ratio was to suitably control the direction of the intake air flow passing through the valve seat. For these purposes, we changed the distance of helical and tangential port as well as installed bypass near the valve seat and the effects of intake port geometry on in-cylinder flow field were visualized by a laser sheet visualization method. From the experimental results, we found that the swirl ratio and mass flow rate had a trade off relation. In addition, the result indicates that the bypass is a effective method to increase the swirl ratio without sacrificing mass flow rate.

가솔린엔진의 흡기유량계수와 포트설계인자의 상관성에 관한 연구 (Analytical Approach on Intake fort Development of SI Engines Based on Correlations of Design Parameters and Flow Coefficients)

  • An Intake Port of SI engines plays a key role on improving engine performance by maximizing full load volumetric efficiency or by optimizing in-cylinder air motion. However, designing an intake port has been usually performed based on port experts' experience and know-how, which means that analytical analyses are relatively insufficient. In this paper, port design parameters which decide an overall port shape were defined in order to correlate them relevantly with flow test results accumulated so far. Test species were composed of all twenty eight SI engines which cover major engine displacements from 1,000cc to 4,000cc. First, they were tested on a steady state flow test rig to find out their flow coefficients. Secondly, those flow coefficients were analyzed based on the port design parameters measured from the engines. The most effective parameters were port height, valve head diameter, and the ratio of port size and cylinder bore diameter. The final correlation equation could predict flow coefficients within 2% deviation.
