To design a ATM Switch which ahs advantages in high sped packet switching, it is essential to set multiple paths between input ports and output ports and to design a new packet transfer technique on that paths for decreasing Packet Loss by conflicts in internal Switch Plane. We propose new packet transfer method, Alternate Path Transfer Mechanism by Dynamic Bypass Transfer Method which can solve conflict problem in Banyan network easily. Proposed ATM Switch consists of Banyan networks, Input/Ouput Port, Bypass Link, and Bypass Link Controller. Packets caused conflicts in SEs have another chances of packet transfer over alternate switching planes by using this mechanism.

The risks in global grain markets have increased due to COVID-19, extreme weather, natural disasters, and the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Additionally, in Korea, the locations for grain manufacturing have shifted owing to various factors. Despite these environmental changes, grain handling ports in Korea are limited in their capacity to respond promptly, resulting in operational inefficiencies. This study clarified changes in grain throughput and analyzed the efficiency of grain handling ports using the Super-SBM model. It suggested that the ports in Pyeongtaek and Gunsan were the most efficient, based on CCR and BCC results in 2022. These findings could provide several insights related to port operating plans for port operators, managers, and developers.

The banyan network is a popular and basic structure of the multi-stage ATM switches. This paper presents a novel approach to resolve the internal blocking of the banyan network by using a Non-Blocking Permutation Generator (NBPG). The NBPG performs two functions, i.e., the first is to extract the conflict cells from the incoming cells and Ole second is to re-assign new input port addresses to the conflict cells. As a result, NBPG generates non-blocking I/O permutations. To estimate the performance of the NBPG, we provide the results of several simulations.
Because of rapid changes in business environment and fierce competition, firms are facing a more competitive environment and a more serious global competition. Many of the previous literatures have indicated that a business which increases its market orientation will improve its market performance. Numerous authors have argued the interdepartmental dynamics as prior factor to market orientation, and relationship commitment are an essential part of successful long-term relationships. Based on previous literatures, this study proposes the structure about interdepartmental dynamics, market orientation, relationship commitment and performance. The purpose of this paper is to find the impact of market orientation and relationship commitment on customer performance. In addition, this suggests interdepartmental dynamics as prior factor to market orientation. Results indicate that interdepartmental connections can reduce interdepartmental conflict, and lower conflict is a key factor of market orientation. Furthermore, this paper finds evidences that support the mediating effects of the relationship commitment between market orientation and customer performance.
The purpose of this study was to confirm that the formation and influencing factors of ocean governance in Busan. Recently it has been observed that the concept of ocean governance increasingly popular in the field of maritime administration, as the concept helps us understand more comprehensively the new or emerging roles of the government and other stakeholders(private enterprise, citizen, etc) in a rapidly changing environments. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the status of ocean governance and draw alternatives in applying appropriate ocean governance structure of maritime administration in Busan. The result of this study shows that ocean governance level in Busan was not high in some factors such as participation, cooperation, collective decision making. This is caused by the lack of a ocean governance structure. Based on these significant research findings, theoretical and practical implications were discussed.
This study tries 'interdisciplinary research' regarding the formation process of public sphere and the modern media on the Korean society. From the process where the civil society of modern ages is formed, the public sphere was condition that pulls down the feudal system of medieval Europe and appears the civil society. The modern newspaper collected the public opinion from lower part and did play a leading role which forms public sphere in Europe. Even from Korea the literary public sphere and political public sphere were developing inside the Chosun Dynasty period from lower part since 18th century. However the opening of a port became accomplished before making the printing media which is newspaper. As a result the public sphere in Korea was accomplished a conflict-structure. This study cleared where the crisis of Korean journalism is originated by presenting a conflict-structure differently with a transplantation theory or a graft hybrid hypothesis.
Currently serious conflicts of interests are arisen for the use of coastal area in Korea. However, there no mediation program, mediators' consistent policies and reasonable laws to resolve conflict of interests which may be arisen when developing coastal area. The objective of this study is to lay the evaluation criteria for the formalized objective evaluation among disputants of coastal conflicts for the better understanding and characterizing of coastal conflicts in Korea. In order to do so, this study has adopted for the extraction of the evaluation factors to describe the present conditions of conflicts in the selected study area(Sihwa lake), to analyze the problems, and then to explore alternative approaches for resolving the conflicts. As research methodologies, we have depended upon literature review and field survey methods. As field survey methods, we employed structured questionnaires for the various samples from the experts of research institutes, professors, representatives of NGOs and citizens. Survey results suggested that 5 representative elements comprising 35 detailed elements could be identified. Based on these results, this study was able to identify and classify the evaluation factors and help to resolve coastal conflicts in Korea.
Bill of lading means the transport document ("marine", "ocean" or "port-to-port" or similar), however named, covering sea shipment only. Data in a bill of lading, when read in context with the credit, the document itself and international standard banking practice, need not be identical to, but must not conflict with, data in that document, any other stipulated document or the credit, according to UCP 600 and ISBP. This article has provided the general guideline of the discrepancies on the basis of UCP 600, ISBP 681 and the ICC Banking Commission Opinions, for the solution of the unpaid problems of the credit transactions. I have studied especially the ICC Banking Commission Opinions and the DOCDEX Decisions on the bill of lading after UCP 600, the international standard banking practice (ISBP 681), and the recent Korean cases. As such, this article would fill a need gap in the market between the general principles in the UCP provisions and the daily job of the practitioner. The credit practitioners are suggested to this resulting guidance whenever doubts arise as to how to check the credit documents in daily practice.
China's Belt and Road Initiative infrastructure connectivity and other projects are presented in much of the discourse as a grand strategy to trap developing nations in debt, to exert asymmetric power and construct a new world economic order. The asymmetric relationship between China and Myanmar might therefore be expected to generate a range of political risks for stakeholders. Myanmar itself presents a "perfect storm" of problems, with dysfunctional governance, civil conflict, under-development and growing economic dependence on China. The Kyaukphyu port project and associated Special Economic Zone in Myanmar's troubled Rakhine state is investigated as a case study of risks on the Belt and Road. While worst case fears China might seize military control of the port appear unlikely, at least in current conditions, empirical observation indicates the complexity on the ground generates an array of other risks - as well as opportunities, should conditions allow. Further, despite challenges and constrained capacity, Myanmar governments have demonstrated agency, including by re-negotiating control and costs of the Kyaukphyu project. The case underlines that conditions are more complicated than simply China's asymmetric power. A sceptical approach is taken to normative discourses in order to build inductive understanding of how stakeholders and local experts perceive dynamics underway. A political risk approach is deployed to develop a framework to identify, analyse and assess risks for actors in relation to the Kyaukphyu project. The research findings are presented on an interim basis, given current constraints on field interviews due to the current crisis.
In this paper we describe a multi-module, multi-port memory design procedure that satisfies area and/or energy constraints. Our procedure uses ILP models to determine (a) the memory configuration with minimum area, given the energy bound, (b) the memory configuration with minimum energy, given the area bound. If we have a margin in time constraint, we break up conflict edges and expend the search space of ILP. This method effectively reduces area and power of the designed results.
