Currently, lasers are one of the most popular light sources in use for medical treatment. Many studies on low power lasers are being done in cell culture or through animal tests and most report different findings, making it difficult to verify their true effects. There are shifts in trends of studies from laser and LED that are expensive and generate heat problem to LED that are economically effective and safe. Its near infrared rays can penetrate deep into skin or muscle, up to 23 cm, without causing thermal damage or impairing neighboring tissues. This study verified the performance and effectiveness of an LED irradiator that was designed to emit similar wavelengths to that of a laser and thus could be used instead of a low level laser therapy in experiments on animals. And then, each experiment was performed to irradiation group and non-irradiation group for NTacSam:SD tissue cells. MIT assay method was chosen to verify the cell increase of two groups and the effect of irradiation on cell proliferation was examined by measuring 590nm transmittance of ELISA reader. As a result, the cell increase of NTacSam:SD tissue cells was verified in irradiation group as compared to non-irradiation group. The fact that specific wavelength irradiation has an effect on cell vitality and proliferation is known through this study.

In China, the phenomenon called 'Korean Wave' has boosted the interest in Korean pop culture, such as TV drama, music and films, and even in the general culture and society. As Korean singers, movie actors and talents become popular beyond acceptance of public culture, those who learn Korean, buy Korean products and visit Korea have emerged. Especially, most Chinese women have used Korean hair cosmetics and the interests in Korean hair cosmetics are increasing, since cosmetic companies entered China early due to Korean wave. Thus, the status of purchase of Korean hair cosmetics is growing day by day in China. In particular, since the environment is established to buy hair cosmetics easily in Myeong-dong which is one of the shopping tourism special districts, many Chinese tourists are crowded there. Based on such phenomenon, this study explored the differences in perceptions towards 'Korean Wave' among Chinese tourists who purchased Korean hair cosmetics in Myeong-dong, and analyzed the factors that largely determine the interest in Korean hair cosmetics and their purchase behavior. Therefore, this study is aimed at contributing to the development of hair cosmetics products and the market amid Korean Wave. As the research methods, 100 answered questionnaires were collected with target of Chinese tourists at 20s and 40s who purchased Korean hair cosmetics in Myeong-dong once 120 questionnaires were distributed. In-depth analysis was conducted and final research data were used. It was confirmed that Korean fever positively affected the Chinese tourists' purchase behavior and satisfaction of hair cosmetics, and the interests in Korean hair cosmetics at 20s were higher than at 40s. People at 20s had higher awareness, satisfaction and intention of repurchase of hair cosmetics compared rather than people at 40s. The research confirmed that Chinese tourists are very interested in Korean hair cosmetics as the pop music craze has led to the general Korean Wave, and differences in such perceptions have led to significant differences in the product purchase behavior.

The purpose of this thesis is to make an effective Korean Hip Hop culture and suggest a new style direction in classifying the types of fashion styles of the Hip Hop musicians and studying their features. They are surveyed in stage costumes, hair styles, make-ups, accessaries, and total fashion styles, and then classified into Normal Hip Hop Style, Casual Hip Hop Style, Sporty Hip Hop Style, Mix & Match Hip Hop Style, and Classical Hip Hop Style. The results of the study are as follows: First, Normal Hip Hop Style is the most general and universal Hip Hop fashion type. They wear clothes in bigger sizes and exaggeratively. And also a cornrow hair style, a tattoo, and a piercing represent marked individualities. Second, Casual Hip Hop Style is more active and practical than Normal Hip Hop Style. Their blue jeans and T-shirts express more simple and polished style. And also they make variable fashion styles and hair styles such as a cornrow hair and a buzz cut. Third, Sporty Hip Hop Style is from B-boy's clothes when they do active and violent break dancing. As NBA basketball games are popular, they wear training clothes, breeches, big T-shirts, and jumpers & caps on embroidered sport team's names. Their hair style is short or natural and also they have caps or hoods to present active mood. Fourth, Mix & Match Hip Hop Style is existed variable elements in one style. The typical type of this style is jacket & blue jean. It is characterized by dress shirts, neck ties, blue jeans, sneakers, beards, and moustaches. Fifth, Classical Hip Hop Style is from African Americans. They try to express assimilated appearance of Anglo-Saxons. They wear black suits, shoes, hats, and sunglasses to represent formality and elegance. In the above results, there are variable fashion styles in one Hip Hop music genre and also fashion style is changed with musical inclination. This thesis is an important guide to produce variable and creative Hip Hop fashion styles in Korean Hip Hop culture.

In this study, 2,238 incidents from History of the Three States, Prehistory of the Three States, History of Koryo, True Records of Chosun Dynasty had been analyzed in order to examine the bathing styles of Koreans. The results were as follows. In the period of Three States, baths were taken for the purposes of cleanness, remedy, and beauty culture as well as etiquettes. And spa, rainwater, rivers, streams, and bath tubs were used. In the period of Koryo, it included not only reasons for etiquettes as in the period of the Three States but also reasons for medical care and daily life. In spa, temples, and homes, baths were taken by using perfumes and towels. In Chosun Dynasty, daily baths were for hygiene, health, and bodily charms. Before religious ceremonies, they made sure that they took baths, and spa baths were popular for the medical care. The ways to take baths included the order which area was the first to be washed, time, and areas concretely, and seasons, weather, and conditions of body were considered before taking baths. Moreover, the places included natural places such as streams, reservoirs, rivers, as well as artificial places such as temples, places for envoys, and palaces. Especially, in spa areas, bathing buildings were constructed. Considering all these, baths were taken for the purposes of ceremonies and medical care in the period of the Three States, and daily baths took down their roots in the period of Koryo. In the period of Chosun Dynasty, spa baths for cures, prays and rituals, hygiene and bodily charms were considered as a reason. How to take baths and means were decided carefully. Therefore, the results above demonstrated that baths took down their roots in people's daily life in Korea since the period of Koryo.

A new movement in forming community villages for better living standards is becoming popular. In order to sustain a proper community, it is essential to design proper community programs and facilities, which can encourage the proactive participation of residents. In this study, detailed aspects of the Mindlre (Dandelion) community (including formation process and management of the village) are investigated. The Mindlre community is a successful community village in Korea concerned with residents' participation and community activities. The community is located in Sancheong, Gyungsangnamdo province in Korea. The study methods are references, field trips, and interviews with residents. Six areas were surveyed and investigated: the physical environment of the Mindlre community and eco-friendly elements, respondents' background and the motivation to join, residents composition, residents' participation in the formation process of the community, self-management systems and common activities, and residents's life satisfaction. The mindlre Community was founded on Christian religions faith. The primary idea of this village was building a new hope for rural areas without discrimination. The size of the village was expanded with housing for teachers and students who were linked with the Mindlre School (substitution school). When the community was founded, existing shapes of the village were preserved. The village was physically renovated based on the original environment, in addition nature friendly materials and methods were used. The residents were proactively involved in the community through regular meetings, self-regulation, and community worship. Although the survey results should that most residents were highly satisfied with living standards, there seemed to be no clear division between community facilities and private houses. A systematic and detailed space planning technique was required. In addition, various community facilities are required due to the expansion of the community.

War has been a reason for the culture of one conservative country to make contact with the culture of another country. The Crusade, among other wars, caused cultural exchange between the orient and the occident and had a great influence on the western costume. This paper has made an attempt to find out the influence of the Crusade with respect to the cultural exchange between the orient and the Occident and to study the influence which the Crusade has had on the western costume. The Crusade was the war in which the European Christians tried to retake the Holy Land, Jerusalem, from the Islamites through the 11th century to the 13th century. As a result of this war,the autyority of the Pope was weakned, the nobles were ruined and royal authority was consolidated. Due to the contact with the Orient, trade had become active, cityes had developed and the middle class of rich merchant had grown. Gothic architecture also appeared in the Occident at this time due to the religious influence of the Crusade. Turban type headdress and the brink decoration of clothes had been very popular under the influence of the Orient. Embroidery and applique had developed and silk fabrics which had been imported from the Orient had made the costumes more fabrics which had been imported from the Orient had made the costumes more gorgeous and luxurious. Many accessories were imported from the Orient. The Oriental culture contributed to the use of rich and bright colorsm, various ornaments and splendid textiles of the western costume. Owing to the influence of war itself, many costumes had been newly made in order to adapt to the hot desert climates of the Orient. Blazon decorations, uniforms and armour had also developed.

Museums contain a significant meaning as a place that reflects empirical knowledge that have been accumulated socially and scientifically in overall life of the public and provides the opportunity to enjoy prestigious culture, while serving as the extended place of education. The first objective of this study is to increase the accessibility of general public through the development of online museum programs as service contents and to present the ultimate direction the development of in art appreciation contents that can effectively expand the infrastructure of culture and art. Second, the effectiveness of online art appreciation programs by registered private museums, which continuously develop smart media-based online museum contents and systemization of archive as the distribution rate of smart devices is increased due to generalization of digital environments, was analyzed by each case to examine the objective distinctions strategies. Third, in terms of museum visitors and smart contents users, this study examines the expected effects of popular distribution by seeking various ways that can enhance the desired exhibit appreciation and autonomous utilization of educational programs, while not being restricted by the physical accessibility and limitation of space at the museums. The subjects of this study included cases of BoroomSan Museum, Savina Museum of Contemporary Art, Imageroot, Sangwon Museum of Art, Hello Museum, etc. and the online smarts contents art appreciation educational programs by registered private museums were analyzed. Results expected to achieve from such processes are as follows. First, the possibility to expand cultural participation in museum exhibition appreciation and museum education infrastructure became widen. Second, the educational program resources can be utilized as the culture and art asset that strengthens the museums' responsibilities in their social role. Third, museum archive can be constructed in more systematic way, and the efficiency of museum archive system can be enhanced to maintain the museum collection database in a consistent format. Fourth, the museum's smart contents users' continued access to museum's online contents may induce the exhibition effect of the site and voluntary participation in education, and can also expect an economic synergy effect as the users become potential visitors that may actually visit the museum in the future.

Feminism on the theme of gender equality is emerging as an important issue in the overall Korean culture. Feminism is not only a level of claiming or advocating women's rights, but an essential subject of gaze and thought, not a distorted, artificially portrayed image of women distorted or typified in a story created by men in the past It is a film that explores the problem of the individual's life in society fundamentally. Jun Koeun's movie' 'micro-habitat'(2018) 'expresses a feminist theme that shows a strong self - selection and transcendental thinking in male - oriented stereotypes and inequal social structure. The film, which focuses on the public insight into society and the enhancement of the ideal human being from the viewpoint that the public film should lead the educated enlightenment character that raises the broad insight into the world and lead the mature social culture, I think it will play a big role.

Cymbidium is one of the largest genus in the orchid family and a number of hybrids have been bred in the world. During mass-propagating the Cymbidium "Dongyang" using the meristem culture technology, a useful leaf mutant was selected from the protocom like bodies. The new Cymbidium variety by in vitro mutangesis from "Dongyang" was named as 'Daegook' in 1998. Compared to Dongyang, "Daegook" mutant has white or yellow stripes along the margin of leaves and flowers. The plant length of "Daegook" was shorter than "Dongyang" and the mean length and width of leaf in "Daegook" was 40 cm and 1.6 cm, respectively. The new variety, "Daegook", is expected to be a popular Cymbidium variety among consumer as a ornamental orchid mutant for pot culture by its fine and unique stripes and growth characters.

Zantedeschia spp. calla is very popular as a cut flower. It is very important to establish a micro propagation system through plant tissue culture with the problem that colored calla with various colors are low in natural reproduction rate and vulnerable to high temperature. In this study, we conducted the experiment by adding taurine to improve the growth of calla plant. When 20 mg/L of taurine was added with plant growth effect, 54.0 % of the cases of multiple shoots and 17.2 times of fresh weight were the most effective. Taurine 20 mg/L treatment showed 16.0 % and 39.2 %, respectively, than the untreated control. Taurine may contribute to mass propagation of elite breeding lines as well as an improvement of farm income by positively influencing the overall growth of calla plants, thereby positively affecting the establishment of the micro propagation system of calla shoot tips.
