  • 상지 절단 장애인들을 위한 미관형 의수는 95% 이상의 시장 보급률을 보인다. 하지만 외부 형상 향상에만 연구 초점이 맞추어져 있어 많은 장애인들이 의수를 착용할 때 차가운 표면으로 인해 이질감을 느낀다. 이로 인해 의수 제작 업체 및 절단 장애인들은 착용 시 이질감이 적은 의수의 보급을 희망하고 있다. 그러므로 본 연구에서는 인체와 유사한 온도를 발생시켜 이질감을 감소시키는 의수를 개발하기 위해 유연 기판인 TPU (Temperature Polyurethane)와 PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) 위에 상용 silver nano paste를 3D 프린터로 인쇄하였으며, UV 표면처리를 사용하여 단시간 내에 낮은 저항과, 높은 회로 접착강도를 갖는 회로를 개발 하였다.

  • Previous studies demonstrated that laser ablation under transparent liquid can result in ablation enhacement and particle removal from the surface. In this work, the liquid-assisted excimer laser ablation process is examined fer polyethylene terephthalate (PET), polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), Si, and alumina with emphasis on ablation enhacement, surface topography, and debris formation. In the case of PET and PMMA, the effect of liquid is analyzed both fer thin water film and bulk water. As the ablation enhanement by liquid is already known for Si and alumina, the analysis focuses on surface topography and debris formation resulting from the liquid-assisted laser ablation process. The results show that application of liquid increases the ablation rate of PMMA while that of PET remains unchanged even in the liquid-assisted process. It is also revealed that the liquid can significantly improve the surface quality by reducing the debris deposition. However, the surface roughness is generally deteriorated in the liquid-assisted process. The surface toporaphy is found to be strongly dependent on the method of liquid application, i.e., thin film or bulk liquid.

Control of ITO/PET Thin Films Depending on the Ratio of Oxygen Partial Pressure in Sputter (스퍼터의 산소분압비율에 의존한 ITO/PET박막의 조절)

  • ITO (indium tin oxide) thin films on PET (polyethylene terephthalate) substrate have been deposited by a dc reactive magnetron sputtering without heat treatments such as substrate heater and post heat treatment. Each sputtering parameter during the sputtering deposition is an important factor for the high quality of ITO thin films deposited on polymeric substrate. Particularly, the material, electrical and optical properties of as-deposited ITO oxide films are dominated by the ratio of oxygen partial pressure. As the experimental results, the excellent ITO films are prepared on PET substrate at the operating conditions as follows : operating pressure of 5 mTorr, target-substrate distance of 45mm, do power of 20~30W, and oxygen gas ratio of 10%. The optical transmittance is above 80% at 550 nm, and the sheet resistance and resistivity of films are 24 Ω/square and $1.5\times$10$^{-3}$ Ωcm, respectively.

  • A new theoretical fabric shear model has been presented and a quantitative study has been conducted on the shear properties of polyethylene(terephthalate)(PET) fabrics of four different fabric densities and five different weight reduction. The fabric shear properties were measured with KES-F handle measurement system. From the theoretical and experimental studies, following results can be summarized : 1) The fabric shear behavior is strongly dependent on the fabric density and free volume available for the constituent yarns and their filament. 2) Shear hysteresis at the small shear angle(2HG) is dependent more on the yarn tensile properties than on the fabric structure. 3) Shear hysteresis at the shear angle, 5(2HG5) is dependent more on the interaction between two crossing yarns which is directly related on the fabric structure than on the yarn tensile properties.

  • In this paper, specimens which have the structure of Insulator/Insulator/Insulator and Insulator/Semiconductor /Insulator were experimented using insulating material of Polyethylene Terephthalate(PET). The dependency of permitivity, $tan{\delta}$ and conductance on frequency and temperature were investigated. Both of the specimens showed the trend of decrease in permitivity as the temperature increased but increase as the frequency increased. $tan{\delta}$ of both specimens showed increase with the increase of frequency. With the temperature, $tan{\delta}$ showed slight decrease by $60^{\circ}C$ and increase over $80^{\circ}C$.

  • 수소는 여러 기체중에서 분자의 크기가 가장 작고, 막에 의한 분리가 쉬워 기체 막분리 공정 중에서 제일 먼저 개발 상업화되었다. 기체분리막의 발전역사를 살펴보면 1965년 Du Pont사가 polyethylene-terephthalate(PET) 중공사 기체분리 장치를 만든 것이 최초이다. 그러나 이 장치는 시판되지 않았다. 1979년 Monsanto사가 다공성 polysulfone 중공사에 polydimthylsiloxane계 고분자를 박막형태로 도포한 복합막을 개발하여 이것을 이용한 공업적 규모의 수소분리장치(Prism separator)를 개발하였는데 이 장치가 널리 퍼지게 되었다. 이 분리막은 현재 석유화학 및 석유정제공업 플렌드 폐가스로부터 수소회수, Oxo합성 기체중의 $CO/H_2$ 몰비 조절 등의 분야에서 사용되고 있다. 고분자 분리막 공정의 세계 시장 규모가 내년에는 20억~30억불로 추산되며 그 중 기체분리막 공정만 5억불에 달할 것으로 추정하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 수소 분리 회수용 고분자 기체막을 중심으로 분자설계, 공정현황 및 최근 연구동향 등을 살펴보고자 한다.

  • PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) is used for various purposes in electronic appliances such as double-sided tape for fitting parts, product's name plate, and surface protecting film, and so forth. In several kinds of PSAs, this paper dealt with the failure analysis of PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) acrylic adhesive tapes. The causes of interface failure were investigated through the test of adhesive strength, thickness, and structure. And test standard methods to prevent recurrences were established.

  • Silver nanowire (AgNW) random-meshes with high transmittance, low sheet resistance, and high oxidation stability and flexibility were fabricated using solution-based processes. The random-mesh structure was obtained by forming bubbles whose sizes and densities were controlled using a corona treatment of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrates. To reduce the sheet resistance of the fabricated AgNW electrode, a washing process using ethanol solution was performed. In addition, nickel (Ni) was coated on AgNW to improve resistance to oxidation. The effects of corona treatment and Ni-coating on the transmittance, sheet resistance, oxidation stability, and flexibility of the AgNW electrodes were investigated.

  • The development of polymer/inorganic nanocomposites has attracted a great deal of interest due to the improved hybrid properties derived from the two different components. Various nanoscale fillers have been used to enhance polymer mechanical and thermal properties, such as toughness, stiffness, and heat resistance. The effects of the filler on the final properties of the nanocomposites are highly dependent on the filler shape, particle size, aggregate size, surface characteristics, polymer/inorganic interactions, and degree of dispersion. In this paper, we describe the influence of different $CaCO_3$ dispersion methods on the thermal properties of polyethylene terephthalate (PET)/$CaCO_3$ composites: i.e., the adsorption of $CaCO_3$ on the modified PET surface, and the hydrophobic modification of the hydrophilic $CaCO_3$ surface. We prepared PET/$CaCO_3$ nanocomposites using a twin-screw extruder, and investigated their thermal properties and morphology.

  • Biaxially oriented polyethylene terephthalate copolymer(BO - PET)film laminated aluminiums have been applied for chip condenser case. The BO PET film is characterized by high molecular which gives high corrosion resistance, good adhesion and high heat resistance. The higher orientation lowers formability of the film. So, optimum orientation has to be controlled during the laminating process. And to confirm the adhesion between BO PET and aluminium and to guarantee the formability of PET laminated aluminums, we have controlled the chromium oxides weight on the aluminium and laminating condition ( laminating temperature, soaking temperature and lag time after nip roll and quenching conditions) This paper discusses the effect of the laminating conditions on the formability of laminated aluminums. As results, it is clear that the orientation of the BO PET film decreased with an increase in the strip temperature. When the film temperature is over the melting point of the film, its orientation drastically decreased.
