삼륜 전기 자동차용 외전형 In-Wheel BLDCM의 개발 (Development of Outer-Rotor Type In-Wheel BLDCM for Three-Wheeled Electric Vehicle)

  • Outer rotor type in-wheel Blushless DC Motor(BLDCM) for three-wheeled electric vehicle is researched. In-wheel system is to drive the electric vehicle without mechanical transmission, shaft, differential gears or other mechanical system. The motor is designed considering the performance requirements and drive modes of the vehicle. The determined dimensions as well as the slot and rotor pole are simulated by magnetic and thermal finite element analysis and ansys workbench to analyze the performance and heating of the motor. In order to verify the performance characteristics of the proposed motor, the experiment tests are executed and satisfy well the requirements.

  • This paper proposes inserted core type of slotless Permanent Magnet Linear Synchronous Motor(PMLSM) to improve its low thrust density. However, by inserting the core between windings of each phase, detent force is generated and it acts as thrust ripple. Furthermore, linear motors generate end effect making thrust ripple. So, this paper applies the neural network to minimize detent force and to maximize thrust. Also, sub-poles is placed at the end parts of the mover to compensate end effect. To confirm of calculation method's validity, the calculated results are compared with experimental results.

Electromagnetic Analysis of a Flat-Type Proportional Solenoid by the Reluctance Method

  • In this study, the electromagnetic characteristic of a flat-type two-dimensional proportional solenoid were analyzed by the magnetic reluctance method. The magnetic equivalent circuit equation for the solenoid was derived by modeling the reluctance of air gaps and magnetic structural components such as pole core, armature and yoke. It was solved iteratively because of the nonlinear magnetization properties of iron parts. The solutions showed good agreement with experimental data. Based on the magnetic equivalent circuit equation, the influence of design parameters on force-to-armature displacement curves was mathematically derived and experimentally verified. In this way, dominant design parameters could be analytically determined.

패널형 소음기의 투과손실 특성 연구 (Transmission Loss Characteristics of the Panel Type Silencer)

  • This paper deals with transmission loss characteristics of the panel type silencer to control low frequency noise. The panel type silencer is composed of many Helmholtz resonators by side branch. Each resonator has high transmission loss on the narrow band of its resonance frequency. Direct arrangement of the resonators increases mainly the magnitude of transmission loss. If we arrange the resonators in a row, the peak and band of transmission loss are increased. This makes the resonator array to have high transmission loss in the broader band. Using this idea, we design a silencer that has broader band characteristics and smaller volume.

  • In this paper a driving method using the microcomputer in safe driving the axial type double rotor brushless DC motor without shaft position sensor is studied. The rotor position is determined from the back-EMF passed though special filter. Starting technique which uses the motor as a synchronous motor at standstill are explained. The motor speed is controlled by changing the duty cycle of PWM. The test motor has Y-connected three-phase stator and 8-pole axial type double rotor. From the experiments, we got good performences of the proposed control system.

Stand-Alone Pico-Hydro Generation System using a High-Efficiency IPM Synchronous Generator

  • This paper presents a successful stand-alone pico-hydro generation system using a high-efficiency interior permanent-magnet (IPM) synchronous generator. A 1-kW 4-pole V-type IPM generator with low voltage regulation is used for laboratory test in stand-alone hydro energy conversion system. It has been found from experimental results that the constant output voltage is supplied stably by the proposed system under wide speed range.

  • In this paper, we calculate the thrust force by the permeance method. we analyze the thrust force vs. displacement and harmonic components of static thrust characteristics of LPM. Microstep reference current for cancelation of the dominent harmonic component is obtained by the analytical method.

On D-admissibility Conditions of Singular Systems

  • In this paper, we first establish $D_L$-admissibility and $D_R$-admissibility conditions for singular systems. The admissibility conditions expressed as Lyapunov type inequalities extend the existed results of normal systems to singular systems. As special cases the admissibility conditions of the continuous-time and the discrete-time singular systems can be obtained directly. The results established in this paper can be applied to solve the problems of eigenvalue assignment, regional pole-placement and robust control etc.

  • This paper describes on the design considerations and analysis of moving primary-type linear induction motor for automatic conveyer system. For the study of the designed motor characteristics, calculated values obtained from the analysis using finite element method for various operation conditions are compared with the experimental results. Using the combined interactions of the thrust, the arigap flux density, and the reactive power at standstill as performance criteria, a proper ratio of the pole pitch to the effective airgap is presented for the design criterion.

  • In this study new design method with auxiliary slot on salient pole is proposed for the reduction of cogging torque which is the problem of corm type DC Brushless motor. And FEM(Finite element method) is adapted in trial motor which is designed by the method proposed in this paper. and learn the quantative characteristics of cogging torque. Comparing results of analysis with measurement it is porved that the proposed design has a propriety.
