Design on SDS2 On-line Poison Concentration Monitoring in CANDU

  • At the reference plant(Wolsong unit No. 1) a manual poison sampling system is provided to periodically sample gadolinium from each tank and analyze it in the laboratory to provide assurance that adequate poison concentration in each tank is maintained. The AECB required a continuous, on-line monitoring system. On Wolsong unit No. 2, process piping adapter and new instrument loops added to the Liquid Injection Shutdown System(LISS) which is part of SDS2. The new instrument loops continuously monitor SDS2 poison conductivity and initiate an alarm when the poison concentration is too low.

Studies for Reestablishment of Approval Toxin Amount in Paralytic Shellfish Poison-Infested Shellfish -4. Detoxification and Toxin Composition in Paralytic Shellfish Poison-Infested Oyster during Processing-

  • Studies on detoxification of Paralytic Shellfish Poison (PSP)-infested oyster, Crassostrea gigas were carried out using available processing resources. Changes of paralytic shellfish toxin components and specific toxicity during canning process were also investigated with high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Toxic oysters collected at Hachong in Koje Bay were used for experimental samples. The toxicity of oysters with range of 185-778 ug/100g was reduced below the quarantine limit of 80 ug/100g or not detected level by the mouse bioassay after canning process. The mole $\%$ of toxin components in the shucked oyster was in the order of 25.1 mole $\%$ of gonyautoxin 1, 19.2 mole $\%$ of gonyautoxin 3, 17.2 mole $\%$ of gonyautoxin 4 and 14.6 mole $\%$ of gonyautoxin 2. This sample had tracing amounts of Cl, C2, saxitoxin and neosaxitoxin. In the case of specific toxicity, the major toxins were consisted of gonyautoxin 1-4. The sum of gonyautoxin 1, 2, 3 and 4 was 80% of total toxicity of oyster. Saxitoxin and decarbamoylsaxitoxin were the more thermostable than any other toxin components.

물질과 제품 사용에 의한 국내 중독(poisoning) 건수 추정 (Estimation of Poisoning Cases by Use of Chemicals and Chemical Products in South Korea)

  • Objective: South Korea still lacks systematic national poisoning data collection or a poison control center (PC). The objectives of this study are to provide estimates of poisoning incidents in South Korea and to stress the necessity of a national poisoning surveillance framework managed by a national PC. Method: The number of poisoning incidents was estimated based on the 2018 annual report of the American Association of Poison Control Centers' National Poison Data System (NPDS). Our estimation of poisoning data was classified according to age group, reason for poison exposure, and case management site. Results: Total poisoning cases estimated numbered 326,636, which is tantamount to 631 cases per 100 thousand. Poisoning cases among those younger than five years old accounted for 71.7% in the United States. Fatal poisoning cases were estimated to be 210.63 (95% CI: 199.70-222.15). Non-intentional poisoning cases (250,378 cases, 95% CI: 249,992-250,764, 76.7%) were estimated to be far higher than intentional cases (62,399 cases, 95% CI: 62,207-62,593, 19.1%). Conclusion: Our results can be used to suggest the necessity of producing national poisoning data and establishing a PC despite the uncertainty of estimation.

데이터 증강 기반의 효율적인 포이즈닝 공격 방어 기법 (Efficient Poisoning Attack Defense Techniques Based on Data Augmentation)

  • 최근 이미지 인식 및 탐지 분야에 딥러닝 기반의 기술이 도입되면서 영상 처리 산업이 활성화되고 있다. 딥러닝 기술의 발전과 함께 적대적 공격에 대한 학습 모델 취약점이 계속해서 보고되고 있지만, 학습 시점에 악의적인 데이터를 주입하는 포이즈닝 공격의 대응 방안에 대한 연구가 미흡한 실정이다. 종래 포이즈닝 공격의 대응 방안은 매번 학습 데이터를 검사하여 별도의 탐지 및 제거 작업을 수행해야 한다는 한계가 있었다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 포이즌 데이터에 대해 별도의 탐지 및 제거과정 없이 학습 데이터와 추론 데이터에 약간의 변형을 가함으로써 공격 성공률을 저하시키는 기법을 제안한다. 선행연구에서 제안된 클린 라벨 포이즌 공격인 원샷킬 포이즌 공격을 공격 모델로 활용하였고, 공격자의 공격 전략에 따라 일반 공격자와 지능형 공격자로 나누어 공격 성능을 확인하였다. 실험 결과에 따르면 제안하는 방어 메커니즘을 적용하면 종래 방법 대비 최대 65%의 공격 성공률을 저하시킬 수 있었다.

  • In this paper, we analyze an M/G/1 two-phase gated service model with threshold. We consider compound Poison arrival Process and general service time, where the server fives two different modes of services in order, batch and individual services. Server starts his service when the number of arrived customers reaches the predetermined threshold . We find the PGF of the number of customers in system and LST of waiting time, with which we obtain the means of them.

  • A (s, S) inventory policy is studied for a continuous inventory model in which lead times are dependent on the ordering quantity. The model assumes that at most one order is outstanding and demands occur in a compound poison process. The steady-state probability distributions of the inventory levels are derived so as to determine the long-run expected average cost. And the computational procedure is presented.

마비성패류독의 생물학적 제독 -2. 해수에서 분리한 Enterobacter sp. CW-6를 이용한 마비성패류독의 분해- (Change of Paralytic Shellfish Poison Components during Bacterial Detoxification)

  • 해수에서 분리한 마비성패류독 분해 균주 Enterobactersp. CW-6 균주의 마비성 패류독소 최적 분해 온도 및 시험 균주의 독소 분해과정 중의 독소 함량 및 구성성분을 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 시험 균주는 배양 적온으로 확인된 $30, 35^{\circ}C$에서 배양 5일만에 각각 최초 첨가 독력의 $56.8, 44.1{\%}$, 12일 후에는 $93.0, 79.5{\%}$를 분해하였다. 그러나, 배양 적온에서 벗어날수록 균주의 독소 분해 활성은 감소하여 $20^{\circ}C$에서는 배양 12일 후에도 최초 독력의 $69.0{\%}$가 잔존하였다. 시험 균주 Enterobacter sp. CW-6는 $30^{\circ}C$에서의 조독소를 이용한 분해 활성 측정에서 초기 농도 38.2nmole/g의 마비성패류독을 배양 8일 및 12일째 각각 $88.4, 92.7{\%}$ 분해하였다. 정제 독소를 이용한 분해 시험에서, 조독소 분해과정 중에 일시적으로 증가하는 STX group은 GTX2, 3에서 전환된 것으로 확인되었다. 시험 균주 Enterobactersp. CW-6는 정제 독소에 대해서도 강한 분해 활성을 나타내었으며, 최초 농도 47 nmole/g 의 GTX1과 37 nmole/g GTX4를 분해 과정 12일 후에 각각 $100, 90.8{\%}$ 분해하였으며, GTX2, 3 혼합물에 대하여는 최초농도 25.6 nmole/g의 독소를 12일 후에 $66.4{\%}$까지 분해하였다.

무기질계 지반주입재의 내구성 및 친환경적 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Durability and Environmentally Friendly of Inorganic Grouting Material)

  • 무기질계 주입재는 지반개량 재료로서 기존의 물유리계 재료를 사용할 경우 발생하는 용출현상 및 강도저하를 보완한 시멘트계 급결재와 무기질계 초미립자를 주원료로 하는 순수 무기질 재료를 사용한 것으로서, 시공 후 내구성 및 강도가 우수하고 주입재의 용출 현상이 발생하지 않아 환경오염 문제가 거의없는 영구적인 차수 및 보강에 적합한 친환경적인 재료이다. 본 연구는 지반개량 재료로서 급결성 시멘트계 재료와 순수 무기질 주입재를 주원료로 배합된 MIS(Micro Injection-process System)와 기존에 많이 쓰여지고 있는 물유리계 주입재인 SGR의 내구성 및 친환경적특성을 일축압축강도시험, 내화학성시험, 어독성시험, 화학성분 분석 등의 실험으로 비교 분석 하였다. 일축압축 시험결과 재령 28일 강도는 MIS가 SGR재료에 비해 1.7배 크게 발현 되었고, 재령 40일 이후 SGR재료는 강도가 저하하는 반면 MIS는 지속적으로 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 내화학성시험 결과 MIS의 길이변화율이 물유리계주입재에 비해 10배~25배 작게 나타났다. 그리고, 어독성시험 결과 MIS가 물유리계주입재에 비해 친환경적임이 증명되었고, 화학성분 분석 결과 MIS 용출액이 물유리계주입재의 용출액에 비해 $Cr^{6+}$, Pb, Si 성분이 적게 검출됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서, MIS 주입재는 기존의 SGR 주입재에 비해 고강도로 공기단축 및 기초지반의 구조적 안정성이 우수하며 친환경적이라 지하수오염 등의 문제도 적을 것으로 판단된다.

PHASE-B PRE-SIMULATION USING BORON AND GADOLINIUM AS POISON IN THE MODERATOR SYSTEM FOR WOLSONG-1

  • The Wolsong-1 (W-1) Phase-B pre-simulations were carried out in preparation for tests to be conducted for the restart of the reactor after a major refurbishment project that included replacement of the pressure tube. These pre-simulations for Wolsong-1 Phase-B differ from those in the past that were performed for the Wolsong-1,2,3,4 tests in that these tests use the WIMS/DRAGON/RFSP-IST code suite for verification of the tests and gadolinium instead of the traditional PPV/MULTICELL/RFSP code system and boron as poison in the moderator system. The use of gadolinium is deemed not to have domestically accumulated experience gained from the previous Phase-B tests. Thus, it is appropriate to conduct a study in order to gain a correct understanding and interpretation of potential differences in test results stemming from using gadolinium rather than boron. Although the calibration of the reactivity device will not be noticeably different using boron and gadolinium at a constant moderator temperature, the temperature dependency of the neutronic behavior due to the presence of gadolinium in the moderator system might be pronounced. The results of the pre-simulations using gadolinium revealed that the moderator temperature reactivity coefficients indeed showed significant differences in comparison with those with boron. In order to secure the validity of the analysis results, the newly acquired WIMS/DRAGON/RFSP-IST code suite was verified against the W-2,3,4 Phase-B test results. The results of the new code suite verifications revealed some overall improvements in accuracy; justification of the use of the code can be claimed for the validation of the W-1 Phase-B test results.

명현현상(瞑眩現狀)에 대한 사상의학적(四象醫學的) 고찰(考察) (A Sasang Constitutional Study on the Myunghyun Symptom)

  • 1. Objects Myunghyun Symptom(瞑眩現狀) is widely regarded as 'symptoms of discharge the accumulated poison in body', 'symptoms in the process of healing' apart from any other side effects of drugs. Recently, Natural Medicine of Europe and the U.S.A named it 'healing crisis'. However, this tends to be used indiscriminately. I took a look at the meaning of the Myunghyun Symptom correctly, and the meaning at a point of Sasang Constitutional view 2. Methods It was researched on the literal study about the meaning of the Myunghyun Symptom on the book "Seokyung"(書經), "Dongeuibogam(東醫寶鍵)", "Dongyi Suse Bowon(東醫壽世保元)", "Yakjing(藥徵)", and the meaninig at a point of Sasang Constitutional view through the "Dongyi Suse Bowon(東醫壽世保元)", "Dongyi Suse Bowon Sasang Chobonguen(東醫壽世保元 四象草本卷)". 3. Results and Conclusions 1. The original meaning of the Myunghyun symptom is 'dizziness by the use of massive effective drugs'. 2. Yoshimasu Todo interprεtated broadly the Myunghyun symptoms as the discharge of the accumulated poison in body, the symptoms in the process of healing. 3. Dongmu recognized the Myunghyun symptom as dizziness by massive effective drugs and shun the use of massive effective drugs. 4. Dongmu established the concept of 'Jang-gi(臟氣) and 'Yak-gi(藥氣)' and esteemed Jang-gi more than Yak-gi. So he contended that When there is no disease does not use drugs, even if the illness prioritized the use of mild drug, use the massive effective drugs a little while when there is an acute disease. 5. When the Sasnag Constututional Drugs help the Bomyungjiju(보명지주), Sometimes the Myunghyun Symptom is appeared. it is the process of Tongoi by Taeum Drugs, Chungjang by Soyang Drugs, Gojung by Tayang Drugs, Onri by Soeum Durgs. 6. Myunghyun symptoms which used indiscriminately in present is stopped and needs a clear observation and description about the drug reactions to the patient's condition.
