Pocket machining is metal removal operation commonly used for creating depressions in machined parts. Numerically controlled milling is the primary means for machining complex die surface. These complex surfaces are generated by a milling cutter which removes material as it traces out pre-specified tool paths. To machine, a component on a CNC machine, part programs which define the cutting tool path are needed. This tool path is usually planned from CAD, and converted to a CAM machine input format. In this paper I proposed a new method for generating NC tool paths. This method generates automatically NC tool paths with dynamic elimination of machining errors in 2$\frac{1}{2}$ arbitrary shaped pockets. This paper generates a spiral-like tool path by dynamic computing optimal pocket of the pocket boundary contour based on the type and size of the milling cutter, the geometry of the pocket contour and surface finish tolerance requirements. This part programming system is PC based and simultaneously generates a G-code file.

Because the Internet diffusion has been increased, the service that used at the offline has been applied to the online, the saving time and portability has been emphasized, and the service has been increased from the wire to the wireless by the development of the mobile communication technology. There are a Pocket PC, Palm and so forth as devices that are used for it and the services are already used. However, because it is used at only limited operating systems like PCs have, there is the restriction to use for much more users. In order to allow various devices used by much more people the access services, the WPKI authentication should be implemented for devices using Linux OS.

As 21th century advances, internet order system had been developed to maintain convenience along with development of high speed internet networks. To meet the consumer's desire to use the internet food order system in any place and at ant time. we developed wire/wireless internet food order systems that uses the wireless internet terminals (PDA, Pocket PC, etc). This paper presents the design and implementation of the wireless internet food order system.

This paper presents proposal for an application (only for Windows-based Mobile) that can synchronize the Third Generation Windows-based mobile with the prescribed server. This application can be used by mobile users to send information directly to the WAS server wirelessly. In this paper a comparison between Third Generation technology and WLAN ( both are parallel technologies first one embodied by IMT-2000 standards and the second one by ITU Standards) has been made and also a comparison between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth has been made.

M-Commerce에서 안전한 서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 보안 기능을 갖춘 결제 솔루션이 필수적이다. M-Commerce를 이용하기 위한 사용자의 이동 단말기는 핸드폰, PDA, 스마트폰 등으로 다양화 되어가고 있으며, 이 중에서도 PDA의 인터페이스와 이동 접속은 기존 핸드폰의 유선 인터넷의 정보 의존도가 높은 단점을 극복할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 타원곡선 암호를 이용하여 PDA 기반의 신용카드결제 시스템을 설계하였다. 제안된 시스템의 SECURE CARD모듈은 PDA 단말기 자체에 개인정보, 배송정보, 카드정보를 암호화하여 안전하게 저장함으로써 단말기의 정보입력시에 필요한 불편함을 제거하였다. 또한 프로토콜은 M-Commerce에서 인증, 기밀성, 무결성, 부인봉쇄 서비스 등의 보안기능을 제공하도록 설계되었다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the actual condition on consumption of adolescents, focused on their pocket money. Three-hundred students attending in middle and high school in Kyounggi Province were selected, and surveyed using questionnaires. Out of them, 272 students were used in statistical analysis, with frequency, percentage and Chi-test in SPSS/PC+ program. The results were as follows : First, most adolescents got pocket money irregularly from their mothers and average amount per month was more than 10 thousands and less than 50 thousands won. And they weren't satisfied with that amount, especially girl students. Second, most adolescents got extra money when it is a gala day or their records were improved. And most of them did nothing on consideration for their pocket money. Third, most adolescents spent pocket money for hobby or leisure and for snacks. Fourth, most adolescents had never guided how to spend money and had never evaluated their money spending. Fifth, most adolescents tried to spend money thoughtfully and evaluated their friends spent money on impulse. Sixth, most adolescents wanted to buy clothings and friends influenced their spending habit.

The purposes of this study were to identify point makeup purchasing and using behavior according to the personal color awareness. Most women considered their favorite color first when purchasing lipsticks and skin color when purchasing cheek powder or foundation. They considered makeup concept first when applying lipsticks, eye shadows, and cheek powder but skin color applying foundations and manicures. Factors of personal color awareness were preferences & utilization awareness, other's advice, and direct awareness, and were segmented into PC intermediate group, high PC group, and PC retard group. PC intermediate group were in the late 20's and the early 30's, average incomes with high education, and patronized discount stores for point makeups, used fashion color as a criterion when selecting lipsticks, foundations, and manicures, apparel color when applying eye shadows, skin color when applying cheek creams, and preferred imported lipsticks and manicures. High PC group were among unmarried women in the early 20's, university students, high income households with medium level of pocket money, spent more for point makeup, and patronized department stores and internet shopping mall, used skin color or fashion color as criteria when selecting point makeup, referenced makeup concept when applying point makeup, preferred imported point makeup. PC retard group were among married women in the late 30's with low education and low income, spent less for point makeup and pocket money, and selected domestic point makeup, used their favorite color as a criterion when selecting point makeups and apparel color when applying lipsticks and cheek creams.

The compressive strength of horizontal joints in precast concrete large panel structures depends on parameters such as grout and panel strength, detail of joint, joint moment, width of grout column etc. As the panels are only connected at the pocket, it results in the reduction of compressive strength area. The purposes of this study are to develop the suitable grout material the joint pocket and to enable us to evaluate structural capacity. The validity of the design formulas provides us more economic system in construction. Test results of 15 specimens show that the proper construction procedure and grouting material develop the sufficient compressive strength of the wall as monolithic system.

This study developed a PDA based wireless communication radiation measuring instrument using Bluetooth. The proposed system is composed of Student Radiation Monitor of Vernier using GM (Geiger Mueller) counter tube as a radiation measuring sensor, LabPro of Vernier as a module for data collection, Promi SD 101 of Initium, which can make Bluetooth communication up to 30 m, for wireless data transmission, and HP 5550 embedded with Pocket PC 2003 as OS for data storage and display. Because GM counter tube is used as a radiation measuring sensor, the system cannot measure radiation energy but measures count volume and count rate. When the result of natural radiation measuring by the PDA based system was compared with that by a PC based system, it was found that the proposed system transmits and receives data without distortion.

The interface design of mobile products has become a hot issue recently as a variety of products are being developed for extended usages. There have been two different views on interface design of mobile products like PDAs(personal digital assistants) or cellular phone. One 치aims that the current interface design of PC cannot be directly applied because mobile products have their own specific functions and requirements. On the meantime, the other argues that an extended application of PC metaphors to mobile products can have advantages because users'PC experiences can reduce the learning efforts and thus contribute to intuitive understanding mobile products. In this research, two types of PDAs, developed according to the aforementioned conflicting philosophies were compared and evaluated, based on laboratory-based usability testing conducted by novice users. The experiment consists of asking subjects to perform identical tasks for the two different types of products. The interaction data collected during usability testing were analyzed in terms of time taken, rate of success of tasks and errors. The experiment shows that there were some meaningful effects of users'experience of PC on the usability of PDAs.
