A Study on Strategies of Smart Green City - The Priority Analysis and Application of Planning Technique -

  • Purpose: The goal of this research is to identify the planning techniques of Smart Green City with Ubiquitous method and carbon-neutral city planning techniques and to induce the main planning techniques through the analysis of relative importance and practical adaptation. Method: First of all, eighteen planning techniques were derived and categorized into three organization systems and six sectors through literature review and FGI analysis considering the applicability of Ubiquitous service for carbon-neutral city planning techniques. Secondly, based on expert surveys and AHP analysis, the importance of Smart Green City planning techniques was evaluated. Thirdly, using case study, six cases related to Smart Green City were analyzed for the current status of application of planning techniques. Lastly, considering the importance of planning techniques and practical aspects, the characteristics of Smart Green City and its implication were estimated. Result: Energy, Resource and Waste and Transportation sector were identified as important sectors for Smart Green City. In addition, 'Construction of Smart Grid', 'System for Utilization of New & Renewable Energy', 'Smart Resource Circulation Management System', 'Establishment of Public Transportation Information System basis', 'Construction of Pedestrian / Bicycle oriented Road Environment' are essential planning techniques to create Smart Green City.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop planning technique for low carbon rural village planning. planning techniques (169 cases : waterside Technique 87, inland Technique 82) were extracted through a various previous studies and literature. planning techniques of 43 cases for low carbon rural village have been developed by the importance validity evaluation for planning techniques using the Delphi Method. Developed techniques can be utilized to plan low carbon rural village for Sustainable Rural Development. In addition, these techniques will be able to contribute to recognition of the need about low carbon rural village and the development of national green strategy.

  • Current techniques of residential planning are based upon planning theories and experiences which have evolved over time. These techniques are prerequisite conditions in establishing a firm foundation upon which residential sites can be developed. Residential planning techniques, which have been introduced to Korea from such areas as Western Europe, North America and Japan, have been changing as a result of attempt to properly acculturate these foreign influences into a traditional, yet rapidly progressing Korean society. It has been this objective of Korean planners, of considering domestic conditions while incorporating planning experiences of other countries, that has spearheaded Korea's phenomenal development in recent times. In this study, the changes and perspectives of residential planning concepts are examined from a historically comparative point of view. This approach allows for a macroscopic perspective on the various theories of residential planning which are constantly changing.

  • This Study aims to find out the planning aspects and detailed techniques in terms of concept of the Ecological Industrial Parks. It consists of the three parts : Firstly, according to theoretical review, this study gives a definition of the concept of ecological industrial parks. Secondly, it institutes planning aspects of ecological industrial parks based on the main concept. Thirdly, 8 case studies show us analysis of detailed techniques used each planning aspects. Ecological industrial parks mean industrial systems which make energy and substance circulated in order to reduce environmental pollutions inside and outside of park like natural ecosystem. To actualize ecological industrial parks, we have to adopt 3 planning aspects which are energy and substance recycling system, environmentally-friendly site planning based on ecology concept, constructing of ecological production and management. In case study, detailed techniques from each planning aspects are shown in table 8. As a result of case study, detailed techniques about planning of energy and substance recycling system is accommodated most. On the other hand, environmentally-friendly site planning techniques based on ecological concept is used passively. And detailed techniques about constructing of ecological production and management are very various as each cases. Finally, in terms of analysis, this study shows us appliable planning when we develop domestic Ecological industrial parks.

A Study on the Planning Technique of High-rised Housing Estates Applying Smart Green City Concept : Focus on Multi-functional Administrative City 2-1 Neighborhood (스마트 그린시티 개념을 적용한 고층주거단지 계획기법에 관한 연구 : 행정중심복합도시 2-1생활권을 중심으로)

  • The goal of this research is to identify the planning techniques of high-rise housing estates applying a smart green city concept in order to understand the necessity of integrating 'planning & building' planning techniques and 'smart system' planning techniques and to analyze the current status of application. For the research, firstl, the definition of smart green city was established and high-rise housing estates planning was categorized according to a three space hierarchy, seven planning directions and 17 major features through literature review. Second, 28 'planning & building' planning techniques and 'smart system' planning techniques were derived through literature review and FGI analysis. Last, four cases in Multi-functional Administrative City were analyzed for the current status of application of planning techniques. In conclusion, planning techniques in 'Transportation Network', 'Environment-friendly layout planning of housing', 'Revitalization of green transportation', 'Utilization of new & renewable energy', 'Crime prevention and accident reduction', 'Use of high performance, and efficiency facility' main feature were identified as important planning techniques for Smart Green City and its implications were estimated.

The painting lines have bottle neck problems that is considered production capacity, number of lines and so on. The alternative solutions is decided by the result of simulation techniques.   • This study intends to select the planning techniques and develop the layouts of environmentally friendly rural villages. As the results of this study, the planning techniques of rural villages are as follows: (1) Development of agricultural technology(organic farming), (2) Environmentally friendly layout considering natural energy, conservation of natural landscape and ecosystem, and sewage and rainwater, (3) Community restoration considering joint work, economic interchange between urban people and rural residents, and unity of rural resident's opinion, and (4) Activation of rural tourism considering satisfaction of tourists, conservation of ecological and cultural resources, and resident's income increasement. According to these 4 techniques, this study also developed 4 general models: (1) land-use and flow, (2) green and blue networks, (3) networks of ecological and cultural resources, and (4) finally residential model, divided rural villages into 2 types. Therefore when we develop a countryside, we can apply to these models, considering the current ecological and cultural resources conditions.

  • Rural amenity resources show a particular rural community's identity. They also provide recreational, aesthetic and economic value. This research aimed at systematizing finding surveying techniques of rural amenity resources for planning rural community. For conducting the study, existing finding and surveying techniques of rural amenity resources in the case of comprehensive Amenity Planning of Seochen County in Choongcheongnam Province. The research findings are as followings; (1) 190 amenity resources were found in Seochen County, (2) archival research and interview methods were used for finding resources, (3) the present status and maintenance conditions were examined through on-the-spot survey, (4) resources were photographed and recorded by making descriptive notes verbally and diagrammatically.

  • The goal of this research is to identify the energy planning techniques of Smart Green City and to establish the realized plan through the analysis of Multi-functional Administrative City. For the research, eighteen planning techniques were derived and categorized into three sectors and six basic direction through literature review and Brain-storming analysis considering correlation between three goals of Smart Green City and expectation of planning technique. And Multi-functional Administrative City was analyzed for the current status of application of planning techniques focus on two application aspects. In conclusion, 'Establishing Integrated Management Center for Urban Energy', 'Building Energy Management System', 'Building Automation System', 'Green Transport System', 'Intelligent Transport System', 'Introduction of Eco-friendly Transportation' planning techniques in reduction of building energy consumption sector and green-intelligent transport system sector were identified as important techniques for Smart Green City.

  • This paper aimed at drawing out urban planning techniques and strategies for climate change adaptation. To achieve these goals, the following specific objectives were carried out: First, through a review of previous studies and related theories, thirty-three planning techniques were derived and categorized into five sectors and twelve planning goals. Second, current application level was analyzed and applicable planning techniques were derived from urban cases in US and Europe. Third, final planning techniques for climate change adaptation were derived through working group and experts' brainstorming. Lastly, strategies for climate change adaptation proposed. This paper would be the basic source and comprehensive information on establishment of urban planning for climate change adaptation.
