  • Even though there are many discussions about how to plan new content, it is difficult to find the discourse about planning new content in media academy. I tried to check how useful the semantics is in planning new content by autoethnography and how liberal art approach connect with content production field. As I had had no experience of making new current issue program, I chose forced connection method to develop new program's title 'Danbak'. By listing the meaning of 'Danbak' which means 'at once', 'without delay', 'on the spot', 'frankly', I could arrange new mechanism for the program and decide whom to invite and this could be called content planning method by semantics. This is the result of forced production environment characterized by short period for planning and small team and it shows that liberal art approach is useful enough.

  • Medical students can choose to pursue any of a large number of specialties. This diversity reflects exciting opportunities, yet it also present significant challenges, such as providing medical students with adequate resources and guidance to help them to make informed career decisions. Additionally, because the medical internship will be abolished in the near future, many Korean medical schools have recently focused on implementing a career planning and advising program. This paper describes the Careers in Medicine (CiM) program offered by the Association of American Medical Colleges as a framework for other schools to adopt or adapt as they consider the best ways to address the career counseling needs of their own students. CiM is a comprehensive career planning program that provides students with the skills, information, and resources to choose a specialty and residency program that meets their career goals. CiM follows a four-year, four-step career planning process including self-understanding, exploring a variety of medical careers, and finally choosing a specialty. The CiM program has been evaluated as successful because of widespread participation and positive feedback from medical students. The information in this study can be used to develop a formal career advising program throughout the four years of medical school.

  • The total population of Korea in 1975 was 35,281,000 and population density was $357/km^2$, which is one of the highest rate of the countries in the world. In the early part of 1960's, prior to the initiation of national family planning program in 1962, the natural population increase rate in Korea was almost 3.0%. However, due to the positive support and activity of the national family planning program, the population growth rate has been dropped right below 2.0% in 1970, and decreased to 1.7% in 1975. The average number of children per woman was 5.8 in 1961 and has decreased steadily to 3.5 in 1975. However, traditional value like the 'boy-preference' concept may bring many difficulties of lowering the fertility rate, decreasing number of children less than three in the future. Rising marriage age which had much contributed to decrease the population growth showed preferably falling trends since 1970. There is a prospect that total number of birth will be continuously increased while the fertility rate may be fallen since the age group born during 'baby-boom' soon after the Korean war are becoming the reproductive age group at present time. Considering the above mentioned factors, family planning program should be much improved and strengthened and the government support is much required in order to meet the above mentioned objectives which maintain appropriate level of the population growth.

The manu system allocates the input-output screen based on the sectors, scopes, users, frequencies, importances, and the usages of the information. The GUI(Graphic User Interface) method is used to develop input-output screens for easy use. Backward Chaining mechanism fo the Expert System is used in the diagnosis of the pig farm management and the Systems Simulators Approach is used in the pig farm management planning.

  • The natural growth rate of the Korean population has decreased from 3.0% in 1960 to 1.0% in 1990. This was done with family planning program which was introduced by the government in 1961. The family planning program focused on birth control rather than the characteristics of the individuals and motivations of contraception. People were simply forced to use the method. Whereas, Natural Contraceptive is a method of family planning based solely on the timing of intercourse with the naturally occurring' physiological manifestation of fertilization and in fertilization during the menstrual cycle. This is the combination of self fertility awareness with periodic abstinence. Natural family .planning(NFP) programs in Korea were first started in the Chun-Chen diocese of catholic church by Bishop Thomas Stewart in 1970 In 1975, the Bishops conference launched the Korea Happy Family Movement in the Catholic Hospital Association, to promote the natural family planning. An average of 70,000 people, including adolescents, college students, unmarried and married persons, arid the clergies were trained during a six-year period (1986-1991). 61.5%(24,542 people) of those who completed 3 cycles during 6 year period (1986-1991) became autonomous users and the range was from 48.1% to 78.2%. In 1986, 22.7% of NFP individuals who drooped out of the program because of the desire for conception (23.4%), the difficulty of the method used(25.8%), and the loss of interest(22.8%). During the six-year period the unplanned pregnancy rate at the NFP was 2.9%. The range of the pregnancy rate was at 1.2-9.8%. The rate was decreased as years passed. The major reason for the failure of contraceptive was error by the individuals(61.1%). The percentage of the success of conception was 18.1% of 2.979 for achieving pregnancy. The highest percentage was 58.2% (99 users) in Kwang-Joo diocese and next was 37.1% (10 users) in Chong Joo diocese.
