This study is consists of two parts. First, we analyzed two construction algorithms; CORELAP( Computerized Relationship Layout Planning) and ALDEP (Automated Layout Design Program). And we made a New Relationship Layout Planning overcoming the defaults of CORELAP and ALDEP. Second, we described the only improvement algorithm CRAFT(Computerized Relative Allocation of Facilities Technique). And we modified the CRAFT, which is considering the economic evaluation.

Distribution planning needs data of present loads, forecasted loads, sub-stations and distribution lines. Besides it needs a computer program for optimal analysis. In Kepco, The CADPAD system had been used for local distribution planning since 1989. Recently, we upgraded the I/O modules so easy to operate. And they can display optimal feeder planning on a real map. This paper is a case study of the West Inchun distribution planning using the CADPAD system. In this paper, not only optimal feeder designs and sub-station plannings, but also comparison and evaluation of various planning cases are suggested from the viewpoint of voltage drop and line losses.

Intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) is believed to be one of the best radiation treatment techniques. IMRT is able to deliver fatal doses of radiation to the tumor region with minimal exposure of critical organs. It is essential to have a comprehensive quality assurance program to assure precision and accuracy in treatment, due to the character of IMRT. We applied quality assurance technique to the Eclipse treatment planning system and sought to determine its effectiveness in patient treatment planning. An acrylic phantom, film, and an ionization chamber were used in this study.

In this study, seasonal customs are analyze the appropriate festival for each 24 seasonal divisions of the year. Recover the intrinsic value of the festival and selected the target villages and each village should investigate elements of the festival. The village were sought activation of a rural village by setting the festive season. (1) 24 seasonal divisions of the year festival is a small town festival, the festival's program is based on the experience-oriented. Based on period seasonal customs and season plays are set up 24 seasonal divisions of the year festival's program. (2) Survey area is the rural tourism village carried seven villages at Cheongju-si in Chungcheongbuk-do. (3) 24 seasonal divisions of the year festival establish as possible to the festival program is based on 24 seasonal divisions of the yearfestival seasonal customs, seven villages were set on the festival. on the season sesipung through the festive season as possible to the festival program was set up, seven villages were set on the festival. The first standard, festivals and events that are currently made. Second,now ongoing in the village is experience program and a 24 seasonal divisions of the year seasonal customs resource. (4) As a result, each period of the festival was set in the village. (5) By festival setting recover intrinsic value of the festival by taking advantage of 24 seasonal divisions of the year. The common interests of the rural town of experience, the rising interest in each town and village festivals activation of the network can be achieved.

The flight test comes at the end of the aircraft development process and is an unique part. The purposes of the flight test are to evaluate the characteristics of the aircraft and validate its design in the real operating environment. Atmospheric considerations are key elements, when the planner of flight test establishes the flight test planning. The primary objective of atmospheric considerations is to ensure safety of the vehicle. The planning through atmospheric considerations can minimize flight cancellations caused by severe weather. In this paper, we present a program for flight suitability distinction, and develop a program for calculation of available sorties.

The purpose of this study was to develop the strategy on activation of village by forest healing. Researcher conducted the questionnaire survey for forest healing village development to classify the mountain's characteristics by the three factors(linkage resource, program, facilities). In result, village characteristics were divided into two types: single element outstanding type(resource), complex element outstanding type(resource+program, resource+facilities). The development of forest healing village have to focused on the forest healing service recipient and mountain village characteristics. In conclusion, relationship between forest healing recipient and mountain characteristics was as follows: single type (resource) - public; complex type (resource+program) - chronic disease, social vulnerable people; complex type (resource+facilities) - severe disease. The detailed guideline for forest healing village needs to be established according to the mountain characteristics.

The city of Siheung in the Kyunggi-do Province has various natural resources such as the ocean, mountains, wide farmland, various types of wetlands, streams and rivers. In addition, the city has a big greenbelt, which consists of two-thirds of the area, where development has been regulated. Since the city has a relatively well-preserved natural environment, it offers a great potential for regional development. The purpose of this study is to create an eco-tourism resource plan for the Mulwang reservoir, which offers many opportunities for ecotourism in the city of Siheung. This study includes a literature review for planning elements and suggests a comprehensive plan that includes conservation, eco-restoration, route program and practice program for ecotourism in and around the site. The plan also includes eco-farming, a visitor center, an ecovillage, the chance to experience livestock farming, opportunities to learn about and experience the forest, tracking, eco-learning, an environmental interpretation facility, fishing and aquatic-oriented leisure activities. This study's process and results show possibilities that can be applied to other areas where eco-tourism using natural resources is used for regional development.

A network design problem (NDP) formulated as a mathematical program is generally used to find an optimum value to minimize or to maximize some objectives such as total travel time, social benefit, or others. NDP has, however, some limits of describing components of travel patterns like activities and trip generation due to its modeling simplicity, and also it has difficulty in including attributes of regional planning. In order to cope with such limits, this paper extends NDP to the urban planning field and proposes a mathematical program which can describe the interactions between urban social activities and transportation planning. Based on this model the authors try to optimize both urban activities and the transportation system. The model developed in this paper is tested to assess its application with a real-size regional transportation network.

This paper addresses a methodology for monitoring the first phase('92-'94) progress and its strategic implication of Highly Advanced National R&D Program(HAN or G7 project) in Korea. The conceptual framework and its strategic thrust of the interim evaluation, which is the main focus of this paper, was designed both by reviewing related literature and by analyzing the unique characteristics of the HAN Program. Actual monitoring or interim evaluation was initiated by the G7 Planning and Evaluation Committee, which was established for advising, directing, and monitoring the HAN Program, with the help of large number of experts from various industries, universities, and research institutes. The monitoring results had been reported to the related ministries and project coordinating agencies. According to the suggestion made by the G7 Planning and Evaluation Committee, several projects were suffered structural changes and one was dropped.

Virtual Manufacturing System(VMS) is a computer model that represents the precise and whole structure of manufacturing systems and simulates their physical and logical behavior in operation. In this paper, a real time simulation for the virtual factory is proposed to integrate a process planning with scheduling under distributed environments. In order to communicate the information under distributed environments, we use a server/client concept using socket program and internet.
