The purpose of this research was to investigate and analyse how Community Forest Initiatives as urban fringe management initiatives made alliances with a variety of interest groups, enrol them in the urban fringe management processes using the Actor Network Theory. The Thames Chase Community Forest Initiative was selected and its area of operation included a $97 km^2$ area of green-belt area in East London. It was a instrument far improving and protecting the unique characteristics of the countryside landscape from urban developments as well as evaluating the impact of forestry inclusion in land use planning in the urban fringe. It was operated through a tiered structure comprising the Thames Chase Joint Committee and the management team. They employed a variety of devices to speak with one voice to bring about an effective operation process and to secure the enrolment of a variety of interest groups in its operational processes. Of note, the initiative's actor network impacted on improvement to and management of the countryside landscape despite not owning any land itself. As a result, when urban fringe management initiatives will be launched in South Korea to achieve a more effective and efficient urban fringe management, local councillors and representatives from public and non-government bodies should be more responsive to local communities' views and needs and work more vigorously on their behalf through lobbying, seeking media support, and so on. Moreover, better understanding and communication between local authorities' officers and management initiatives' teams are essential to avoid duplication of work practice.

The decision making process for production planning in FMS usually involves multiple conflicting objectives and criteria. This study consists of prescreening and analytical phase. In the prescreening phase, criteria are used to reduce the set of alternative system configuration down to a small number of candidates. After this phase, a multiobjected programming model is formulated for each remainning configuration.

This paper reports on a contingency framework for selecting the most appropriate strategy to implement the enterprise Resource Planning(ERP) system in an organization. The two dimensions of our framework are information technology level and culture level of organization. For each of the four contingencies, we recommend a desirable implementation strategy, based on scope and pace of the implementation effort. ERP implementation data from ten organizations were analyzed to validate the proposed framework.

For most order-based production, it is important to meet urgent orders from important customers while maintaining high on-time delivery rate for successful supply chain management. In this paper, we propose an approach and a structure of planning system to implement Capable-To-Promise which promises the delivery time to the received order. We suggest and compare a few alternative order receiving policies for CTP.

This paper deals with the problem of determining the optimal inventory-transportation policy of the idealistically simple inventory-transportation system with the following assumptions: (1) The system consists of a single central warehouse and a single local warehouse, (2) The planning horizon is finite, (3) Demand rate is fixed costant, and so forth. Developed is the algorithm by which to identify the optimal inventory policy which minimizes the total cost incurred to the system over the given finite planning horizon. A sample numerical example is presented along with a discussion of the possible applications of the approach used n the algorithm.

기업의 정보가 방대해지고 이러한 정보에 대한 효율적이 관리의 필요성에 의해 현재 제조업, 유통서비스업, 금융업등 일반기업은 물론 공공기관에서도 ERP의 도입은 경영에 있어서 피할 수 없는 꼭 필요한 것이 되어지고 있다. 하지만, 소규모 중소기업은 초기도입비용, 업무 프로세스의 재설계에 따른 업무 부담, 전산능력 보유자의 미비등의 문제로 ERP 도입의 필요성은 인식 하지만, 도입은 결정을 쉽게 내리지 못하고 있는 상황이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 소규모 중소기업의 ERP 보급확산을 위한 SERP(Small Enterprise Resource Planning)를 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 영어 학원을 대상으로 ERP(Enterprise Resource Planning) 시스템을 적용, 웹(Web)상에서 학원교사와 관리자가 학생 개개인의 프로필, 성적, 출결, 상담 등의 학생관리 업무와 학원비 관련 회계를 동시에 처리 및 관리해 주는 웹 어플리케이션이다. 기존의 사용하기 복잡한 학원관리프로그램을 지양하며, 웹 사이트와 같은 메뉴와 페이지 단위 구성으로 누구에게나 친숙한 UI(User Interface)를 제공한다.

Since the primary purpose of information Engineering focuses on transaction or operation processing, various information needs acquired in Information Strategy Planning phase are not properly utilized from the viewpoint of decision support systems development. In this research, we suggest a case-based reasoning application that supports initial Data Warehouse Modeling by expanding the activities in Information Strategy Planning.
