  • This paper aims to make an empirical comparison between the rural landscape planning and the urban landscape planning. The research method is a contents analysis about Jeollannamdo-province Landscape Base Plan and Suncheon-city Urban Landscape Plans, and Gaerangyi Village Rural Landscape Plan out of total 111 cases of Rural Landscape Plans. The findings are as followings: firstly, the only 14 villages out of 45 villages had the province-unit landscape base plan, the city/gun-unit urban landscape plan, and the rural landscape plan in sequence periods. Secondly, it was found that the Gaerangyi Village Rural Landscape Plan was relatively coordinated with the Jeollanam Province's Landscape Base Plan, but the former was not relatively coordinated with the Suncheon City Urban Landscape Plan. Thirdly, three hierarchical discordance may drive from the difference of applicable acts and authorities concerned. However, in Suncheon City, a rural-urban integrating city, both an urban landscape plan excluding rural regions and a rural landscape plan excessively emphasizing a rural village's unique characteristics, while its administrative district is unclear are hard to be seen as a good plan fully containing Suncheon-city's full identity.

  • The purpose of study was understanding necessity of environment design for underground parking lot in residential design plan and grasping design plans of 'Activity Support' that considerate women, exclude women's unsecured feeling at underground parking lot. The inquiry analyzed 6 design plan in design competition that considerate women according to precede studies, a theory of CPTED, a design guide for wayfinding, and survey. A ramp, circulation, entrance, lighting, ventilation, and space design plan are proceed on this study The result are as below. First, a rectilinear figure ramp suits entrance plan on the circulation, but if it is not possible, cross-using of rectilinear and curvilinear figure ramp plan is desirable. Second, on the circulation plan, vehicles circulation plan and equality parking distribution plan got accomplished generally, and help senses of direction because it is planed network systemize. On a large scale underground parking lot, simplify parking circulation to convenience entrance and exit for weak in sense of direction. Third, the shape and material that‘s environmentally conscious will be in use to the entrance plan. As the first stage to the underground, artwork that women prefer can modulate the rejection of underground space. Forth, natural lighting system and ventilation can make the environment-friendly space, decrease the women’s rejection to the underground, it can also keep a natural watch on the space. Fifth, on the space design plan, it can use bright and comfortable design of wall and ground to decrease the women‘s rejection, also it is useful to the sense of direction. LED indirect lighting plan that 58.7% of women prefers on survey reflects women’s state of desire that bright and atmosphere. In addition, proper use of plans that subsidiary facilities, rest area with Sunken, and nature-friendly material can minimize differences of underground and ground parking lot.

  • This study aims at clarifying the planning methods and historical significance of Park Byung-Joo's New Seoul Blank Plan(1966) in the context of South Korea's Urban Design during the 1960-1970s. In addition, it also tries to reveal how the planner's ideas were transformed into realized urban projects in Korea. By the comparison of the New Seoul Blank Plan and these projects, we can come to understand how the new concepts of urban planning such as CIAM's planning principles, Neighborhood Unit Theory, New Town plan and green belt concept were adapted to Korean society in the 1960s and 1970s.

  • Plan S is a policy that mandates research papers supported by specific funders such as the European Community be published in open access journals. The funder supports APC to researchers, providing a chance to advance the era of gold open access, and is expected to bring significant changes to the scholarly publishing ecosystem. This study explored the impact of Plan S from the perspective of each stakeholder of the scholarly publishing ecosystem, such as funders, academic societies or publishers, authors, and libraries, through a review of previous studies. In addition, the status of Korean gold open access publishing and position for each stakeholder were identified through the collected data analysis. As a result of the analysis, the share of publishing gold open access journals in Korea was 22%, which was less than 26% worldwide. Korean funding agencies were predicting and preparing for the impact of Plan S. On the other hand, Korean academic societies produce about 70% of all papers, but there are not many open access papers except medicine (51%). The response of the Korean library was not sufficient, and it contrasted with the activities of librarians in the U.S. that actively provide research support services based on the research lifecycle. It was suggested that Korean libraries should also actively try to change the role of librarians; advising researchers to plan open access publishing in grant project applications, consulting on copyrights, and so on. This study identified the background, principles, and impact of Plan S policy that would be effective in 2021 and examined the response situation in Korea. This study is valuable in that it served as the necessary basis for revitalizing the academic publishing ecosystem in Korea.

  • This paper presents another system of multi-level skip-lot sampling plan, which can directly retum to normal inspection from any skpping inspection level when a sudden shift for the worse in the process mean occurs. All the other properties of the proposed sampling plan are similar to those of the Choi's(1993) plan. The formula of the poerating characteristic function for the proposed n-level skip-lot sampling plan is derived. Sone poerating characteristic properties for the proposed plan are graphically compared with those of the Choi's plan.

The analysis results are as follows; If the conditions are better than now, recognition is positive. Type are living together and next doors type can direct access. Some standart plan is been about room's number, house's area, bath's number and so on. Second, try to compare plan - this plan already has been used building - with standard plan. The compare result are as follows; three generation family houses - be used by whom - do not apply to standard plan. Almost houses have a three room that is less than the standard plan. All houses have a number of two bath that is less than the standard plan too. Condition of consideration is suitable to ages in next door type, but in case of living together type that consider user whom is use the inner room. Separation of entrance distinguish between the living together type and the next doors type. • This paper is to evaluate the campus master plan, which is influenced by Korean educational policy and managing organization, with respect to land use and block plans of buildings. It uses a case study method to periodically know specific details to form a master plan. It is found, at first, that design method of master plan was influenced by some educational policies and managing organization of ministry of education. Secondly, design methods have been changed according to the change of the times. Any master plan was not formulated until the 1960s. Seoul National University formed a master plan adopting radiated sector pattern for land use and a block plan in the early years of the 1970s. Chungnam National University used a squared space style with a trouble of the learned from the SNU design methods in the year 1974. A concept of axis according to topography] in Andong National University and environmental preservation in Yiosu National University was used in the 1980s. Korean Athletic Educational University used a transportation model for facilitating efficiency to use university land and making pedestrian convenient by classification with fast and slow walker's way.
