Creative Analysis of Brand Placement in Game Contents

  • This research attempts to analyze brand placement in game. Brand placement, being acclaimed as a new beneficiary model in game industry, is raising important mean of advertising. For development of game industry, the interdisciplinary study between game and advertising is indispensible. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to find creative types of brand placement in game for illuminating how advertising works in game contents. The results showed three types of brand placement in game. They are contextual type, prominent type and independent type. Contextual type is one where the brand is present within the game contents without being formally expressed: it plays a passive role. Prominent type is one where the brand is present within the game contents with being formally expressed: it plays an active role. Independent type is one where the brand is present within the game contents with being formally expressed but it is not related with the program: it plays an additional role. The research showed, among these three types, a prominent type is becoming mainstream of brand placement in game. In other words, the prominent type of brand placement is the most effective beneficial alternative in game industry.

웹툰 PPL에 대한 제품유형과 웹툰 태도의 효과 연구 (Effects of Product Type and Webtoon Attitude in Webtoon PPL)

  • 본 연구는 제품유형, 웹툰에 대한 태도가 웹툰 PPL에 대한 소비자 반응 - PPL 침입성, PPL에 대한 태도, 브랜드 태도, 구전의도, 구매의도 - 에 어떻게 영향을 미치는지 알아보았다. 또한, PPL 제시유형이 제품유형과 웹툰에 대한 태도와 어떻게 상호작용하는지 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 실용재보다 쾌락재일 경우, 웹툰 콘텐츠에 대한 태도가 부정적일 때보다 긍정적일 경우 PPL에 대한 소비자 반응이 긍정적이었다. 본 연구 결과는 또한 웹툰에 대한 태도와 PPL 제시유형 간의 상호작용을 보여준다. 웹툰에 긍정적인 독자에게는 크리에이티브 배치가, 웹툰에 부정적인 독자에게는 온셋 배치가 더 효과적인 PPL 제시유형이었다. 이러한 연구 결과를 바탕으로 이론적, 실무적 함의를 제시하고자 한다.

  • 본 연구는 제품 유형 및 PPL 제시 유형에 따른 웹툰 PPL의 효과를 연구하였다. 이를 통해 수용자들의 광고 회피를 최소화할 수 있는 효과적인 웹툰 PPL 제작방식 및 집행 방법을 찾고자 하였다. 연구를 위해 제품 유형(실용재/쾌락재), 웹툰 PPL 제시 유형(이미지형/삽입형/혼합형)에 따라 $2{\times}3$의 집단 간 실험 설계를 구성하였다. 연구결과, 브랜드 태도에 있어서 PPL유형에 따른 차이가 발생하였다. 특히 삽입형의 경우 가장 긍정적인 브랜드 태도를 형성하였다. 웹툰 콘텐츠에 대한 태도에 있어서는 쾌락재의 경우와 삽입형 PPL의 경우가 가장 긍정적인 태도를 보이는 것으로 나타났다.

배치 형태에 따른 사각형 복합 인공어초의 침하 및 세굴 특성 (Characteristics of Settlement and Scour of Square-Shaped Hybrid Reef according to Placement Types)

  • 본 연구에서는 지오그리드로 보강된 사각형 복합 인공어초의 침하 및 세굴 특성을 알아보기 위해 대형 수조 침하 실험, 2차원 흐름 수조 실험 등 다양한 실내 실험을 수행하였다. 또한 인공어초의 각 배치 형태(배치도 A; 나란히 배치된 형태, 배치도 B; 지그재그로 배치된 형태)에 따른 세굴 특성을 알아보기 위해 수치해석을 수행하였다. 실내 실험 결과 무보강된 인공어초에 비해 지오그리드가 보강된 인공어초의 침하 및 세굴 깊이가 크게 저감되었다. 인공어초 배치 형태에 따른 세굴 특성을 알아보기 위한 흐름 수조 실험과 수치해석을 수행한 결과 배치도 A의 세굴 깊이와 유속 벡터는 배치도 B보다 더 감소하는 경향을 보였다.

  • In this paper, the Lagrange dynamics is studied. A state space representation of Lagrange dynamics and control algorithm based on the state feedback pole placement are presented. The state space model presented is descriptor type linear parameter dependent system. It is shown that the control algorithms based on the linear system theory can be applicable to the state space representation of Lagrange dynamics. To show that the linear system theory can be applicable to the state space representation of Lagrange dynamics, the LMI based regional pole-placement design algorithm is developed and present two examples.

Multi-type, multi-sensor placement optimization for structural health monitoring of long span bridges

  • The paper presents a multi-objective optimization strategy for a multi-type sensor placement for Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) of long span bridges. The problem is formulated for simultaneous placement of strain sensors and accelerometers (heterogeneous network) based on application demands for SHM system. Modal Identification (MI) and Accurate Mode Shape Expansion (AMSE) were chosen as the application demands for SHM. The optimization problem is solved through the use of integer Genetic Algorithm (GA) to maximize a common metric to ensure adequate MI and AMSE. The performance of the joint optimization problem solved by GA is compared with other established methods for homogenous sensor placement. The results indicate that the use of a multi-type sensor system can improve the quality of SHM. It has also been demonstrated that use of GA improves the overall quality of the sensor placement compared to other methods for optimization of sensor placement.

  • The result of damage detection from on-site measurements is commonly polluted by unavoidable measurement noises. It is widely recognized that this side influence could be reduced to some extent if the sensor placement was properly designed. Although many methods have been proposed to find the optimal number and location of mono-type sensors, the optimal layout of multi-type sensors need further investigation, because a network of heterogeneous sensors is commonly used in engineering. In this paper, a new criterion of the optimal placement for different types of sensors is proposed. A corresponding heuristic is developed to search for good results. In addition, Monte Carlo simulation is suggested to design a robust damage detection system which contains certain redundancies. The validity of these methods is illustrated by two bridge examples.

  • Brand placement, or product placement(PPL) is one of alternative promotion means of the traditional advertising communication type, and its effectiveness is getting begger because of the increase of movies, video media, and TV networks. The product placement is a new type of advertising communication means that pays the price in the movies definitely. This study is a research on the effect of the product placement on the consumption behavior and brand image.

광양만권 산업체 맞춤 현장실습 활성화 방안 마련을 위한 인식 연구 (Recognition Research on the Field Placement Activation Plan on Demand of Gwangyang Bay Area Industry)

  • 본 연구는 광양만권 산업체 맞춤 현장실습 활성화 방안을 마련하기 위하여 Q방법을 활용하였으며, 특히 현장실습에 참여하는 다양한 이해관계집단의 구성원-산업체 종사자, 산업체 연수생, 현장실습 담당 지도교수, 현장실습 담당 교직원 등-을 대상으로 이들이 현장실습에 대해 갖는 주관적인 인식과 태도를 유형화하고, 선행연구 검토 결과와 도출된 유형별 특성을 바탕으로 현장실습 활성화를 위한 정책적 시사점을 모색하고자 하는 데 있다. 연구 결과, 산학협력형(제1유형), 수요분석형(제2유형), 현장중심교육형(제3유형) 등 3가지 유형을 도출하였고, 이러한 연구 결과를 통해 대학과 산업체 상호간 긍정적인 산학협력관계 구축과 함께 지역 산업동향 및 인력수요 분석을 통한 인력 양성 종합지원 시스템 구축, 지역 산업체 현장직무 맞춤형 교육훈련을 위한 기반 인프라 구축, 국가직무능력표준(NCS) 기반 현장중심 교육 체계로의 전환 등을 통해 광양만권 산업체 맞춤 현장실습 활성화가 가능할 것이라는 시사점을 찾을 수 있었다.

Reliabilities of distances describing bolt placement for high strength steel connections

  • In the bolted connections, bolt placements are generally described and are generally made in the direction of design effects and in the perpendicular direction to design effects. In these both directions, the reliability of the distance of bolts to the edges of connection plate and the distance of bolts to each other is investigated for high strength steel connections built up with high strength bolts in this study. For this purpose, simple SL (bearing type shear connection) and SLP (bearing type shear connection for body-fit bolts) type steel connections with St 52 grade steel plates with 8 different thicknesses and with 8.8D grade high strength bolts (HV) were constituted and analyzed under H (Dead Loads+Live Loads+Snow Loads+Roof Loads) and HZ (H Loads+Wind Loads+Earthquake Loads) loadings. Geometric properties, material properties and design actions were taken as random variables. Monte Carlo Simulation method was used to compute failure risk and the first order second moment method was used to determine the reliability indexes of those different distances describing the placement of bolts. Results obtained from computations have been presented in graphics and in a Table. Then, they were compared with some values proposed by some structural codes. Finally, new equations were constituted for minimum and maximum values of distances describing bolt placement by regression analyses performed on those results.
