A Study on the Method of Gain Setting of Digital Governor by Dynamic Calculation for Marine Prime Movers (선박 주기관 디지털 거버너의 동적 게인 설정법에 관한 연구)

  • The design concept of diesel engines for sea-going ships has been directed to Low-speed/Long-Stroke type to improve the efficiencies of combustion and propelling. But the time-delay property inevitable at such low speed engines gives much difficulties for governors to control the engine speed because they would be apt to go into unstable region especially when operating at low speed. The purpose of this paper is to study the problem of how the governor gain can be calculated dynamically in accordance with the variance of engine speed at least for an engine to be stable. In this study, the property of diesel engine was described as composed of combustion element including dead time and rotating element, and the ultimate gain for the speed control system to be located on the condition of stability limit was proposed based on the frequency characteristics. And the target gains with optimized stability also were proposed by giving proper margin to these ultimate conditions. The results were applied to a model system and the availability was confirmed to be satisfactory.

  • In this paper proposed the solar tracking system to use a fuzzy based on PC in of order to increase an output of the PV(Photovoltaic) array. The solar tracking system operated two DC motors driving by signal of photo sensor. The control of dual axes is not an easy task due to nonlinear dynamics and unavailability of the parameters. Recently, artificial intelligent control of the fuzzy control, neural-network and genetic algorithm etc. have been studies. The fuzzy control made a nonlinear dynamics to well perform and had a robust and highly efficient characteristic about a parameter variable as well as a nonlinear characteristic. Hence the fuzzy control was used to perform the tracking system after comparing with error values of setting-up, nonlinear altitude and azimuth. In this paper designed a fuzzy controller for improving output of PV array and evaluated comparison with efficient of conventional PI controller. The data which were obtained by experiment were able to show a validity of the proposed controller.

  • 광통신을 위한 구성 요소는 빛을 발생시키는 발광소자, 빛을 검출하는 수광소자 그리고 광신호를 처리하는 광신호처리 소자로 구성된다. 이때 각 소자간 광전송과 광소자에 의한 광 신호 처리 과정에서 광전송 손실이 심각하게 일어나 광정보를 상실하게 되므로 각 요소별로 광신호 증폭이 반드시 필요하다. 뿐만 아니라 완전 광화에 의한 초고속/대용량 광통신망의 구축에는 저가이며, 광집적화가 가능한 광도파로형 광증폭기가 요구되고 있다. 짧은 거리에 높은 증폭 효율을 얻기 위한 광도파로형 광증폭기를 구현하기 위해서는 광통신 파장대인 1.55$\mu\textrm{m}$ 대역의 증폭이 가능한 Er 이온을 고농도로 도핑 할 필요가 있다. 그러나 Er 이온을 단순히 고농도로 첨가하면 Er-Er 간 뭉침 현상에 의해 더 이상의 증폭이 어렵게 된다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하면서 스핀 코팅이 가능하여 저가 공정이 가능한 유/무기 졸-겔 재료 내에 Er 이온을 제어된 방법으로 첨가하고 그 결합 환경을 FT-IR 및 $^{17}$ O-NMR로 분석하였다. 유/무기 졸겔 재료 제조를 위하여 먼저 MPTS(MethAcryoxyPropylTrimethoxySilane)를 부분 가수분해한 후 ZrOCl$_2$.8$_2$O (Zirconyl Chloride Octahydrate) 와 ErCl$_3$. 6$H_2O$ (Erbium(III) Chloride Hexahydrate)를 순차적으로 결합시키고, Zr/MPTS 및 Zr/Er의 첨가비에 따른 발광 특성을 PL(photoluminescence) 스팩트럼으로 분석하여 Er 이온의 주위 결합 환경이 PL에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 또한 Si 기판에 코팅한 Er이 도핑된 유/무기 하이브리드 졸-겔 코팅막의 굴절율 등 광도파로 재료로서의 특성도 프리즘 커플러 등을 이용하여 조사하였다.

주기적으로 극성이 반전된 ZnO 구조의 형성 및 응용

  • ZnO 직접 천이형의 와이드밴드갭 화합물 반도체로써 높은 엑시톤 결합 에너지를 가짐으로 해서 광전자나 광학디바이스로의 넓은 응용범위를 갖고 있다. 최근들어 ZnO의 비선형 광학 특성이 보고 됨으로써 새로운 광학 재료로서의 연구도 기대되고 있다. 본연구에서는 새로운 주기적 반전 구조를 제안함으로 해서 극성을 가지는 화합물 반도체의 비선형 광학 디바이스로의 응용 범위를 넓히고자 한다. ZnO는 Wurtzite 구조를 가짐으로 해서 성장 방향으로 Zn-극성 및 O-극성을 가지게 된다. 이런 자연 발생적인 극성에 의해 물리적, 화학적, 광학적 특성들이 바뀌게 됨으로, 극성의 제어는 재료의 특성을 극대화 시키기 위해 아주 중요한 항목이 되어 있습니다. 본 연구에서는 손쉽고 재현성이 확보되는 방법으로써, CrN 와 Cr2O 3의 완충층을 제안하여 ZnO 극성의 제어를 이루었고, 제안된 극성 제어 방식을 이용하여 주기적으로 Zn-극성과 O-극성이 배열된 구조(PPI 구조)를 형성 하였다. 패터닝과 재성장 방법을 통해서 다양한 구조와 사이즈의 1D, 2D PPI ZnO를 제작하는데 성공하였다. 주기적인 반전구조의 제작을 확인하기 위해 PRM(piezo response miscosocpy)이라는 방법을 통하여 주기적 극성 선택성을 확인하였으며, TEM과 PL 분석법을 통하여 구조적 광학적 특성을 분석하였다. 새롭게 제안된 극성 제어 방식을 이용하여 제작된 PPI 구조를 이용하여 비선형 광학소자로의 응용성을 확인하였다. 본발표에서는 PPI ZnO 구조의 형성방법, 분석 및 응용에 대한 제안과 결과가 논의될 것이다.

A LQ-Pl Controller Tuning for TITO System (TITO시스템의 LQ-Pl제어기 동조)

  • This paper presents an optimal and robust tuning method of decentralized PI controller for the TITO second order systems to be formulated as LQR. The procedure is developed by establishing relationships between the closed-loop state equation including the decentralized PI tuning parameter and the . closed-loop state equation of LQR and by selecting the weighting factors Q and R of the cost function in order to satisfy the design specifications In frequency domain which the stability robustness and satisfied the performance guaranteed.

  • This paper proposes a fuzzy logic based vector control for the gearless traction machine drive systems using a permanent-magnet synchronous motor (PMSM). The performance of the proposed Fuzzy Logic Control(FLC)-based PMSM drive are investigated and compared to those obtained from the conventional PI controll-based drive system. We have confirmed theoretically and experimentally at different dynamic operating conditions such as step change in command speed, step change in load, etc. The comparative experimental results show that the FLC is more robust and, hence, found to be a suitable replacement of the conventional Pl controller for the high-performance elevator drive system.

  • In this paper, We propose a PID-type of self-tuning algorithm which is based on the parameter estimation and the minimization of the cost function. We use the CARIMA model for parameter estimation and determine the discrete PID controller parameters by minimizing the cost function which considers the quadratic deviations of the predicted output over the set-point as well as the control efforts. Also, The algorithm is extended by incorporating constraints of the control signal. Simulations are performed to illustrate the efficiency of the proposed method.

  • This paper is discribed to the application of PID controller for the frequency control of power systems. The proposed optimal PID controller is designed to obtain gain Parameters of P,I,D's coefficients according to optimization technique using the relatively ingeneous simplex method. The PID controller which is applied to one area, tie-line two area with(or without) exciter is showed good performance rather than that of optimal Pl controllor.

  • Tips of probe card were fabricated using MEMS technology. P-type silicon wafer with $SiO_2$ layer was used as a substrate for fabricating the probe card. Ni-Cr and Au used as seed layer for electroplating Ni were deposited on the silicon wafer. Line patterns for probing devices were formed on silicon wafer by electroplating Ni through mold which formed by MEMS technology. Bridge structure was formed by wet-etching the silicon substrate. AZ-1512 photoresist was used for protection layer of back side and DNB-H100PL-40 photoresist was used for patterning of the front side. The mold with the thickness of $60{\mu}m$ was also formed using THB-120N photoresist and probe tip with thickness of $50{\mu}m$ was fabricated by electroplating process.

  • This paper presents the design technique of the using of PlI, PID and PIDA Controllers in order to achieve the desired transient and steady state responses. The merit of the proposed technique is any tuning method is not being required. By using of the forward controller, so that all given specifications to be designed can be obtained via the root locus approach.
