  • Because the accuracy is essential, in order to get the fluency in speaking, both of them are very important in English education and in-service training programs. To get the accuracy and the fluency, the causes and phenomena of the unnatural pronunciation have to be surveyed first of all. Therefore, this article surveyed the problematic and unnatural pronunciation of Korean English teachers in elementary and secondary schools using CSL and Multi-speech. And also, tried to pinpoint what the causes of unnatural pronunciation are\ulcorner Next a procedure or steps were offered for them to speak naturally through in-service training programs. Through this analysis, it was found that elementary teachers have unnatural pronunciation below, within and beyond word level, and the secondary teacher has unnatural pronunciation within and beyond word level. Therefore, pronunciation training courses have to put emphasis on segment features first, and move to suprasegmental features for elementary teachers. For secondary teachers, pronunciation training courses have to focus on word level and move to suprasegmental features, in other words beyond word level. And these pronunciation training courses have to be run integrated.

  • This paper examines the process of embodied technology spillovers in terms of supply and demand of technology For the purpose, this paper develops a consistent framework to estimate intersectoral R&D spillovers, and to pinpoint the sectors that are the most important for innovative activities and the sectors that produce most technologically intensive products. Based on an input-output framework, the technology intensity of fourteen sectors and the interaction between the sectors in terms of technology spillovers are measured. The results indicate that knowledge-based service sectors are highly supply-pulling and value-additive, but low in terms of employments. The study found that computer services, telecommunications, technology services, and art-related services are the most technology intensive sectors.

  • A terget leaf spot of red and white clovers was observed during 1998-2000 growing seasons in several fields of Chungnam and Chungbuk provinces in Korea. Lesions were circular to oval in outline, brown to dark brown, ranging from a pinpoint to 3-4 mm in diameter, often concentrically zonate and presenting a target effect. A fungus associated with the disease was identified as Stemphylium sarciniforme based on the morphological characteristics of the conidiophores and conidia. The fungus was pathogenic on red and white clovers in the inoculation test. This is the first record of a terget leaf spot of red and white clovers in Korea.

  • We describe a research about remote control of mobile robot based on voice command in this paper. Through real-time remote control and wireless network capabilities of an unmanned remote-control experiments and Home Security / exercise with an unmanned robot, remote control and voice recognition and voice transmission are possible to transmit on a PC using a microphone to control a robot to pinpoint of the source. Speech recognition can be controlled robot by using a remote control. In this research, speech recognition speed and direction of self-driving robot were controlled by a wireless remote control in order to verify the performance of mobile robot with two drives.

  • If you can not pinpoint the location of a desired item through union catalogs and online databases, the next best thing is to identify a special collection that is likely to have it. Many libraries have many items that are recorded only on their own premises as special collections. This paper describes the value of special collections as important information sources and the guides for determining the existence and location of special collections. Women's collection development by KWIC is introduced as a case study of special collection building in the university libraries in Korea.

  • This paper describes the algorithm which can not only take account of voltage suability but also consider small signal stability. As for voltage stability both CPF and PoC methods are utilized to pinpoint the exact voltage collapse point. Then, using the converged load flow results full system matrix is configured and its eigenvalues are computed. The suggested algorithm is applied to the Two-area system, and verified its usefulness. In addition this paper also deals with the results of analyzing the two-area system in terms of voltage stability and small signal stability.

  • In order to pinpoint the different factors responsible for magnetization reversal, we performed simulation using OOMMF micromagnetic package for rectangular shaped permalloy element having length of $1{\mu}m$, width 50-100 nm and thickness 15-80 nm with length to width ratio L/W>4. Interestingly an increase in coercivity with thickness is found for every width below a critical thickness. With increasing width and thickness, the distinct behavior of coercivity, hysteresis loops and reversal mechanism are presented. Vortex end domains are observed during the magnetization reversal beyond particular thickness, where the three dimension reversal mechanism is expected to begin, causing a sudden increase in coercivity.

  • Significant research efforts are ongoing to elucidate the complex molecular mechanisms underlying amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), which may in turn pinpoint potential therapeutic targets for treatment. The ALS research field has evolved with recent discoveries of numerous genetic mutations in ALS patients, many of which are in genes encoding RNA binding proteins (RBPs), including TDP-43, FUS, ATXN2, TAF15, EWSR1, hnRNPA1, hnRNPA2/B1, MATR3 and TIA1. Accumulating evidence from studies on these ALS-linked RBPs suggests that dysregulation of RNA metabolism, cytoplasmic mislocalization of RBPs, dysfunction in stress granule dynamics of RBPs and increased propensity of mutant RBPs to aggregate may lead to ALS pathogenesis. Here, we review current knowledge of the biological function of these RBPs and the contributions of ALS-linked mutations to disease pathogenesis.
