Morphologicol Characteristics and Genetic Variation of Gerbera (Gerbera hybrida Hort)

  • This study was conducted to analyze the morphological characteristics such as flower color, flower type, flower diameter and flower stalk, and the main annual production yield, and genetic similarity of twenty four Gerbera species growing in Korea. Most of flower colors were pink. The numerical order of flower color was pink, orange, red, double-colored, and milk-white. Majority of flower types were sin81e or semidouble flowers. A few species were double flowers. flower diameters were from 7 ㎝ to 12 ㎝, showed significant differences compared to other characteristics. Flower stalks were ranged from 55 ㎝ to 65 ㎝. Only one species was the shortest as 55 ㎝. The others were similar size as about 65 ㎝. Main annual production yields were between 190 and 400 blossoms. Fifty seven reproducible polymorphic bands from eighty primers were used for analyses of genetic similarity. The genetic similarity of 24 collected Gerberas was largely classified into five groups. The average similarity coefficient was 0.72 ranged from 0.50 to 0.90. The highest similarity coefficient was shown between 'Sardana' with red/white flower color and double flower type, and 'Tamara' with orange flower color and double flower type as 0.90.

좀부추의 생육에 미치는 칼라필름의 효과 (Effects of Color Films on the Growth of Allium senescens var. minor)

  • 좀부추의 생육에 적합한 광환경을 구명하기 위하여 여러 가지 칼라 필름을 이용하여 광투과특성, 생장특성, 무기성분과 엽록소 함량을 조사하였던 바 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다- 칼라 필름의 종류에 따른 광투과 특성에서 광질은 대조구와 투명 필름의 경우 광의 파장 별 선택적인 차단은 없었지만 기타 필름은 선택적으로 감소 또는 차단되었으며, 광량은 대조구의 광투과량을 100으로 볼 때 투명 필름이 76.5%로써 가장 높았고, 녹색 필름은 13.5%로써 가장 낮았다. 생육특성은 투명색, 황색, 핑크색 필름이 양호한 반면 녹색과 청색 필름은 저조하였다. 엽록소 함량은 청색 필름에서 0.27mg/g으로써 가장 높았지만, 황색필름은 0.16mg/g으로써 가장 낮았고, 무기 성분 함량은 녹색 필름이 질소, 인산 칼리, 칼슘, 마그네슘에서 가장 높았지만, 주황색 필름은 인산, 칼륨, 핑크색 필름은 질소, 칼리, 마그네슘에서 가장 낮았다.

  • 색이란 인간이 조형 활동을 처음 시작할 때부터 사용되어진 조형언어로서 인간이 눈으로 볼 수 있는 모든 현상 세계에 존재하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 장면 전환 검출에서 추출된 대표 프레임을 대상으로 한국의 전통색 조화를 식별한다. 전통색은 오정색과 오간색으로 분류하여 조화를 이루는지 판별하도록 한다. 빨강, 파랑, 노랑, 검정, 흰색을 오정색이라 부르고 분홍, 하늘색, 보라, 유황색, 초록을오 간색이라 하여 식별한다. 먼저, Canny 알고리즘을 이용하여 경계선을 추출한다. 그리고 경계선을 중심으로 색들을 레이블링 하고 클러스터링 한다. 마지막으로, 전통 색채 조화 식별 방법을 이용하여 전통색을 식별한다. 본 논문에서 제시한 연구는 실험을 통하여 우수성이 입증 되었다.

렌즈 염색제와 칼라 렌즈의 광흡수 특성 (The Properties of the Absorption Spectra in Tinted Material of Lens and Color Lens)

  • 렌즈 염색 powder, 염색 solution, 염색 렌즈에 대한 가시 광 영역에서 광 흡수 spectrum을 측정하였다. 염색 powder는 광 흡수가 높아 염색렌즈의 색과 전혀 다르고, 짚은 회색 칼라로 구성된다. 염색 solution의 광 흡수는 전이금속의 ion들의 에너지 분리에 의한 광흡수가 미약하게 나타나 각 색조를 구성하였다. 염색 렌즈의 광 흡수는 전이금속의 ion에 의한 에너지 분리의 광 흡수 peak가 나타나 색구성에 큰 영향을 주었다. 각 렌즈의 광 흡수 peak는 염색 시간 의존성을 갖는다. 청색칼라 렌즈는 500nm 보다 단파장에서 흡수가 크고, 이상에서는 낮게 나타났다. 황색의 경우 청색과 정반대의 광 흡수가 나타나, 녹색 칼라 렌즈의 경우 가시광 양 끝단에서 광 흡수가 크고, 중간 영역에서는 흡수가 낮았다. Pink 칼라 렌즈의 경우 녹색과 정반대의 흡수 형태로 서로 보색 관계가 나타난다. Brown 칼라 렌즈의 경우 단파장에서 최대 흡수를 갖고 장파장으로 갈수록 광 흡수가 감소한다.

한국과 이태리 패션전문가의 색채기호 비교연구 (Comparative Research on Color Preference of Fashion Specialists between Korea and Italy)

  • Globally, several ethnic groups have expressed their spirit cultures based on their ethnic identity in diverse ways. Clothing has been one of the convenient objects to express ethnic identities. Therefore, patterns and colors used in traditional costumes have worked as a means to help understanding spirit cultures of ethnic groups. Since colors help strengthening solidarity of social members based on ethnic preference and community consensus, colors have performed a crucial role as a strategic tool in the fashion business closely related to consumers' individual characteristics. In survey results, color preferences of Korean and Italian specialists showed significant differences in signboard colors and disliked colors. Many Korean fashion specialists selected pink as a preferred color, black as a clothing color, red and white as a color with high visibility, and orange as a disliked color. In case of Italy, many specialists selected red and black as highly visible colors for a signboard, and green as a disliked color. In results comparing color preference for colors between Korean and Italian fashion design specialists, there were differences in color sensibility. Since this research used data from survey conducted using a very limited and much manipulated stimuli among a wide range of color schema and patterns, the study result may not be fully generalized. In future studies, more research using diversely segmented stimuli would be needed.

황색 및 적색계 천연염료의 염색성에 관한 연구(2) (A Study on the Dyeing Properties of Yellow and Red Natural Dyes(2))

  • In order to analysis on color difference of natural dyes, I have dyed Hanji, cotton, silk fabric and exposed them to carbon arc light. The results of experiment have been analysed by Munsell's value, and compared the difference of colors which were recognized visually. Gardenia Jasminoides is monogenetic dye, but it gained darker color by pre-mordanting method used aluminum mordant agent and greenish yellow color by ferric mordant agent. whereas Curcuma, an Amur cork, and bud of pagoda tree are shown as greenish yellow color, and A barberry root, Betel nut, and Rhubarb are shown as reddish yellow color. these gained khaki colored dyed fabric by ferric mordanting. In addition, Sappan wood showed great result in pre-mordanting. Especially, it gained dark red color by aluminum pre-mordanting. The pink color was shown by post-mordanting. and Logwood showed great dyeing result in Hanji and cotton better than silk. Specially pre-mordanting was effective. Hanji and cotton showed greenish blue color by aluminum pre-mordanting, and silk showed brown color. However the color, which was recognized visually, differed from colorimeter sometimes. Therefore, such color table might be necessary for the natural dyeing.

다수전극형 전자종이 필름에서 인가전압에 따른 단일 컬러 가변에 관한 연구 (A Study on Variation of Single Color by Applied Voltage in Multi-Electrode Type Electronic Film)

  • A multielectrode electronic paper film capable of expressing a single-color image was fabricated by injecting color electronic ink into an electronic paper panel; on the basis of its reflective or transparent properties, it is possible to control the expression of six single-color images and their transmittance. In this study, a single-color image was represented by driving a multielectrode electronic paper film; color coordinates were measured. The six capable single colors were yellowish pink (0.444, 0.354), white (0.355, 0.352), black (0.241, 0.241), orange (0.514, 0.360), reddish orange (0.606, 0.338), and reddish purple (0.469, 0.145). Color particles used in this paper were black and white, by which six colors are accomplished, but more single-color images can be combined by using cyan, magenta, and yellow particles.

A Study on the Color of Natural Solvent for the Red Color Reproduction of Safflower

  • Safflower, a natural dye representing red, is the dye that materials and dyeing method are recorded in the literature, including materials and dyeing. Although the safflower is the same, the ash used as a mordant is recorded differently in each literature, which greatly affects the aesthetic perspective in realizing the traditional safflower red. Therefore, the optimal conditions for realizing the traditional safflower red were sought. The experiment was conducted by pH investigation, dyeing and color analysis by dyeing solution water, concentration, and temperature by ash, and the unique color of red was confirmed. As a result of the test, the pH point of time when the uniq ue color was expressed was 11.53 as goosefoot ash (natural bedrock water), which was 1:100 for concentration and 70℃ for temperature, which was easier to extract red pigment than other ash, indicating that it is suitable for safflower dyeing. The analysis of the ash showed that K and Si play an important role in dyeing, especially Si, which is an element that inhibits carthamon. The color of red was similar to that of KS Standard vivid purplish red in the ash of the goosefoot, and the other ash was deep purplish pink. In the light of findings, it was possible to quantify the dyeing method through traditional materials and find the standard color of red color, and it is judged to be a basic data for studying the unique color of natural materials.

  • Corbicula (Corbiculina) papyracea (Heude) is fresh water clam which lives on the sands and muds, its size was about 3~25 mm with yellow gray color. Shell width of the clam is thin and smooth and growth lines are marvelous and inside of shell colored pink or pink with red. And the clam reproduces itself through virgin generation (Park et al., 1989), ovoviviparous (Kwon et al., 2001) method. There are reports about Corbicula by Kim and Yoo (2000), Kwon et al. (1987), and Lee et al. (1985) but there aren't many report about C. (C.) papyracea. The aim of this work is to present the dynamics of D.(C.) papyracea from Chungpyeong.
