창고시스템에서 인출 배치크기에 대해 인출소요시간 (The Picking Lead Time for the Picking Batch Size in a Warehouse System)

  • This paper is to analyze the picking lead time for picking batch size in a warehouse system and to get minimum picking batch size that is the warehouse system feasible. The warehouse system consists of aisles and racks, which two racks face each other through aisle. The products are picked from the storage locations by batch size. The probability that items are picked in the each row of the rack in the aisle for order picking activity is derived. The picking lead time for picking batch size is the time passed from the first picking location to arrival at starting location in aisle picking all items included in a batch size. The picking lead time for picking batch size in an aisle is analyzed. The picking lead time for picking batch size in the whole warehouse system is obtained. The warehouse system is feasible if all items that customers order are picked from the storage locations for same period. The picking batch size that is the warehouse system feasible is obtained. The problem is analyzed, a solution procedure is developed, and a numerical example is shown to explain the problem.

  • Recent studies among various activities taking place in order-picking warehouse system have shown various researches to reduce the order-picking costs occupying more than half the total costs. One way of improving the warehouse system performance is to separate from a picking area and a reserve area in one unit rack. This study is concerned on the performance evaluation model for picking and replenishing facility of refrigerated warehouse using simulation method. In this study, we developed a mathematical model to compute the system performance solve this problem using simulation method. We demonstrate the system performance using AutoMod Simulator and verify the results to compare mathematical results of the system performance of warehouse system. A systematic approach proposed n this study for an optimal planning of order-picking warehouse is known as an effective method for planning of order-picking warehouse and a performance evaluation problem considering both picking and replenishment.

  • This paper deals with an order picking system in an automated storage and retrieval system(AS/RS). For the order picking system, two fundamental policies, the batching and the picking policies, must be selected. The batching policy determines the manner in which orders are combined for picking in each trip of picking machine. The picking policy determines the sequence of all items in each group of orders. Most of studies for the batching policy doesn't consider dynamic arrivals and due dates of orders. Therefore, we present an batching policy which considers dynamic arrivals and due dates of orders. The presented batching policy is efficient for the automated storage and retrieval system which is connected with a manufacturing system.

  • The picking process in distribution center is one of the most difficult and time-consuming process. The improvement of picking productivity is a core element which decides efficiency of the distribution center. The time to shipping on vehicles from receiving depends on the arrangement of items or picking methods. The Pick to Light system typically is used to improve the efficiency of order picking. In some cases the layout design of Pick to Light system has been performed rather than scientific analysis by a common experience. Therefore, this study analyzed the impact of picking performance by the zone arrangement method in order picking process of Pick to Light system.

배치 인출 창고시스템에서 저장/인출 차량의 주문 인출 소요시간 (The order Picking Time of the S/R Vehicle in a Batch Picking Warehouse System)

  • This paper addresses the analysis of the travel distance and order picking time of the vehicle in a aisle when items are picked by the batch in a warehouse system. Batching is to combine several orders in a single tour of the storage/retrieval machine. An advantage of batching is that the length of a tour for a batch of orders is shorter than the sum of the individual orders' tour lengths. The average travel distance and order picking time when a batch is picked in a aisle of the warehouse systems are analyzed for the batch size. And when the vehicle is idle, the dwell point of the vehicle to minimize to the response distance is analyzed. As the batch size is increased, average order picking time per item is decreased. The problem is analyzed and a numerical example is showed to explain the problem.

  • A robot system was developed to pick desired colony. This robot system consisted of an image acquisition process which acquires the image information of colony, an illumination device which irradiates the object once when it gets the image of it, a picking head, a replicating head, a bed for fixing well-plates, and a sterilization device of sterilizing pin stained with colony. Picking pins were washed in an ultrasonic wave washing for takes ten seconds. Picking pins were dipped for sterilizing in alcohol for ten seconds. The time for resterilizing picking pins in a heater was five seconds. This performance test resulted 100% success rate for both the colony picking and the colony replication process. Considering the procedure in which 8 pins were smeared by colony, picked on a well plate, and sterilized as one cycle, the system could carry out one cycle in 110 seconds. It took about 138 minutes to pick around 600 colonies.

  • This paper deals with planning of order-picking warehouse considering the batch order picking for transportation equipments to pick consumers' orders at a time among order-picking methods and a systematic approach method in order to analyze the order-picking warehouse which can perform optimal operation. To estimate an operating time of transportation equipments to carry out order-picking, this paper suggests three operations : first, to design the refrigerated warehouse using warehouse design parameters, second, to calculate the travel time of transporters considering four types of times with the probabilistic picking frequency, and third, to analyze an order-picking warehouse to construct a simulation model with the AutoMod as a simulation tool. We apply this model to a refrigerated warehouse company in Busan.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 피킹 (Picking) 시스템이 가지는 인건비 문제와 유지보수 비용이 많이 드는 단점을 해결하기 위해 지그비 무선 통신을 이용한 피킹 시스템 설계 및 구현방법을 제안한다. 지그비 (Zigbee)를 이용한 신뢰성 있는 데이터 전송을 하기 위해 멀티 라우터 기반 스타-트리 토폴로지를 기본 라우팅 토폴로지로 설정하고 이를 위한 ID 설정 방법과 데이터 송수신 방법에 대해 정의하였다. 실험을 통해 멀티 라우터 기반 피킹 시스템의 데이터 전송 성공률이 최대 20% 더 높다는 것을 확인하였다.

  • 여기서 제시된 협동설계시스템은 인터넷망과 웹브라우저를 이용하여 공유된 가상 공간에서 협동작업이 이루어진다. 협동설계 참여자들은 인터넷을 통해 솔리드 모델러 서버에 접근하여 원하는 3D도형을 생성하고 조작한다. 이때 공유된 여러 오브젝트 중 임의의 오브젝트를 선택하는 picking문제와 여러 참여자들이 한 오브젝트에 어떤 조작을 가할 때 제어하는 concurrency 문제가 중요하게 대두된다. 본 논문에서는 오브젝트의 picking이 마우스 포인터에서의 투사되는 선과 오브젝트간에 겹치는 부분을 계산하는 방법 외에 Java 3D를 이용하여 scene graph의 노드에 picking 속성을 주는 방법, bounds를 설정하는 방법, picking test의 범위를 한정하는 방법을 사용하여 계산하는 부담을 줄이고 효과적인 picking이 이루어지도록 한다. 이어서 picking된 오브젝트에 대해 협동설계에 참여한 사람이 공유작업공간에서 action에 따라 shared lock과 exclusive lock을 사용하여 효과적인 동시성제어가 이루어지도록 한다.

  • 협동설계시스템에서의 공유 오브젝트는 3D 도형이 되며, 사용자가 임의의 오브젝트를 picking하는 문제와 그 오브젝트에 어떤 조작을 취할 때 동시성제어(concurrency)하는 문제가 생긴다. 본 논문에서는 오브젝트의 picking이 마우스 포인터에서의 ray와 오브젝트간에 intersection을 계산하는 방법 외에 scene graph의 노드에 picking 속성을 주는 방법, bounds를 설정하는 방법, picking test의 범위를 한정하는 방법을 사용하여 computation의 부담을 줄이고 효과적인 동시성제어가 이루어지도록 action에 따라 공유(shared)lock과 전용(exclusive)lock을 사용한다.
