  • 본 연구는 DQ좌표계를 이용한 다이오드 브리지형 단상 PFC의 고성능 전류제어에 관한 논문이다. 단상전원에서는 일반적인 DQ좌표계를 구성할 수 없기 때문에 3상전원과 같은 동기좌표계상의 전류제어계를 구성하기가 어렵다. 특히 다이오드 브리지형 PFC의 경우 입력전압이 정현파의 절대값 형태로 나타나므로 이상적인 전류제어가 매우 힘들다. 본 연구에서는 위상각이 0~180도만 유지하는 가상 DQ좌표계를 도입하여 동기좌표계상의 전류제어계를 구현함으로써 전류제어성능을 크게 증가시키고 역률을 1로 유지하는 알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • This paper proposes a speed control system based on a fuzzy logic approach, integrated with a simple and effective adaptive algorithms. And this paper attempts to provide a thorough comparative insight into the behavior of induction motor drive with PI, direct and improved fuzzy speed controller. A indirect vector controlled induction motor is simulated under varying operating condition. The validity of the comparative results is confirmed by simulation results for induction motor drive system.

  • This paper proposes an adaptive generalized predictive control with feedforward algorithm for steam generator level control in nuclear power plant. The proposed algorithm is shown that the parameters of N-step ahead predictors can be obtained using the parameters of one-step ahead predictor which is derived from plant model with feedforward. Using this property the proposed scheme is an adaptive algorithm which consists of GPC method and the recursive least squares algorithm for identifying the parameters of one-step ahead predictor. Also, computer simulations are performed to evaluate the performance of proposed algorithm using a mathematical model of PWR steam generator Simulation results show good performances for load variation. And the proposed algorithm shows better responses than PI controller does.

  • A neural network(NN) mechanism is proposed to modify the gait of a biped robot that walks on sloping surface using sensory inputs. The robot starts walking on a surface with no priori knowledge of the inclination of the surface. By accumulating experience during walking, the robot improves its walking gait and finally forms a gait that is adapted to the surface inclination. A neural controller is proposed to control the gait which has 72 reciprocally inhibited and excited neurons. PI control is used for position control, and the neurons are trained by a reinforcement learning mechanism. Experiments of static gait learning and pseudo dynamic learning are performed to show the validity of the proposed reinforcement learning mechanism.

  • High efficiency operation is required for motors of vehicle to increase fuel efficiency due to the regulation of exhaust gas. This paper presents a control method of fuel pressure to increase fuel efficiency and a sensorless control method of BLDC motor to get higher efficiency than conventional brushed DC motor. Initial rotor position of BLDC motor is detected from current value that is occurred by test voltage pulse and rotor is accelerated by defined sequence to enter sensorless operation mode. The algorithm to control flow rate of fuel pump uses PI controller that is control motor speed to maintain the target fuel pressure commanded by ECU.

  • Advantages of switched reluctance motor(SRM) drives make it an attractive candidate for replacing adjustable speed ac and do drives in both industrial and consumer applications. Furthermore, a simple, low cost and robust SRM drive can be efficiently operatied ill the hostile environment of an automobile. In this paper, novel topology for fast response of various load is proposed. Proposed topology adapts anti-windup PI controller at increasing speed referense and activate braking mode at decreasing speed and forward load, Experiental results show that proposed topology have fast response charecteristics at increasing and decreasing speed reference.

A simple method to optimize DC-bus capacitor in 3-phase shunt Active power filter system

  • This paper introduces a shunt active power filter with a small DC bus capacitor by adding additional low-pass filter (LPF). The DC link voltage fluctuation is impressively suppressed with a small value in spite of the low value of DC-link capacitor under the steady-state condition. Consequently, the cost and volume of power converter are significantly reduced thanks to the reduced value of DC-bus capacitor. On the other hand, an indirect control strategy is used to maintain grid-side current when non-linear loads are connected to the system. By using proportional-integral (PI) and modified repetitive controller (RC) in dq0 frame, the calculation time is greatly decreased by 6 times compared with the conventional RC, and the number of measurement devices is also minimized. As a result, the acquired total harmonic distortion (THD) is lower than 2% regardless of the load conditions. Simulation results are carried out in order to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.

  • 본 논문은 3상 4선식 인버터를 이용하여 임의의 전압 파형을 발생하기 위한 우수한 성능의 폐루프 전압 제어기를 제안하고 제어 이득 설정 방법을 제시한다. 먼저, 임의 파형 발생기에 사용된 3상 4선식 인버터 및 LC 필터 회로 구조를 분석하고, 이를 기반으로 한 전압 제어기 구조를 제안한다. 제안된 전압 제어기는 폐루프 형태의 PI 전압 제어기를 사용하고, 과도 특성 개선 및 부하 전류로 인한 전압 왜곡 방지를 위해 인버터 전류 및 부하 전류 정보를 전향 보상에 사용한다. 실험을 통해 전압 지령에 대한 응답 특성이 향상되는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

  • The operation of RC(Rod Consolidation) technology carry out highly radiation environment. It requires remote operation and automation for efficient handling and for minimizing radiation exposure to the operator. So we investigated up and down position control of shock absorber device in RC system. To verify the research experimentally, a RC system was set up and PI control method was applied. Fuzzy control method was also tested to further improve control behavior.

  • This Paper presents a solution to control the Brushless DC Motor(BLDCM) in Digital Lightening Processor(DLP) using the Linear Quadratic Regulator(LQR). Generally, The speed of BLDCM in DLP is controlled by the lead angle control or the input voltage control using PAM(Pulse Amplitude Modulation) etc. These control methods have speed overshoot in speed control and need the long time until BLDCM reaches at the steady state. In order to improve the performance, this paper present the PI speed controller using the LQR based on vector control and the rotor position detection methods at the space vector PWM inverter. The proposed methods are proved by the experimental results
