임상실습지도자의 효율성 조사와 임상평가도구 개발 (A Survey of Teaching Effectiveness and the Development of an Evaluation Instrument for Clinical Education)

  • The purpose of this study was to contribute to the development of clinical instruction by students ratings of teaching effectiveness in clinical education. The instrument used in this study was teaching effectiveness of clinical nursing by Yu and modified evaluation method by Kern and Mickelson. The results were are follows 1. Among the 12 categorial components of clinical teaching effectiveness, the highest satisfaction was 'encouraging to think for themselves' and the lowest was 'attitude of teacher and evaluation' 2. To compare teaching effectiveness between sex, 'resource for student' and 'professional competence' showed statistical significance. 3. To compare teaching effectiveness among clinical practice stage, 'encouraging' 'role model', 'professional competence', 'organization of subject mater' and 'attitude of teacher and evaluation' showed statistical significance. 5. Interrater ICCs for evaluation method did not showed statistical significance and interitem ICCs showed statistical significance. This article presents goal of clinical education, development of clinical instructor's educational program and a standardized method to measure clinical performance.

체육수업에서 반응중심 학습법이 참여태도에 미치는 영향 (Impact of Response-Based Learning in Physical Education Class on Participation Attitude)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 학생들을 대상으로 반응 중심 학습법을 통한 동기유발이 체육수업 전 후의 참여태도에 미치는 영향과 변화를 분석하여 체육수업의 실제를 파악할 수 있는 관점을 제공하고자 하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구의 대상은 C지역 소재 N초등학교 5, 6학년 126명의 학생을 학급과 성별 구분 없이 선정하였으며, 탐색적 요인분석과 요인 간 유사성을 알아보기 위한 적률상관계수를 적용하여 분석하였다. 본 연구결과에서 제시된 것과 같이 일방적인 주입식 교육이 아닌 학생들을 중심으로 한 교육으로 추진해 나가는 것이 필요하며 학생들이 적극적이고 활발한 체육수업 참여에 기여할 수 있도록 수업 전 후의 학습요인을 고려하여 융합적으로 적용하는 것이 중요하다.

집단 성교육이 초등학교 6학년생의 성 지식 및 태도에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Sex Education on the Knowledge and Attitude toward Sex in Sixth Grade Elementary School Students)

  • It is very important for elementary school students in sixth grades who are reaching the age of puberty to acquire right knowledge and desirable attitude toward sex so that can overcome psychological instability caused by physical growth, be responsible for their behaviors and lead happy lives. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to find out the effects of sex educatin in the population of primary school students. The subjects of this study were 767 six-grades in one private and two public elementary school in Seoul. The research tool was a questionnairebased on a literature review. The sex education given to the subjects included 50 minutes lecture. The research methodology included data collection done before and the sex education was given to the subjects, to assess their knowledge of, and attitude toward sex, one week later after the sex education was given to assess change in knowledge of, and attitude to, sex. The data was analyzed through pc-SAS program. real numbers, percentage, 1-test, and ANOVA were utilized. The results of this study are as follows : 1. After sex education, the score of sixth grade elementary students’ sex knowledge was higher than before(t=11.92, p=0.0001) 2. After sex education, the score of sixth grade elementary students’ sex attitude was higher than before (t=2.08, p=0.0373). From the above findings, it can be said that sex education given to the children reaching the age of puberty significantly influences their knowledge of, and attitude toward. Therefore, for children to have the sound knowledge and positive attitude of sec, it is suggested that sex education should be included in their curriculum in order that systematic sex education be practiced.

시흥시 만 5세 유아들의 영양지식·식태도·식행동 및 신체·기본운동능력 실태조사 (A Study on the Actual State of Nutrition Knowledge, Dietary Attitude, Eating Behavior, Physical Ability and Locomotion of Children Aged 5 Years in Siheung-city)

  • The purpose of this study was to measure the nutrition knowledge, dietary attitude, eating behavior, physical ability and locomotion of 5-year-old-children, and thereby to provide the fundamental information necessary to develop a nutritionrelated physical education program. A survey was performed on 143 5-years-old boys and 113 girls. The results were as follows. The average score in the nutrition knowledge item, was 7.22 out of a possible 10 points; in the dietary attitude item, 32.46 out of 50 points; in the eating behavior item, 26.67 out of 40 points. According to body measurement, there was a significant difference in height by gender (p<0.05), Significant differences in muscle mass and basal metabolic rate were also observed by gender (p<0.001). Gender also influenced the flexibility and reflexibility (p<0.001), with significant difference in balance of the right side (p<0.01). Although this study was limited by its cross-sectional study design, the body muscle (p<0.05) and basal metabolic rate (p<0.05) were observed to have a positive relation with nutritional knowledge. In addition, there was a significant positive correlation between nutritional knowledge and dietary attitude (p<0.01). According to the results, it is necessary to develop a long-term and systematic program with the combination of nutrition and physical education to develop correct dietary habits and for the balanced growth of children.

초등학생의 비만과 관련된 지식, 태도, 행태에 관한 연구 (Knowledge, Attitude and Behavior Related to Obesity in Elementary School Children)

  • Purpose: This study was carried out to investigate the knowledge of obesity and exercise , attitude to dietary habits and exercise, and physical activities and exercise in elementary school children to provide basic data for obese programs. Methods: The subjects were 850 elementary school children of grade 3-6 in C City and data were collected with a questionnaire. Results: Higher grade, female and overweight children recorded a higher knowledge score than lower grade, male and normal weight children. As for attitude to dietary habit, lower grade and female children had more positive attitude than higher grade and male children. Overweight children were more aware of the seriousness of exercise than normal weight children. In physical activity, lower grade and male children were higher than higher grade and female children. The more interested the children's family were in exercise, the higher score of physical activity they showed. Conclusion: In planning education for preventing obesity, it should give consideration to lower glade and male children. In addition, education for changing dietary habit attitude must be extended to higher grade and male children as well. It is effective to develop and apply physical activity improvement programs in the cooperation and involvement of their families.

대학생과 물리치료사의 치매노인에 대한 태도 연구 (Study on Attitude of College Students and Physical Therapists towards Seniors with Dementia)

  • Purpose : This study is aimed at offering basic data for fostering the flexible attitude of physical therapy students towards seniors with dementia and the clinical ability to deal with such patients without fear after employment. Method : We investigated 181 physical therapists and 225 university students by using questionnaires from August 12 to September 19 2013. The questionnaire that used in this study was consisted by question about general characteristics, knowledge of dementia, attitude of dementia. The following result was obtained by using SPSS 19.0. Result : Attitude scores for dementia, Physical therapist was 41.66. Physical Therapy student was 40.34. Non-student Department of Health was 39.22. Non-Department of Health student was affected by acquisition of dementia information and living with the elderly. Physical Therapy student had significant influence depending on the household monthly income. Non-Department of Health student had significant influence depending on student age. Physical therapist had significant influence in accordance with dementia information. Conclusion : The study has revealed that the following factors of the therapists influence their attitudes towards dementia: their age; educational level; whether or not they have a family member with dementia; whether or not they have obtained information on dementia. Based on the finding, it is necessary to foster the flexible attitude of students towards seniors with dementia and provide education on effective clinical approaches upon physical therapy.

예비교사를 위한 온라인 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교육과정 개발과 적용 (Development and application of online physical computing curriculum for pre-service teachers)

  • 본 연구는 예비교사를 대상으로 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교육을 온라인 환경에서 실행하기 위한 교육과정의 개발과 적용에 관한 연구이다. 먼저 ADDIE 교수설계 모형에 따라 15주 과정의 소프트웨어와 피지컬 컴퓨팅 교육과정을 설계하였다. 온라인에서 사용할 수 있는 도구로 스마트폰 기반의 EPL인 포켓코드와 그에 포함된 각종 센서를 사용한 프로그램을 주제로 교육을 실시하였다. 프로그램 적용 결과 예비교사들의 교수효능감은 개인효능감, 교수학적 지식, 테크놀로지 교수내용 지식, 결과 기대, 학생에 대한 신념이 모두 유의미하게 향상되었다. 소프트웨어 태도 부분은 소프트웨어 흥미와 소프트웨어의 가치 부분이 유의미하게 증대되었고 소프트웨어 공학자에 대한 인식은 변화가 없었다. 일반적으로 피지컬 컴퓨팅의 경우 조작 활동이 많이 들어가 온라인 환경에서 실행하기 어렵다. 해당 연구와 같이 비대면 환경 또는 블렌디드 환경에서 효율적인 교육을 지속할 수 있는 다양한 교육과정이 개발되길 기대한다.

초등학생의 성에 관한 지식과 태도 조사연구 (A Study of Elementary School Pupil's Knowledge and Attitude on Sex)

  • This study has been done in order to examine elementary school pupil's knowledge and attitudes on sex. The subjects of the study were 1904 elementary school pupils in the 5th and 6th grade of three elementary schools in Kyonggi-do, Korea. A guide book for the teachers on sexual education published by the Ministry of Education and Human Resources has been used as the tool for the study. Data analysis has been performed by using SPSS Win(l0.0) with mean, standard deviation, t-test, F-test(ANOVA), and Pearson's Correlation. The results show that the human relationship area showed the highest, next were physical development, sexual culture and sexual ethics, and the last were sex health and sexual psychology. The Pearson's correlation between each area of knowledge and attitude on sex show a significant correlation statistically in the level of p<.001 in all areas. When examined individually the highest correlation was demonstrated between physical development and sexual health and human relationship by r=.573, while it demonstrated only r=.265 the lowest between sexual ethics and physical development.

생태형 해양스포츠의 체육교육 적용을 위한 지식구조; 배구형 게임과 수영을 중심으로 (A Knowledge Structure for Physical Education Application of Ecological Marine Sports; Focusing on Volleyball Games and Swimming )

  • 이 연구는 생태형 해양스포츠의 체육교육 적용을 위한 지식구조를 구성하는 것에 목적이 있다. 구체적인 종목으로는 배구형 게임인 비치발리볼과 바다수영이 설정되었으며 연구수행을 위하여 지식구조 분석틀을 활용하였다. 연구의 타당성을 확보하기 위하여 전문가협의를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2022개정 체육과 교육과정 시안에 기반한 지식구조를 마련하였다. 둘째, 생태형 해양스포츠의 체육수업 적용 기반을 마련하였다.셋째, 비치발리볼의 지식·이해 영역, 과정·기능 영역, 가치·태도 영역의 학습 내용을 제안하였다. 넷째, 바다수영의 지식·이해 영역, 과정·기능 영역, 가치·태도 영역의 학습 내용을 제안하였다. 이 연구는 향후 도입될 2022개정 체육과 교육과정의 실현된 모습을 미리 대비하였다는 것에 의미가 있다.

노인전문병원 간호제공자의 신체적 억제대 사용 감소를 위한 교육 프로그램의 효과 (Effects of an Educational Program for the Reduction of Physical Restraint Use by Caregivers in Geriatric Hospitals)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to develop an educational program to reduce the use of physical restraints for caregivers in geriatric hospitals and to evaluate the effects of the program on cargivers' knowledge, attitude and nursing practice related to the use of physical restraints. Methods: A quasi experimental study with a non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. Participants were recruited from two geriatric hospitals. Eighteen caregivers were assigned to the experimental group and 20 to the control group. The data were collected prior to the intervention and at 6 weeks after the intervention through the use of self-administered questionnaires. Descriptive statistics, $\chi^2$ test, Fisher's exact probability test, and Mann-Whitney U test were used to analyze the data. Results: After the intervention, knowledge about physical restraints increased significantly in experimental group compared to the control group. However, there were no statistically significant differences between the groups for attitude and nursing practice involving physical restraints. Conclusion: Findings indicate that it is necessary to apply knowledge acquired through educational programs to nursing practice to reduce the use of physical restraints. User friendly guidelines for physical restraints, administrative support of institutions, and multidisciplinary approaches are required to achieve this goal.
