A Participation of Physical Therapist for Community Based Rehabilitation (지역사회중심 재활에서 물리치료사의 참여)

  • The physical therapist's participation in community based rehabilitation(CBR) is necessary, in a variety of ways, to ensure the disabled quality service. Although CBR needs the Physical Therapist's help, participation is limited due to unstable CBR policy, and because there is a lack of financial support, skilled Physical Therapist's are usually not hired. Physical Therapist's themselves do not seem to completely understand this. The experts active participation is needed for effective rehabilitation service. Therefore, the trained Physical Therspist's participation is absoutely necessary is CBR policy if it is even to provide completely effective service.

A Study on Physical Service Environment and Customer's Satisfaction in Multiplex (멀티플렉스에서의 물리적 서비스환경과 고객의 만족에 관한 연구)

  • As Lately movie industry and related market becomes larger and people have had more spare time, people's interest in multiplex grows higher, This paper studies relationships between physical service environment and customer's satisfaction in multiplex. The number of subjects in this study is 346 persons stayed at four multiplexes, among which we obtained valid responses from 326 persons through questionnaire investigation. We held hypotheses for the relationships, and for the testing, used methods are Spearman's correlation, Mann-Whitney test, etc, and for statistical analysis, SPSS 10.1 software was used. Thus, we found statistically significant results, that is, the relation between physical service environment and customer's satisfaction is positive: the higher evaluation about physical service environment is, the more customer's universal satisfaction is. Information about the significant relation's intensity of many indicators in physical service environment, which is given in this paper, can be used for attaining higher customer satisfaction and spreading more effective management activities in multiplex.

  • The purpose of this study is to make clear the importance of the physical environment as the factor of service evaluation and to establish the decisive factors with the expansion of the existing research model. This is also designed to suggest the administrative marketing strategies based on the customer research on the physical environment factors which can affect their shopping behavior who have visited the hotel restaurants. According to the results, it is obvious that physical environment have a great effect on service evaluation. It can be concluded that customers' satisfaction felt by physical environment gives positive influence on their shopping and they perceive the environment not individually but as a whole.

The Effects of Attractiveness of Service Employee's on Interpersonal Trust, Satisfaction and Loyalty (서비스 종업원의 매력성이 대인신뢰와 만족, 애호도에 미치는 영향)

  • Purpose - Most past studies related to this focused on the physical attractiveness of service employees, but this study emphasizes the social attractiveness and not just the physical attractiveness of employees. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to first categorize attractiveness as physical attractiveness and social attractiveness and to examine the impact of physical attractiveness on social attractiveness for service industry employees. Secondly, this study aimed at verifying the impact of physical attractiveness and social attractiveness on interpersonal trust. Third, it aimed at revealing the impact of interpersonal trust on customer satisfaction, as well as satisfaction on loyalty. Research design, data, and methodology - Questionnaires were distributed to customers that used beauty salon services, among the various service industries, to verify the hypothesis of this study. Also, hypothesis was analyzed with the structural equation method using Amos 20.0. Results - When presenting the results on verifying the research hypothesis, it was found that physical attractiveness had a positive impact on social attractiveness. Second, while physical attractiveness did not have a positive impact on interpersonal trust, social attractiveness was found to have a positive impact on interpersonal trust. Such results show that in forming interpersonal trust, social attractiveness was more important than physical attractiveness for service industry employees. This result is in contrast with the results of past studies, but it is different in that previous studies suggested only physical attractiveness and did not present social attractiveness in the hypothesis. Third, it was found that interpersonal trust had a positive impact on satisfaction, while satisfaction did not have a positive impact on loyalty. Conclusions - The biggest implication of this study is that it presented social attractiveness, which was rarely dealt with in past studies. Also, this study is significant in that it examined the relationship of physical attractiveness and social attractiveness. The results of this study show that in the service industry, the role of human elements such as service employees is important and that in addition to physical attractiveness, social attractiveness in the course of interaction such as communication with customers can also be an important strategic element.

  • This study aimed to identify that the physical environment of a food service company has influenced on the perceived service quality, menu quality and customer satisfaction. To achieve the purpose of this study, it reviewed the theoretical background about the physical environment, the perceived service quality, the perceived menu quality and customer satisfaction. Moreover, this study conducted a corresponding empirical analysis. For the empirical analysis, a questionnaire was given to a total of 275 regular restaurant customers at Busan area. The results of the empirical analysis were shown as follows. 1) The components of physical environment of a service company are the attractiveness, cleanliness, space & convenience and the ambient factor of physical environment. 2) For the attractiveness of the physical environment, cleanliness and the ambience factors of the physical environment have influenced on the perceived service quality and menu quality. 3) The perceived service quality has influence on the perceived the menu quality. 4) The perceived service quality and the menu quality have influence on the customer satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to suggest a revised model for library e-service quality research based on Zeithaml & Bitner's model. To achieve this purpose, this study reviews the previous literature related to the study of service quality and e-service. According to the study results, 'physical quality' is the most important factor which influences on the customer perceptions of library e-service quality. Furthermore, this study suggests eight service quality dimensions of 'physical quality' for library e-service. In addition, customer's personal factors and previous experiences with similar services can be regarded as important factors which influence on the 'physical quality' of library e-service.

  • The purpose of this study was analyse the necessity for the Scam work at home care service. The subjects of the study were 14 home m nurses who work in community and in physical ana 16 physical therapist. The data were collected from Sep. 1 to Dec. 31, 1999. The result were analysed statistically by $X^2$, t-test. The main results of this study were as follows : 1. There were statistical significances of the general characteristics between the physical therapists and the home care nurses, 2. There were statistical significances of currencies of the home us service which the subjects experienced. 3. There were no statistical significances of the necessity of team work and the participation in home care service. 4. Regarding the effects of expectation which consisted 9 items, there were statistical significances in 8 items.

  • The public health service center and its branch are, as one of public institution, responsible for providing non-profitable medical service to local residents, which can't be addressed by private medical institutes. In addition, as a planning coordinator, they need to manage local medical resources effectively to make sure local residents can be offered good-quality health service fairly and impartially. The purpose of this study was to highlight the importance of physical therapy in public health service center's successful role performance, one of treatment to which local residents had a direct access. For attaining the purpose, an investigation was made into the actual facilities of public health service center and its branches in North Cholla province, the extent of use of physicaltherapy room, and the general characteristics of physical therapists. And literatures concerned were referred to. As a result, the dominant opinion was that the current physicaltherapy room shoulder be more reinforced(38.9%) or that it should he kept as it was(46.5%). Besides, the physical therapists investigated still were serving in a poor working condition. To elevate the quality and quantity of medical service, the current way to employ expert personnels temporarily or not to guarantee the position of physiotherapists should be removed immediately. Instead, physicaltherapists should be employed as regular public official. As, in home-visit project, physiotherapist are expected to play a bigger role in rehabilitation care or the management of patients with chronic disease, the physicaltherapy room should be increased and more physicaltherapists should be provided to health service institutions.

Are Physical Environments, Service Quality, and Menu in Coffee Shop influencing Overall Satisfaction of College Students?

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate if the three selected constructs that constitutes physical environments, service quality, and importance of menu affect college student satisfaction and the number of visit to coffee shop, respectively. Frequency, reliability, factor, and multiple regression analysis were employed for the study. Most of the created variables related to physical environments, service quality, and importance of menu were found to be significant relationships with overall satisfaction and the number of visit to coffee shop. Limitations of the study and assignments for future research were discussed.

  • The Purpose of this study was to review the necessity of home care service for the handicapped. The Present momentum for home care for the handicapped become when the circulating rehabilitation service center for the handicapped was designated by the government in Korea. That was 1992. Home care service is a burgeoning segment of Korea health Service, driven by factors which include an expanding elderly population and increasing the disabled persons. To ensure quality of life for the disabled persons with diminishing financial resources allocated to health me, it is essential that community based rehabilitation and home care service be extended.
