This paper empirically tests pecking order theory. Korean listed firms are used as the samples. On the whole we find supportive results for pecking order theory. The fixed effect model on the whole period shows that as pecking order theory suggests that debt ratio decreases as cash flow. ROA, physical assets, and firm size increase. Again, it is shown that corporate debt ratio significantly decreases as cash flow or ROA increases in every sub-sample, which coincides with the prediction of pecking order theory. Corporate debt ratio significantly decreases as physical assets or jinn size increases in case of the whole sample, pre-financial crisis period, and the sub-samples by q-ratio, which also supports the prediction of pecking order theory. Statistical significance of the coefficients of physical assets or firm size completely disappears after Korean financial crisis. Perhaps it is because the role of physical assets or firm size as a mitigator of information asymmetry significantly weakens after the financial crisis as Korean financial market becomes more transparent. For small firms only size variable is negatively and significantly related with debt to assets. It seems that size is an important factor for smaller firms in making financing decision.

For many people, the digital domain is becoming as important as the real world. The virtual environment is no longer just a place for entertainment and leisure. Blockchain transactions are serious business. Digital assets are seen as investments, with as much real value as physical assets. Does the law protect rights in digital assets, such as cryptocurrencies and NFTs? This article discusses recent case law that expands the common law concept of property to digital assets.

The successful development of science parks is dependent on the relevance and delivery of a range of value propositions they offer to their stakeholders. Experience has shown that the benefits of these value propositions are 'place based' and 'time dependent', influenced by the prevailing technology, social and business environments in which they operate, and the relationship that is developed between entrepreneurs, corporates, academia and government in creating these projects, and their performance is dependent on economic, physical and networking assets they create and deploy. This paper looks at some of the history that has influenced the development of parks, lessons learnt from their planning, development and operation. It reviews these details in the context of delivering value propositions in the context of temporal, spatial, technology and entrepreneurial profile of the new idea of 'innovation districts', influencing 'city planning' and supporting 'smart specialisation strategies'.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current situation of physical and intangible assets, and to analyze the use of planning in a new cultural space creation project areas. For this study, literature survey, filed survey and participant observation methods were used for data collection. The results were as follows. 1) The project's characteristics had a variety of space utilization's scope. It was to emphasize the organizations and participants in the human side. 2) There are the pumping stations, mokgammak, mills, barbershops, marketplaces etc in physical assets, and it was worth the historic or agricultural facility. 3) The using plans of three kinds in hardware facilities, software programs, human ware(human abilities)are linked to each other organically. 4) The problems in the project's process include the administrative and institutional factors rather than planning matters.

본 연구는 우리나라 베이비부머들의 자산이 삶의 만족도에 영향을 미치는 데에 있어 우울감과 신체적 건강의 매개효과를 검증하기 위한 목적으로 시도되었다. 이를 위해 국민노후보장패널(KReIS) 5차 본조사 데이터를 사용하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 베이비부머의 자산수준은 삶의 만족도에 정(+)적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 둘째, 자산은 신체적 건강을 증가시켜 삶의 만족도를 증가시키는 긍정적 영향력도 확인할 수 있었다. 셋째, 베이비부머의 자산과 삶의 만족도 사이에 우울감과 신체적 건강이 매개효과가 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 베이비부머의 우울감을 감소시키고 신체적 건강을 증진시켜 삶의 만족도를 향상시킬 수 있는 정책적 제언을 하였다.

This study tries to explain how the relationship-specificity of invested assets affects E-collaboration and consequently on performance of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). We classify the relationship-specificity of invested assets into four types such as business process specificity, physical asset specificity, domain knowledge specificity, and site specificity. We define E-collaboration as composed of Electronic Information Sharing (EIS) and Electronic Cooperation (E-Co). In addition, we articulate firm's performance as operational and strategic one, and investigate the impacts of EIS and E-Co on its performance. The data were collected from 187 SMEs and used for analysis. Based on the survey results, we find the following: (1) EIS is directly influenced by business process specificity and physical asset specificity, (2) E-Co is affected by site specificity and domain knowledge specificity, (3) EIS has a positive and significant impact on E-Co, (4) EIS affects firm's operational performance, (5) E-Co influences on firm's strategic performance. In conclusions, the higher the level of EIS, SMEs seem to get greater operational performance, Respectively, the higher the level of E-Co, they tend to get greater strategic performance.

국립중앙박물관에서는 "고려·조선의 대외교류전"을 대비하여 고지도, 고서, 고문서 등의 지류문화재에 대하여 보존처리를 실시하였다. 일반적으로 지류문화재는 자연적인 노화 외에도 온·습도, 빛, 물리적 힘 등의 여러 가지 주변 환경에 민감하게 반응하게 된다. 온·습도 변화에 의한 수축과 팽창, 유물에 직접적으로 가해지는 곤충·곰팡이 등에 의한 생물학적 손상, 그리고 인위적으로 행해지는 물리적 힘에 의한 손상 등이 그 대표적인 예일 것이다. 이번에 보존처리를 실시한 유물들에서도 그러한 손상들을 쉽게 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 고서, 고문서 등의 보존처리 과정에서 볼 수 있었던 손상상태와 그 보존처리 내용, 그리고 지류문화재의 손상방지를 위한 간단한 응급처리 내용을 소개하고자 한다.

최근 도심형 연안정주지역은 전통적인 산업기능 쇠퇴와 부동산경기 침체로 전면개발방식보다는 역사적 문화적 가치를 활용한 재생방식으로 추진되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 부산시 영도구 영도대교 주변 수변지역의 지역자산을 조사하여 물리적 사회적 경제적 자산으로 분류한 후, 이지역의 장소가치를 높일 수 있는 통합적 재생방안을 제시하였다. 첫째, 물리적 재생은 장소와 문화적 특성을 둘째, 사회적 재생은 스토리텔링을 통한 지역브랜드를 셋째, 경제적 재생은 역사 문화적 특성을 고려하여 지역 활성화 방안을 제시하였다. 이를 통한 문화관광 인프라 구축으로 지역자산 기반형 문화체험을 제공하고, 연안정주지 일원의 도시 활력 기반을 제공함으로써 지역경제와 지역 커뮤니티 활성화를 기대할 수 있다.

본 연구는 최근 증가하는 농촌 문화예술공간의 수와 농촌의 문화적 잠재력 확대에 주목하여, 장소자산의 활용을 통해 농촌 문화예술공간의 콘텐츠를 차별화하고 경쟁력을 높이는 방안에 관해 논의하였다. 우선 농촌 문화예술공간의 현황과 역할을 파악하고, 장소 자산에 관한 이론적 논의를 검토하였다. 이를 토대로 사례연구를 진행하였으며 물리적 요소, 인적 요소, 상징적 요소로 장소자산을 분류하여 사례에 적용하였다. 연구 대상은 아미 미술관과 감자꽃 스튜디오로 선정하였으며, 분석을 위해 현장조사와 관계자 심층인터뷰를 진행하였다. 분석 결과 두 사례지는 물리적 장소 자산 중의 하나인 농촌의 폐교를 활용하고 있다는 공통점이 있으나, 그 밖의 장소자산 요소 활용에서는 차이를 보였으며 이는 서로 다른 유형의 콘텐츠 차별화 방안으로 귀결되었다. 사례 분석을 통해 농촌의 문화예술공간을 주민 친화형, 아티스트 친화형, 관광 친화형의 세 가지 유형으로 도출할 수 있었으며, 각 유형에 따라 차별화된 장소 자산의 활용과 콘텐츠 개발 방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 농촌이라는 환경에서 문화예술공간의 지속가능성을 모색하고자 하였고, 나아가 농촌 문화예술공간 활성화를 통한 농촌 지역의 문화적 재생을 도모했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

Remarkably improvements have occurred recently in the maintenance management of physical assets and productive systems, so that less wastages of energy and resources occur. The technology of maintenance is about finding and applying cost-effective ways of avoiding or overcoming performance deterioration. Maintenance is thus a vital support function in business, especially as increasingly large investments are being required in physical assets. TPM(Total Productive Maintenance) focuses on optimizing planning scheduling. Availability, performance and quality rate are other factors that affect productivity. Especially there are some losses that affect the overall equipment effectiveness(OEE). These losses lead to low values of OEE, which provides an indication of how effective the production precess is. This study explores the ways in which Korean small and medium manufacturing industries can improve OEE.
