국내 우수선수들의 철봉 Kolman 기술 동작 분석 (Motion Analysis of Kolman Technique by Korean Top Gymnasts on Horizontal Bar)

  • Objective: The aim of this study was to analyze the pattern of Kolman technique by five Korean top gymnasts including the three national athletes on horizontal bar. Method: Two digital high-speed camcorders were used with 90 frames/sec and their Kolman motions were filmed in sports science secondary school gymnasium at U city. After the kinematic and kinetic variables were carried out by Kwon3D 3.1 motion package during the whole phase, the optimized release motion was investigated by simulating the body COG path during the aerial phase. Results: Firstly, it was revealed that the average changes of hip, shoulder joint angle were 84 deg, 53 deg respectively during the functional sub-phase and the average swing phaseal time was 1.21 s. Secondly, it was revealed that the average body COG positions and velocities (Y, Z) at release were -0.65 m, 0.48 m, 1.65 m/s, 3.97 m/s respectively and the average release angle, peak height and flight time were 67 deg, 1.29 m, 0.79 s respectively. Thirdly, it was revealed that the directions of somersault of whole and lower body, tilt of lower body were counterclockwise, whereas the directions of tilt of whole body, twist of whole and lower body were clockwise at the ready for re-grasp. Lastly, it was revealed that the body COG paths were different from each other during the aerial phase followed by the different body COG velocities. Conclusion: Korean gymnasts of this study controlled their motions well in terms of the timing of hip·shoulder joint, body position, body angular momentum especially during the functional sub-phase, but their motions were different during the aerial phase. Nonetheless most of them made the adequate body position at the instant of re-grasp. It would be suggested that Korean gymnasts except S3 should increase the vertical velocity.

유도 단계별 측방낙법의 운동학적 변인 비교분석[ I ] (A Kinematic Comparative Analysis of Yoko Ukemi(side breakfall) by Each Stage in Judo[ I ])

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the comparisons of the kinematical variables when performing Yoko Ukemi(side breakfall) by three Stage in Judo. The subjects were four male judokas who were trainees Y. I. University Squad members and the Yoko Ukemi were filmed by two S-VHS 16mm video cameras(60fields/sec.). The selected times were subject to KWON 3D analysis program and kinematical analysis to compare variables of three Yoko Ukemi. Temporal variables(total time-required : TK, TR by each phase), the body part touched order on the mat and COG variables were computed through video analysis while performing right Yoko Ukemi by three stage. From the data analysis and discussion, the following conclusions were drawn : 1. Temporal variables : total time-required(TR) when performing Yoko Ukemi(side breakfall) by each stage, the first stage(full squat posture: FP : 1.11sec.) showed the shortest time, the next was 3rd(Shizenhontai, straight natural posture: NP : 1.41sec.), and 2nd(Jigohontai, straight defensive posture, DP : 1.42sec.), respectively- 2. TR when performing Yoko Ukemi(side breakfall) by each stage, and phase : the first phase(take of phase, average 0.68sec.) showed the longest time, next was the third phase(ukemi phase, 0.39sec.), and the second phase(air phase, 0.23sec.), respectively. 3. When performing yore Ukemi the body part touched order and TR on the mat : hip(0.94sec.) showed the shortest time, the next was elbow hand(0.97sec.), back(0.98sec.), and shoulder(1.04sec.) order. The hip part touched on the mat the first, but slap the mat in order to alleviate the shock try hand palm and forearm before receiving impact (difference 0.03sec,) 4. Vertical COG variables in each event by each stage : e1(ready position, average 78.33cm) moved the highest, the next was e2(jumping position, 70.14cm), e3(transition position, average 64.00cm), e4(landing position, average 35.99cm), and e5(ukemi position, average 18.32cm) order, gradual decrease respectively. And the difference of COG were showed in initial by each stage, because position fo Yoko Ukemi was difference by each stage in preparation position, but in accordance with executing of Ukemi phase that difference of COG was by decreasing, almost equal displacement in e4(landing) and e5(Ukemi)position finally.

A novel PLL control method for robust three-phase thyristor converter under sag and notch conditions

  • The paper presents a novel phase locked loop(PLL) control method for robust three-phase thyristor dual converters under sag, notch, and phase loss conditions. This method is applied to three line to line voltages of grid to derive three phase angle errors from three separated single-phase PLLs. They can substitute for abnormal phase to guarantee the synchronization in the various grid fault conditions. The performance of novel PLL with moving average method is verified through simulations.

  • New phase-energization strategies are proposed to minimize torque ripple of closed-loop controlled 2-phase Bifilar Hybrid step motors. Lead angle and conduction angles are important parameters in minimizing torque ripple factors. The phase-energization control strategy that minimizes torque ripples for the given average torque is proposed. In this paper, Fourier series are applied to produce the average torque. The strategy is performed by controlling both lead angle and conduction angle of the input voltage wave-form for each phase.

  • It is difficult but very necessary to measure the productivity of container terminals as logistics service provider. It is meaningful to find the appropriate inputs and outputs of the logistics service delivery systems and to measure the relationship between these inputs and outputs. This study proposes a model of evaluating the efficiency of container terminals. The evaluation consists of three phases. First, DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) phase, determines the efficiency score and weights of DMUs(Decision Making Unit). This phase performs through four steps : selection of DMU, selection of DEA model, determination of input and output factors, calculation of efficiency score and weights for each DMU. Secondly, CEM (Cross Evaluation Model) phase, is to calculate the cross-efficiency scores of DMUs. This phase performs through three steps: selection of CEM, determination of cross-efficiency score for each DMU and development of cross-efficiency matrix. Finally, average cross-efficiency analysis phase is to compute the average cross-efficiency score. The proposed model discriminates among DMUs and ranks DMUs, whether they are efficient or inefficient.

  • This paper proposes to use a 20[kHz] phase­shifted Full-Bridge (FB) Zero-Voltage-Switched (ZVS) PWM converter in order to drive a 600[W] magnetron, and analyzes the operational modes in a switching period. Additionally, the controller of the average anode current is designed. Simulation studies and experiments verify that the proposed converter and the average anode current controller shows good performance to drive the magnetron.

  • This paper describes as Electronic Speckle Pattern Interferometry system which has been designed for measuring vibration patterns and quantitative measurement of vibration amplitude fields by using the time average method on a object. Visbility of fringe patterns is more improved by using the phase stepping and frame average method to reduce speckle and electric noise. And a bias vibration is introduced into the reference beam to shift the $\frac{2}{0}$ fringes so that fringe shift algorithms can be used to determine vibration amplitude. The experimental results are compared to those of the FFT analyzer and the FEM model analysis.

내충격성 폴리스티렌의 고무상 입자경 예측 (Average Particle Size Prediction of Rubber Dispersed Phase in High Impact Polystyrene)

  • A correlative analysis has been carried out to predict the average particle size of rubber dispersed phase In high impact polystyrene manufactured by bulk polymerization. To do the correlation, a mechanistic model suggested previously by the author was used for describing the size of stabilizing particles agitated under the turbulent viscous shear subranges in a prepolymerization reactor, where the rubber particles were assumed to be formed at the time of phase inversion in the reactor. Viscosities required for the model were postulated to describe the overall behavior of butadiene rubber and polystyrene mixture along the wide range of conversion. The good agreement between the model and the experimental data from a plant was quite satisfactory for the prediction of the average rubber particle size of high impact polystyrene.

Information Authentication of Three-Dimensional Photon Counting Double Random Phase Encryption Using Nonlinear Maximum Average Correlation Height Filter

  • In this paper, we propose a nonlinear maximum average correlation height (MACH) filter for information authentication of photon counting double random phase encryption (DRPE). To enhance the security of DRPE, photon counting imaging can be applied because of its sparseness. However, under severely photon-starved conditions, information authentication of DRPE may not be implemented successfully. To visualize the photon counting DRPE, a three-dimensional imaging technique such as integral imaging can be used. In addition, a nonlinear MACH filter can be utilized for helping the information authentication. Therefore, in this paper, we use integral imaging and nonlinear MACH filter to implement the information authentication of photon counting DRPE. To verify our method, we implement optical experiments and computer simulation.

Organic Vapor Phase Deposition 방식을 이용한 펜타센 유기박막트랜지스터의 제작 (Fabrication of Pentacene Thin Film Transistors by using Organic Vapor Phase Deposition System)

  • In this paper, we investigated the deposition of pentacene thin film on a large area substrate by Organic Vapor Phase Deposition(OVPD) and applied it to fabrication of Organic Thin Film Transistor(OTFT). We extracted the optimum deposition conditions such as evaporation temperature of $260^{\circ}C$, carrier gas flow rate of 10 sccm and chamber vacuum pressure of 0.1 torr. We fabricated 72 OTFTs on the 4 inch size Si Wafer, Which produced the average mobility of $0.1{\pm}0.021cm^2/V{\cdot}s$, average subthreshold slope of 1.04 dec/V, average threshold voltage of -6.55 V, and off-state current is $0.973pA/{\mu}m$. The overall performance of pentacene TFTs over 4 ' wafer exhibited the uniformity with the variation less than 20 %. This proves that OVPD is a suitable methode for the deposition of organic thin film over a large area substrate.
