여름철 냉감성 의류소재 개발을 위한 비스코스 레이온 중심의 직물 제조 및 PCM 가공 (Preparation of Rayon Filament based Woven Fabric and PCM Treatment for Developing Cool Touch Summer Clothing Material)

  • To develop cool touch feeling fabrics for summer clothing material, it was manufactured several compositions of woven fabrics, having rayon multi-filament yarn (non-twisted) as warp and various kinds of yarn, such as viscose rayon multi-filament yarn (twisted), tencel$^{(R)}$ spun yarn, PET high absorbance quick dry filament yarn, and PET based rayon-like yarn, as weft. After preparing the fabrics, basic properties of the fabrics were investigated, such as air-permeability, tensile strength, absorption rate, drying rate, etc. Also, surface warm / cool sensations of the woven fabrics were assessed by Qmax Warm / Cool Touch Tester. It was observed that the fabrics composed of viscose rayon multi-filament yarn (warp) and PET high absorbance quick dry filament yarn (weft) showed excellent surface cool touch sensation-the highest Qmax value. This is because the fabric having flat shaped PET high absorbance quick dry filament shows the largest contact area with Qmax measuring plate. And, the fabric also showed superior high absorbance and quick dry property as expected. In addition, we treated phase change material (PCM) on the surface of the fabric composed of viscose rayon multi-filament yarn (warp) and PET high absorbance quick dry filament yarn(weft) to improve the cool touch feeling. However, the surface cool touch feeling was impaired by resin treated with PCM during the finishing process.

  • 고양이에 대한 사회 인식의 변화는 독립적인 삶을 살아가는 현대인의 라이프스타일과 맞아 반려묘 관련 소비시장은 지속적으로 상승할 것으로 보인다. 반려인들에게 반려동물은 단순한 애완의 목적이 아닌 함께 정서를 교감하며 가족처럼 삶의 전반에 걸쳐 함께 삶을 살아가는 존재가 되어가고 있다. 그러나 반려동물산업의 꾸준한 성장률과 고양이 사육 가구의 수가 급증하고 있음에도 불구하고 이들의 행동과 이해를 바탕으로 한 산업 관련 제품에 대한 연구가 부족하다. 이러한 이유로 본 연구는 고양이의 행동특성을 고려한 가변형 가구디자인을 제안하는데 그 목적이 있다. 가변형 가구는 주거공간의 환경과 변화에 밀접하며, 가구의 재배치를 통해 공간의 변화를 가져온다. 이러한 가변형 디자인 가구는 다기능성 및 가변성의 복합적 특징을 가지고 있어 가구의 기능을 효율적으로 높일 수 있어 반려묘 가구에 적합하다. 본 연구는 디자인 개발 논문으로 반려동물과 반려인에게 보다 나은 환경을 만들 수 있는 디자인 시장의 기초연구가 될 것을 기대하며 연구를 마치고자 한다.

ET filament의 승온열처리에 의한 구조 및 물성에 관한 연구 (A Study On the Structure and Mechanical Properties of Isothermally Annealed after Elevated heating of PET filaments)

  • The change of crystalline structure and mechanical properties of PET filaments were investigated. Samples were treated by isothermally annealed after elevated heating. Measurements were carried out of density gradient tube for crystallinity and UTM for initial modulus and yield stress. Isothermally heat treatment were carried out $100^{\circ}C$, $120^{\circ}C$, $140^{\circ}C$ for 10min., 30min., 60min, in silicon oil bath. And isothermally heat treatment after elevated heating from $20^{\circ}C$ were carried out $100^{\circ}C$, $120^{\circ}C$, $140^{\circ}C$ for 10min., 30min., 60min., with heating rate of $5^{\circ}C/min$., $10^{\circ}C/min$. From the results of this study, it found the following facts. It was found that the crystallinity, initial modulus and yield stress of samples were increased with increasing of annealed temperature and time. Also crystallinity, initial modulus and yield stress of samples which were isothermally annealed after elevated heating from $20^{\circ}C$ were larger than those of isohtermally annealed samples.

한의학 기반 반려동물용 치료기술 개발 관련 특허 분석 (Patents Trends Analysis of Korea traditional medicine based treatment technology for Pet)

  • Objective : In this study, we conducted to analysis the patents about Korean medicine based treatment technology for pet. Methods : We collected the Korean, Japan, USA, China, EU and PCT patent for the Korean medicine-based treatment technology for pet using WIPSON data base registered by October 4, 2020 were selected. Results : Patents for the development of pet Korean medicine-based treatment technology have been constantly applied since the mid-2000s, starting in 1990, with a total of 84 applications. The number of patent applications filed in Korea was the largest, after Japan and China. The detailed composition of the applications reported until now is pharmaceutical compositions for the treatment of pet were the most applied with 39%(33 cases), followed by feed used as stocks for pet at 36%(30 cases). According to the patent application rate by disease, most of applications rate composed to be associated with immunity in 2009 to 2013 with 40% of applications. In 2014 to 2018 43% of patent applications are associated with gastrointestinal/digestive system. In this regard, multiple applications were filed in the order of immunity, digestive system, obesity and urinary system. Conclusion : This study analyzed the trend of 84 patents about Korean medicine-based treatment technology for pet to date to establish the basis for future research and development. There were many applications related to immunity from 2009 to 2013, and since then, related to digestive disease from 2014 to 2018.

애견의류 착용실태 및 애견더미 생산실태 (Pet dog's Wearing Condition & Production Condition of Pet dog's Dummy)

  • This study provides basic indices for the development of a pet dog's dummy. Surveys were conducted with 71 owners of small dogs weighing under 10kg as preliminary research for information on pet dogs, uses and complaints about their clothes and demographic information to investigate wearing conditions. We collected pictures of 30 products sold in 12 brands at home and abroad to analyze size, materials, and patterns and investigate the actual production conditions. The survey results on wearing conditions indicated that 'Maltese' was the breed most often raised in households. Dogs weighing 'between 3kg and 4kg' were most common. Dogs under five years of age took up 53.5%. Most of the clothes were 'S' size, followed by 'M' and 'L' Most responded, 'The overall size does not fit' as an inconvenience when worn for long. Second, most brands developed products in three sizes. The displayed details included neck and chest circumference, back length and dummy height. Cotton and artificial leather were used most often for the outer fabric, cotton for the internal filling along with wire and aluminum for some products to maintain shape and motions. Most dummies consisted of back+outer leg, belly, inner leg and sole. Sometimes, a composition line was added by the chest shape, and an incision was placed between the body and leg for breeds with thick legs. Most patterns had a composition line in the leg connected from the belly.

고감성 의류용 Nylon/PP 온감 니트 소재의 물성 (The Physical Property of Nylon/PP Warm-up Knitted Fabric for High Emotional Garment)

  • This study investigated the physical properties of warm up yarns and their knitted fabrics including the dye affinity and color fastness to washing of these knitted fabrics according to the various dyeing times and temperatures on dyeing process. The results were summarized as follows. The tenacity of Nylon/PP warm-up yarn was 4g/d and breaking strain was 4.5%. The wet and dry thermal shrinkages were higher than those of PET warm-up yarn. The maximum heat flow rate(Qmax) of Nylon/PP warm-up knitted fabric was lower than that of PET warm-up knitted fabric and heat keeping rate(a) of Nylon/PP warm-up knitted fabric was higher as 47% than that of PET warm-up knitted fabric. It was shown that the shape retention and wearing comfort of Nylon/PP warm-up knitted fabric were better than those of PET warm-up knitted fabric. The dye-affinity(K/S) of Nylon/PP warm-up knitted fabric showed maximum value at the dyeing condition of 40minute or 50minute dyeing time with $80^{\circ}C$ dyeing temperature, but PET warm-up knitted fabric showed maximum value at the 30minute or 40minute with $110^{\circ}C$ dyeing temperature. Finally, the color fastness to washing of Nylon/PP warm-up knitted fabric showed good value as between 4 and 5 grade.

레고 마인드스톰을 활용한 반려동물 훈련 및 관리에 관한 연구 (Training and Management of Pets using Lego Mind Storms)

  • 2018년에 발행된 반려동물 관련 산업 규모 추정 및 전망에 관한 논문에 따르면 2015년 기준 우리나라 반려동물 보유 가구중 26.9%가 30대 1인 가구이며, 부부로만 구성된 1세대 가구인 것이 확인되었다. 1인가구와 맞벌이 부부가 사회적으로 증가한 것과 관련하여, 반려동물이 원하지 않는 방치 시간의 급증과 훈련시간 부족이 문제가 된다고 판단된다. 본 논문은 레고마인드스톰을 이용한 반려동물의 훈련 및 관리를 위한 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 제품 개발을 진행하였다. 레고마인드 스톰은 다양한 센서를 구비하였고, 쉬운 조립 및 비주얼 스크립팅을 통한 간단한 프로그래밍으로 반려동물을 훈련하거나 케어하는 장비를 제작 할 수 있다. 또한 자체 모듈화가 잘 되어있어, 새로운 장비로 전환 또한 쉬울 것으로 예상한다. 이 연구를 통해 반려동물시장 확대가 활발해지는 때 반려동물의 훈련과 관리에 도움이 되길 기대한다.

단열성 재료 함량에 따른 PET 원사의 기계적 물성 및 직물의 단열성에 관한 연구 (Study on the Mechanical Properties of PET Fiber and the Adiabatic Properties of PET Fabrics by their Adiabatic Material Contents)

  • Recently, the automobile industry is developing as the demand for automo- biles increases due to industrial development and population growth. In addition, many studies are being conducted to reduce heat loss inside the automobiles in order to save energy inside the automobiles due to environmental regulations. In this study, alumina, nanosilicon, and aerogel, which are adiabatic materials, were filled in PET to manufacture yarn, identify physical and mechanical properties, and weave into fabric to confirm adiabatic performance. As the content of the adiabatic material increased, the tensile strength of the fibers filled with alumina and nanosilicon decreased greatly, and the adiabatic property slightly increased. The tensile strength of fibers filled with the aerogel decreased slightly, but the adiabatic properties were greatly increased. Therefore, it is considered to be due to the large volume fraction in the PET yarn due to the low density of the aerogel.

펫패션 제품(반려견 옷)에 대한 소비자의식 및 구매성향에 관한 연구 (A Study on Consumer Consciousness and Purchasing Tendency on Pet Fashion Products(Dog Clothes))

  • This paper aimed to provide the basic data on consumers' awareness, behavioral patterns, and purchase methods for pet fashion(dog clothes). Research was conducted in April 2023 among 183 college students from universities in the Gyeonggi-do region. The analysis results are presented below. When asked if they think clothes are a daily necessity for dogs, 74.3% recognized clothes as a daily necessity for dogs. The biggest purpose of clothing for dogs was 'physical health (prevention of cold/heat, etc.)' with 60.1%. 96.7% of the respondents were very positive about the development prospects for the pet fashion industry. 46.4% of the subjects were currently living with a dog, and 30.6% of the subjects have lived with a dog for 'less than 1-3 years'. 93.0% of college students who live with a dog own dog clothes. As for the dog's clothing style, T-shirt styles without a slit were the most common at 33.6%. 81.0% of companion dog owners were found to dress their dogs when going out, and the most common reason was 'physical health (prevention of cold/heat, etc.)' at 76.6%. When purchasing dog clothes, 72.2% of the subjects considered 'fitting with the dog/convenience', and 27.8% were 'focusing on the companion's taste'. As for how to purchase dog clothes, 39.2% chose 'store visits and online purchases', 34.2% chose 'store visits and purchases', and 26.6% chose 'online purchases'. As for the most considered part when purchasing clothes for dogs, 51.9% identified 'design' and 39.2% identified 'material'. 80.7% of respondents said they would increase the purchase of dog clothes in the future.

습식 인조피혁용 바이오 폴리올/폴리에스터 폴리올을 함유한 DMF 기반 폴리우레탄의 제조 및 물성 (Preparation and Properties of DMF-Based Polyurethanes Containing Bio-Polyol/Ester-Polyol for Wet-Type Polyurethane Artificial Leather)

  • 일련의 dimethylformamide (DMF) 기반 폴리우레탄은 메틸렌 디 페닐 디 이소시아네이트(MDI) 1,4-부탄 디올 및 바이오 폴리올(1,3-프로판 디올: B-POL)에 기초한 폴리 트리 메틸렌 에테르 글리콜/폴리 에스터 폴리올(1,4-부탄디올: H-PET)으로 부터 합성하였다. 본 연구에서는 바이오 폴리올(B-POL)/폴리에스터 폴리올(H-PET)의 조성이 폴리우레탄의 물성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. B-POL/H-PET 혼합물의 B-POL 함량이 증가할수록 폴리우레탄의 소프트 세그먼트의 유리전이온도(Tgs)와 인장 강도는 감소하는 반면, 파괴 신도 및 인열 강도는 증가하였다. 한편 합성된 DMF 기반 폴리우레탄을 이용하여 습식공정으로 인조피혁을 제조하였다. 인조피혁에 형성된 다공성 셀의 평균 크기 및 밀도(단위부피당 셀의 수)에 미치는 B-POL/H-PET 조성의 영향의 차이는 거의 없는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과들로부터 바이오 폴리올 기반 폴리우레탄을 습식공정으로 제조되는 인조피혁용으로 사용하는데 별 문제가 없음을 알 수 있었다.
