섭동공분산행렬을 이용한 수정 빔형성기 방법의 신호 추정에 대한 연구 (A Study on Signal Estimation of Modified Beamformer Method using Perturbation Covariance Matrix)

  • 무선환경에서의 송신신호는 정보신호이외에 간섭, 잡음이 혼합된 신호가 수신된다. 수신기에 입사한 신호에서 원하는 신호를 추정하기 위해서 본 연구를 진행하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 수정된 빔형성기 방법으로 공간상의 목표물을 정확히 추정하는 방법에 대해서 연구하였다. 수정된 빔형성기 방법은 적응배열 안테나와 섭동공분산행렬을 사용하여 최적의 가중치를 획득하고 공간상에 빔을 주사하여 원하는 신호를 추정한다. 계산량이 많지 않은 수정 빔형성기 방법으로 분해능을 향상시켜 원하는 목표물의 신호를 추정한다. 모의실험을 통하여 수정 빔형성기 방법과 분해능이 우수한 MUSIC방법과 성능을 비교분석한다. 모의실험결과로 본 연구에서 수정 빔형성기 방법이 기존의 빔형성기 방법보다 분해능이 10도 향상되었고 MUSIC방법과 비슷한 성능의 결과를 나타내었다. 본 연구의 분해능은 약 5도까지 원하는 신호를 추정하였다.

Analysis of the Dynamic Balance Recovery Ability by External Perturbation in the Elderly

  • Objective: The aim of the study was to investigate the age-related ability of dynamic balance recovery through perturbation response during standing. Method: Six older and 6 younger adults participated in this study. External perturbation during standing as pulling force applied at the pelvic level in the anterior direction was provided to the subject. The margin of stability was quantified as a measure of postural stability or dynamic balance recovery, and using principal component analysis (PCA), the regularity of the margin of stability (MoS) was calculated. Results: Our results showed that in the older adult group, 60.99% and 28.63% of the total variance were captured using the first and second principal components (PCs), respectively, and in the younger adult group, 81.95% and 10.71% of the total variance were captured using the first and second PCs, respectively. Conclusion: Ninety percent of the total variance captured using the first two PCs indicates that the older adults had decreased regularity of the MoS than the younger adults. Thus, the results of the present study suggest that aging is associated with non-regularity of dynamic postural stability.

  • In this study, we have evaluated and classified arthritic pathology using the auscultation of knee joint sound. Six normal persons and 11 patients with knee problem were enrolled. Six patients of Group 1 needed an orthopeadic surgery because of the ruptured wounds of meniscus or ACL(Anterior Cruciate Ligament) and 5 patients of Group 2 diagnosed as osteoarthritis. Subjects were taken knee flexion and extension being seated in a chair for 20 seconds which repeated 3 times. Also subjects stood up and sit down repeatedly in the same way. After the movement of knee was divided into 18 degrees, the pitch perturbation according to partial degrees was analyzed and the DTW(Dynamic Time Warping) method was applied for normalizing a time-axis and unpaired t-test was used for statistic results among groups. As a result, the amplitude and frequency perturbations of group 2 was higher than group 1(p<0.05) and showed a characteristic 'w-shape' in angle-amplitude graph. These results suggest that the analysis of knee joint sound might assist in early diagnosis of knee joint disease.

  • In this paper, linearized dynamic characteristics of parallel line pivoted pad thrust bearing(hereinafter refer to PLP thrust bearing) was analyzed by perturbation method with inlet pressure. Inlet pressure and excitation frequency irfluence dynamic characteristics of PLP thrust bearing at all operating condition, such as angular pivot position, mass of pad. Therefore, the characteristics is have to analyzed with inlet pressure, excitation frequency, mass of pad and thickness of pad. Otherwise, the analysis is able to estimate the characteristics over or under.

  • In this paper, we presents that for discrete system with matched perturbation of uncertain parameters in the state coefficient matrix A(i.e., with perturbation of A in the range of the input matrix B), the poles of the perturbed closed loop system can be placed into the preassigned circle by the static-state feedback. We discuss the robust stabilization of the system satisfying the matching condition and application to the controller design problem.

  • In this paper, linearized dynamic characteristics of parallel line pivoted pad thrust bearing (here-inafter refer to PLP thrust bearing) was analyzed by perturbation method with inlet pressure. Inlet pressure and excitation frequency influence dynamic characteristics of PLP thrust bearing at all operating conditions, such as angular pivot position, mass of pad. Therefore, the characteristics have to be analyzed with inlet pressure, excitation frequency, mass of pad and thickness of pad. Otherwise, the analysis may be over or under estimate.

  • This paper presents a sufficient condition for robust stability of discrete-time systems with delayed nonlinear perturbations. Using state evolution method, the bound on the norms of nonlinear perturbation which guarantees the exponential stability of the systems, is found. The numerical example is given to illustrate the results.

  • The influence of observations the on the goodness-of-fit test in maximum likelihood factor analysis is investigated by using the local influence method. under an appropriate perturbation the test statistic forms a surface. One of main diagnostics is the maximum slope of the perturbed surface the other is the direction vector cor-responding to the curvature. These influence measures provide the information about jointly influence measures provide the information about jointly influential observations as well as individ-ually influential observations.

  • The problem of robust control of a underwater vehicle subject to variation of a real parameter and velocity is considered. The controller set which stabilized perturbed plant is chosen using numerical gradient method and the controller is used for nominal performance and robust performance. Simulation results are presented to show that the precise montion control of the controller is accomplished under perturbation in the system.

  • This paper introduces a new design approach for robust sliding-mode control of a class of mismatched uncertainties. For this, we propose a design method of sliding-mode surface using eigenstructure assignment to be insensitive to perturbation in sliding-mode systems, and also find a formula which is shown bounds of mismatched uncertainties for stability of the system. Simulation results are given to illustrate the approach proposed in this paper.
