전문대학 간호과의 임상 실험 효율화를 위한 연구 (A Study on the Efficiency of Clinical Practice for Nursing Education in the Junior College of Nursing in Korea)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out the present condition of clinical practice and to develop a scheme on the efficiency of clinical practice for nursing education in junior college of nursing in korea. This study was conducted by 2 sections. Ist section was to find out the present condition of clinical practice to 42 directors of nursing collegd and data were collected July 8 to September 30, 1988. 2nd section wat to develop a scheme on the efficiency of clinical practice for nursing education and subjects were nursing professors 258: and clinical nurses 223 in 42 junior nursing colleges their clinical settings in korea. So total subjects were 481. Data were collected july 8, 1988 to June 30, 1988 and were analysed to get the mean, standand deviation, frequency, percentage, t-test, x-test used by SPSS - pc. Major findings were as follows: 1. The present condition of clinical education in junior college of nursing in Korea. 1) 32 colleges (76.2%) were managed by a-yeas system. 2) 25 colleges (59.5%) were performed by individual practice for each subject. 3) 4 weeks interval between class education and clinical education was a major type among total colleges(36.6%, J5 colleges) 4) 30 colleges (71.4%) provided clinical education for all subjects that should be practiced. Nursing administration wes not practiced in 5 colleges (41.9%) among the remainder(12 colleges). The main cause that all practice subjects were not practiced was the lack or absence of suitable clinical settings(8 colleges. 66.7%) 5) 18 colleges (42.9%) responded that a clinical educator was, subject-charged professor. 6) 12 colleges (29.3%) responded that a clinical instructor was in charge of 6~10 students. 7) The evaluation ration ratio(professor to head nurse) by each evaluator was mostly 50% to 50 % and 60% to 40%, respectively 11 colleges(27.5%) The most common evaluation methods were evaluation by head nures, report, presence, conference (11 colleges, 27.5%) 8) The field carrier of professor was mostly 2 years (79 persons, 20.7%) and mean was 3.2 years. The education carrier of a professor was mostly over than 6 years (261 persons, 66.4%) and mean was 9.2 years. The charge hours per-week of a professor were mostly 16-18 hours (16 persons, 131.8%) 9) 34 colleges (82.9%) approved that clinical practice hour was class hour and 18 colleges (43.9 %) counted that 2 hours of clinical education equaled 1 hour of class education. 2. A study 'on the efficiency of clinical practice for nursing education. L) general characteristics of subjects were as follows: kung-sang province (145 persons, 30.5%), 30-34 years (190 persons, 39.8%), graduated degree (245 persons, 51.5%), 6-10 years of carrier (199 persons, 41.4%) were the majority. 2) suitable clinical setting was responded the systematic ward with responsible clinical educator by 210 persons(43.8%) The response by working field of subjects showed a significant difference (p< 0.01) 3) 259 subjects (54.0%) responded that the desirable qualfication of clinical instructor was 3-5 years of clinical experience with master degree or higher. 4) The mean score of desirable quality degree of clinical instructor was 3.43 professors, score (3.54) was significantly higher than clinical nurses' (3.28) (p<0.01) 412 subjects (86.0%) responded that the insufficient guality of instructor was improved by continuing to seek more new information in reference. 5) 196 subjects (41.4%) responded that desirable qualification of head nurse was more than 2 years of head position among 5 years of clinical experience. The response by working' field of subjects showed a significant difference (p<0.05) 6) The mean score of desirable quality degree of head nurse was 3.18 Clinical nurses' score(3.38) was significantly higher than professors' (3.01) (p<0.01) 419 subjects (87.8%) responded that the insufficient of head nurse was improved by continuing relationship with instructor and being responsible from planing of clinical education. 7) The mean score of performance level of the desirable clinical education guide incollege was 2.91 Professors' score (2.96) was significantly higher than clinical nurses' (2.84) (p<0.01) 340 subjects (71.1%) responded that the possible resolution for poor performance was the more specified syllabus of clinical education and the satisfiable orientation for students. 8) The mean score of performance level of the desirable clinical education guide in hospital was 3.03 9) 141 subjects (29.6%) responded that the desirable clinical evaluator was the group of professor, head nurse, staff nurse. Response by working field of subjects was a significant difference (p< 0.05) 10) The mean score of performance level of the evaluation content needed in clinical education was 3.50 Clinical nurses' score (3.56) was significantly higher than professors' (3.45) (p<0.01) 11) 433 subjects (90.2%) responded that6 desirable evaluation method for clinical education was the presence. 12) The mean score of performance level about how personal difference among clinical educators was minimized was 2.89 and response by working field of subjects was not significant. The cause of poor performance was too much workload at clinical settings and too many students st colleges by 386 subjects (81.1%).

응급의료 전달체계의 충실 방안 (A Study in an Effective Programs for Emergency Care Delivery System)

  • As the society is being industrialized, the fast-paced economic development that has caused substantial increase in cerebrovascular and coronary artery diseases and the industrial development and increased use of means of transportation have resulted in the rapid rise of incidents in external injuries as well. So the pubic has become acutely aware of the need for fast and effective emergency care delivery system. The goal of emergency care delivery system is to meet the emergency care needs of patients. The emergency care delivery system is seeking to efficiently satisfy the care needs of people. Therefore the purpose of this study is designed to develop an effective programs for emergency care delivery system in Korea. The following specific objectives were investigated. This emergency care delivery system must have the necessary man power, for transfering the patients, communication net work, and emergency care facilities. 1) Man power Emergency care requires n0t only specialized traning in the emergency treatment but also knowledge and experience i11 other related area, so emergency care personnel traning program should be designed in order to adapt to the specific need of emergency patients. It will be necessary to ensure professional personnel who aquires the sufficient traning and experience for emergency care and to look for legal basis. We have to develop re-educational programs for emergency nurse specialist. They should be received speciality of emergency nursing care so that they will work actively and positively in emergency part. Emergency medical doctor and nurse specialist should be given an education which is related in emergency and critical care. Emergency care personnel will continue to provide both acute and continuing care as partner with other medical team. 2) Transfering the patients. Successful management of pre-hospital care requires adequate traning for the emergency medical technician. Traning program should be required to participate in a actual first aids activites in order to have apportunities to acquire practical skills as well as theoretical knowledge. The system of emergency medical technician should be remarkablly successful with first responder firefighters. Establishing this system must add necessary ambulances operating at any given time. It will be necessary to standardize the ambulance size and equipment. Ambulance should be arranged with each and every fire station. 3) Communication net work. The head office of emergency commumication network should be arranged with the head office of fire station in community. It is proposed that Hot-line system for emergency care should be introduce. High controlled ambulance and thirtial emergency center should simultaneously equip critical-line in order to communication with each other. Ordinary ambulance and secondary emergency facility should also simultaneously equip emergency-line in order to communication with each other. 4) Emergency care facilities. Primary emergency care facilities should be covered with the ambulatory emergency patients-minor illness and injuires. Secondary emergency care facilities should be covered with the emergency admission patients. Third emergency care center should be covered with the critical patients who need special treatments and operation. Secondary and third emergency care facilities should employ emergency medical doctor and emergency nurse specialist to treat in-patients with severe and acute illness and multiple injuires. It should be fashioned for a system of emergency facilities that meets emergency patients needs. Provide incentives for increased number of emergency care facilities with traning in personal/clinical emergency care. 5) Finance It is recommended to put the finance of a emergency care on a firm basis. The emergency care delivery system should be managed by the government or accreditted organizations. In order to facilitate this relevant program the fund is needed for more efficient and effective emergency researchs, service, programs, and policy. 6) Gaining understanding and co-operation of pubic It is also important to undertake pubic education to improve understanding of first aids and C. P. R of individuals, communities and business. It is proposed that teachers and health officers be certified in C. P. R. The C. P. R education can be powerful influence save lives. Lastly appropriate emergency care information must be provided to the pubic for assisting them in choosing emergency care.

전기공사 현장대리인의 역할 및 역량에 대한 교육요구분석 (Training Needs Analysis for the Roles and Competency of Field Representatives in Electric Work)

  • 본 연구는 전기공사 현장대리인의 역할 및 역량을 도출하고, 현업에 있는 현장대리인의 교육 요구도를 확인하여 향후 국내기업에서 현장대리인이 성공적인 역할을 수행하기 위한 기초자료와 시사점을 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 (1) 전기공사 현장대리인의 역할 분석, (2) 전기공사 현장대리인의 역량 분석, (3) 전기공사 현장대리인의 역량에 대한 교육 요구분석의 3단계로 연구절차를 설정하였다. 연구방법은 전기공사 현장대리인 전문가 10명에 대한 포커스그룹 인터뷰를 수행하였고, 현업에 종사하고 있는 현장대리인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 요구분석은 현장대리인의 종요도와 현재 수준 간의 차이를 t 검정으로 분석하고, 역량 중요도와 현재수준에 대한 인식차이를 Borich 공식을 활용하여 도출하였으며, The Locus for Focus 모델을 통해 역량 중요도가 높고 불일치수준이 높은 역량을 확인하여 우선순위를 결정하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전기공사 현장대리인의 역할은 현장조사자, 서류작성자, 대관업무자 등 13개가 도출되었다. 둘째, 전기공사 현장대리인의 역량은 의사소통능력, 협력적 태도 등 총 16개 역량이 필요한 것으로 도출되었다. 현장대리인의 중요도 인식순위는 의사결정력, 의사소통능력, 실천력, 시간관리능력, 분석적사고 순으로 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 16개의 역량에 대한 현재수준과 중요도의 차이를 분석한 결과 통계적으로 모두 유의미한 차이를 보이고 있고, Borich 요구도 분석 결과 1순위로 요구되는 역량은 '의사소통능력'이었고, '실천력', '갈등관리능력', '분석적사고', '시간관리능력' 순이었다. 또한, The Locus for Focus 모델 분석 결과 제 1사분면(HH)에 포함된 역량은 '의사소통능력', '분석적사고', '의사결정력', '전문성', '시간관리능력', '실천력', '업무추진력'으로 7개 역량에 요구가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이에 최우선 순위군은 Borich 요구도와 The Locus for Focus 모델에서 공통적으로 나타난 '의사소통능력', '분석적사고', '시간관리능력', '실천력', '업무추진력' 5개 항목이었고, '의사결정력', '전문성', '갈등관리능력', '부하육성' 4개 항목은 차순위 군으로 분석되었다.

패션제품 유형에 따른 소비자 상표전환동기 차이 (Consumer Motivation for Brand-Switching According to Types of Fashion Products)

  • 본 연구는 상표전환 관련 마케팅전략 수립에 필요한 기초정보를 제공하고자, 패션제품 소비자의 상표 전환동기를 품목별로 고찰 비교하였다. 질문서를 이용한 조사연구법에 의해 이루어졌으며, 자료수집 기간은 2008년 5월~6월이었고, 총 4개 패션품목에 대한 184부의 응답자료가 요인분석, Cronbach's alpha coefficients, ANOVA 및 Duncan test에 의해 이루어졌다. 패션제품의 기능/미적 동기 및 상황적 동기와, 소비자의 사회/정서적 호기심 동기 측면에서의 상표전환동기가 패션제품 품목에 따라 유의한 차이가 있음이 확인되었다. 전체적으로, 기능/미적 요인들이 상표전환에 기여하는 정도는 청바지와 재킷의 경우가 구두와 운동화보다 더 높았다. 기능/미적 측면의 동기와 관련된 모든 변수 중 사이즈의 영향력이 가장 높게 나타나, 패션제품 소비자의 상표전환 관련 마케팅전략에는 제품 사이즈에 대한 관심이 매우 필요함을 시사하였다. 대체로 상황적 요인도 신발보다 의복의 경우에 상표전환동기로 더 많이 작용하였다. 그러나 디스카운트/쿠폰 제공 등의 촉진전략 변수가 상표전환동기로 기여하는 정도는 청바지가 운동화와 구두 및 재킷보다 낮게 나타났다. 한편 판매자의 조언능력이나 품절상황이 상표전환동기로 가장 높게 기여하는 품목은 재킷인 것으로 나타났다. 친구의 조언이나 변화에 대한 욕구 및 타 브랜드에 대한 호기심 등의 소비자 특성 관련 변수가 상표전환동기로 기여하는 정도는 신발류의 경우가 의류에서보다 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 상표전환동기의 차이는 패션제품 품목에 따라 차별화된 상표전환 관련 마케팅전략의 필요성을 보다 구체적으로 보여주고 있다고 판단된다. 아울러, 본 연구의 한계점으로 남은 연령과 성별에 따른 각 제품의 상표전환동기에 대한 연구가 뒤따라야 할 것으로 사료된다. 또한 상표전환의 정도를 보다 효율적으로 측정할 수 있는 도구의 개발이 이루어져서 보다 다양한 측면의 상표전환동기 연구가 이루어져야 할 것으로 사료된다.

떡류의 제조공정별 미생물학적 오염도 평가 (Microbiological Contamination Levels in the Processing of Korea Rice Cakes)

  • 떡은 수분활성도, pH, 보관온도 등이 미생물 증식에 적합하고 구입 후 별도 조리과정 없이 그대로 섭취하는 식품으로 미생물학적 안전문제를 자주 야기하고 있다. 본 연구는 국내 유통 떡에 문제시되는 미생물학적 위해요인을 제조공정별로 파악하고 그 위생관리 개선방안을 도출하고자 하였다. 3가지 떡 (시루떡, 가래떡, 경단)을 선정하여 원료, 제조공정 및 제조환경에 대한 미생물 오염도 분석을 실시하였다. 8가지 원재료의 오염도 분석결과 일반세균 2.5~4.5, 대장균군 ND~1.9, 진균수 1.2~2.1, B. cereus 1.0~2.1 log CFU/g수준으로 검출되었으며 E. coli, S. aureus, C. perfringens는 검출되지 않았다. 떡의 제조공정별 오염도 분석결과 원료의 불림 분쇄 공정에서 일반세균, 대장균군, 진균, B. cereus의 오염도가 증가하나 증자 후 감소하여 완제품에서 일반세균은 2.2~3.7, 대장균군 ND~1.8 log CFU/g 수준으로 나타났다. 제조환경의 미생물학적 오염도 분석결과 전처리실의 쌀분쇄기, 냉각수조, 펀칭기 등의 설비에서 오염수준이 높게 나타났으며, 전처리실 작업자의 개인 위생이 미흡한 것으로 나타났다. 작업장 공기 오염도 분석결과 청결구역 3곳에서 일반세균 34~46, 대장균군 2.5~7.0, 진균수 14~30 $CFU/plate{\cdot}5min$ 검출되어 권장 낙하세균기준을 초과하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 떡의 원재료 및 완제품의 미생물학적 오염수준은 안전하나 제조환경의 오염도는 문제시되는 것으로 나타나 제품의 교차오염 가능성을 내포하고 있는 것으로 사료된다. 따라서 제조 설비 및 표면시설에 대한 체계적인 세척 및 소독을 실시하여 미생물학적 위해를 감소하고 작업자 위생 관리 교육 프로그램을 선행하여 작업자 개인의 위생 수준 향상, 작업장 내 공기중의 미생물 관리가 함께 이루어지도록 하는 것이 필요한 것으로 여겨진다.

대학생들의 임종진료에 대한 태도 - 안락사를 중심으로 - (The College Students' Attitude toward Terminal Care and Euthanasia)

  • 목적 : 현대는 의료의 결정단계에 있어서 환자들의 보다 적극적인 참여요구와 자신의 삶에 관한 모든 것을 조절하고 결정한다는 개인의 권리에 대한 주장이 강조되고 있다. 특히 말기 질환에 대해서는 다양한 윤리 문제들이 사회적 관심의 초점이 되고 있다. 이에 저자는 임종진료에 대한 대학생들의 태도와 의사 결정에 영향을 미치는 요인 등을 분석함으로서 말기환자 관리에 도움이 되고자 본 연구를 시행하였다. 방법 : 1997년 6월 소극적 안락사에 대한 찬반여부, 호스피스에 대한 인식도, 임종에 대한 견해 등을 대학생 450명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였고 337명(74.9%)이 설문에 응했다. 결과 : 수동적 안락사를 찬성한 대학생은 213명(63.2%)이 찬성하였다. 종교가 없는 대학생에서 안락사 찬성률이 높았다(70.5% 대 56.9%, P<0.05). 호스피스를 정확히 이해하고 있었던 대학생은 48명(14.2%)에 불과했다. 호스피스를 알게된 경로로는 텔레비전 43%, 책 33.5%, 종교단체 12% 등의 순이었다. 임종장소로는 76.5%가 집을 선호했고, 임종시 배우자가 같이 있어주기를 원했으며(51.6%), 미지의 세계에 대한 두려움이 가장 컸다(41.5%). 결론 : 안락사에 관해서는 약 2/3가 찬성하였으며 호스피스에 대한 인식도는 낮았다. 죽음을 앞둔 말기환자가 남은 여생동안 인간으로서의 존엄성과 높은 삶의 질을 유지하면서 삶의 마지막 수간을 평안하게 맞이하도록 도와주는 호스피스에 대한 지속적이고 적극적인 홍보와 호스피스병원과 병상확보 등 조직적이고 체계적인 노력이 필요하다.

다공성 표면에서 현출된 지문의 정량적인 평가방법 개발을 위한 농도계 이미지 분석을 이용한 선행연구 및 응용 (A preliminary study and its application for the development of the quantitative evaluation method of developed fingerprints on porous surfaces using densitometric image analysis)

  • 범죄수사에서 지문인식은 개인 식별을 위한 가장 중요한 기술 중 하나이다. 그러나 다양한 방법으로 각각 현출된 지문을 비교하는 객관적이고 공정한 평가 방법은 존재하지 않는다. 따라서 객관적이고 정량적인 방법의 개발을 위하여 농도계 이미지 분석(densitometric image analysis) 프로그램(CP Atlas 2.0)과 Automated Fingerprint Identification System (AFIS)을 이용하여 다공성 표면에서 현출된 지문을 비교, 평가하였다. 먼저 시료지문 채취 상 최적의 압력과 유류시간 조건을 찾기 위하여 두 가지 조건을 변화시켜 날인을 한 비교적 균일한 품질을 가진 잉크지문(Inked fingerprint)을 분석하였다. AFIS 분석을 통해 얻은 특징점(minutia)수와 이미지 분석을 통해 얻은 융선 peaks의 면적 결과를 계산하여 비교한 결과 1.0 kg.f 의 압력으로 5초(sec.) 동안 유류 한 잉크지문이 육안 상 가장 선명한 융선을 보였으며 가장 많은 수의 특징점 수, 가장 넓은 융선의 peaks 면적을 갖는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다. 또한, 잠재지문 현출에 응용하기 위하여 감열지에 날인 된 잠재재문을 iodine fuming법으로 현출시켜 분석한 결과 1.0 kg.f/5 sec의 조건에서 특징점 수가 가장 많고 융선의 peaks 면적도 가장 넓게 나오는 것을 확인하였다. 추가적으로 프린트 용지에 날인한 잠재지문을 0.5 %와 5 %의 ninhydrin용액으로 현출하여 비교한 결과 2.0 kg.f/5 sec의 조건으로 날인하여 5 %의 ninhydrin용액으로 현출하였을 때 가장 좋은 결과를 갖는 것을 확인하였다. 전반적으로 이미지분석을 통하여 얻은 peaks의 평균면적이 클수록 AFIS를 통해 확인되는 특징점수가 많아진다는 것이 확인되었으며 농도계 이미지 분석을 이용한 지문 평가의 추가적인 연구를 통해 본 방법은 지문 현출 평가에 대한 객관적이고 정량적인 새로운 시험방법이 될 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

여성 카지노 시큐리티 종사원에 관한 연구 (A Study on Women's Casino Security Employees)

  • 카지노에서는 고객과 종사원의 안전을 관리하는 시큐리티 종사원들이 매우 중요한 역할을 수행하고 있다. 특히 카지노에는 여성 종사원들의 비율이 높으며, 고객들 또한 여성과 남성의 비율이 비슷하기 때문에 여성 고객 혹은 여성 종사원이 사건 사고를 경험할 확률이 남성과 비슷하거나 높을 수도 있는 상황이다. 여성의 사건사고를 처리하는 여성 시큐리티 종사원은 여성 고객과 일반 여성 종사원들에게는 여성만이 할 수 있는 시큐리티 서비스를 제공할 수 있다. 하지만 카지노에서 시큐리티 업무를 수행하는 종사원들은 대부분 남성이며, 여성의 비율은 매우 낮다. 따라서 본 연구는 현재 카지노에서 여성으로서 시큐리티 업무를 수행하고 있는 종사원들에 관한 연구로서 이들이 카지노에서 시큐리티 업무를 수행하며 경험한 다양한 내용에 대해서 알아보기 위해 질적연구를 진행하였다. 총 5명의 연구 참여자들에게 총 3회에 걸쳐 인터뷰를 실시하여 수집된 자료를 분석하고 범주화 하였다. 첫 번째 질문인 카지노 시큐리티 업무의 시작 동기에 대한 요인은 교수님의 추천, 개인의 정보검색, 지인의 추천이다. 두 번째 질문인 업무 시 필요 능력에 대한 요인은 다양한 운동 능력, 좋은 신체조건, 외국어 능력이다. 세 번째 질문에서 업무의 만족요인은 업무의 희소성, 급여의 만족, 개인의 적성과 일치, 미래에 대한 기대감이며, 업무의 불만족 요인은 업무의 위험성, 고객에 대한 스트레스, 성별에 대한 차별, 주변의 시선, 교대 근무의 피곤함이다. 네 번째 질문에서 여성 카지노 시큐리티 종사원들의 필요성에 대한 요인은 여성 고객에게 차별화된 서비스 제공, 여성 종사원의 보호, 관련 전공 여성에게 기회 제공이다. 이렇게 나온 연구결과에 대해 카지노 시큐리티업무 20년 이상의 전문가와 인터뷰를 실시하였고, 여성 카지노 시큐리티 종사원은 필요요건이기 때문에 제도적, 인식적인 개선을 통해 발전 방향을 모색해야 한다고 하였다.

국내 전철 및 가전제품을 대상으로 한 전자장 수준 실태조사 (A survey on the EMF Levels of Study and Electric Appliances in Korea)

  • The purposes of this study was to collect, analyze, and describe the MF exposure levels from subways in Korea and to measure and evaluate the MF levels generated from electric appliances used at general homes. The target subway lines were Seoul Metropolitan Line 1 to Line 8, Bundang Line, Incheon Line, Daegu Line, Gwangju Line, and Busan Line 1 and Line 2. We measured at each station in those subway lines and, all the train types (pantograph-equipped, motor-equipped, and common), and platform types(facing and isolating) were investigated by the distance(80, 200, 400 cm) from the train on 19 targeted subway lines using 3 magnetic field measuring devices (EMDEXII, Enertech Co.) during the survey from January till October, 2004. On the other hand, the levels of the 60Hz magnetic fields generated from 14 items of home electric appliances such as electric blankets, hair dryers, electric razors, etc. were measured at 10 general homes using 5 EMDEXII meters with a sampling interval of 1.5 second by the distance(surface, 30, 50, 100, 300cm ) from the target electric appliances. The survey results in the whole subway lines examined in this study were as follows; Seoul Metropolitan Line 4 using AC(alternating current) power source showed the highest mean value of $2.85{\mu}T$, followed by Seoul Metropolitan Line 1 running between Seoul and Incheon using AC($2.78{\mu}T$), Seoul Metropolitan Line 1 between Seoul and Uijongbu using AC($2.73{\mu}T$), Bundang Line using AC($1.79{\mu}T$), Seoul Metropolitan Line 1 connected from Yongsan using AC($1.67{\mu}T$), Seoul Metropolitan Line 1 between Seoul and Suwon using AC($0.79{\mu}T$), and so on. In general, the intensity of the magnetic field in the subway systems in Korea was significantly higher when using AC($2.14{\pm}0.91{\mu}T$) than when using DC($0.29{\pm}0.44{\mu}T$) power source. Among the home electric appliances examined, microwave ovens showed the highest mean value of $7.69{\mu}T$, followed by hair dryers($6.47{\mu}T$), vacuum cleaners($5.27{\mu}T$), televisions ($2.26{\mu}T$), electric blankets($1.38{\mu}T$), personal computers ($0.81{\mu}T$), and so on. Two items of electric appliances showed the excess value of $0.2{\mu}T$ at the distance of 30cm in the MF exposure level; electric razors $1.58{\pm}2.13{\mu}T$ and vacuum cleaners $0.48{\pm}0.44{\mu}T$. As a whole, this study showed a tendency that the shift of the MF levels according to the increase of distance from the electric appliances was lower than those of the results surveyed in UK and USA. As a result, this study is expected to suggest meaningful data for the future study in exposure assessment of magnetic fields and for the establishment of guidelines for subways and electric appliances in Korea. More detailed and large scaled exposure assessment studies should be performed continuously to get the various and useful information on health risk assessment of MFs in Korea.

중학교 "환경" 교과의 교수.학습 및 평가 방법 연구 (A Study on Teaching-Learning and Evaluation Methods of Environmental Studies in the Middle School)

  • This study was performed to determine appropriate teaching-learning and evaluation methods for Environmental Studies. To promote the relevance of our study to the needs of the schools and concerned educational communities of environmental education, we reviewed related literature, conducted questionnaire surveys, interviewed related teachers and administrator, held meetings with experts, and field-tested our findings. For selecting and developing teaching-learning methods of Environmental Studies, findings of educational research in general are considered. moreover, principles of environmental education, general aim of environmental education, orientations of environmental education, and developmental stages of middle school students in educational psychology were attended. In addition, relevance to the purpose of the Environmental Studies curriculum, appropriateness for value inquiry as well as knowledge inquiry, small group centered class organization, social interaction centered teaching-learning process, regional environmental situation, significance of personal environment, evaluation methods of Environmental Studies, multi- and inter-disciplinary contents of the Environmental Studies textbook, suitability to the evaluation methods of Environmental Studies, and emphasis on the social interaction in teaching-learning process were regarded. It was learned the Environmental Studies can be taught most effectively in via of holding discussion sessions, conducting actual investigation, doing experiment-practice, doing games and plate, role-playing and carrying out simulation activities, and doing inquiry. These teaching-learning methods were field-tested and proved appropriate methods for the subject. For selecting and developing evaluation method of Environmental Studies, such principles and characteristics of Environmental Studies as objective domains stated in the Environmental Studies curriculum, diversity of teaching-learning organization, were appreciated. We categorized nine evaluation methods: the teacher may conduct questionnaire surveys, testings, interviews, non-participatory observations; they may evaluate student's experiment-practice performances, reports preparation ability, ability to establish a research project, the teacher may ask the students to conduct a self-evaluation, or reciprocal evaluation. To maximize the effect of these methods, we further developed an application system. It considered three variables, that is, evaluates, evaluation objectives domains, and evaluation agent, and showed how to choose the most appropriate methods and, when necessary, how to combine uses of different methods depending on these variables. A sample evaluation instrument made on the basis of this application system was developed and tested in the classes. The system proved effective. Pilot applications of the teaching-learning methods and evaluation method were made simultaneously; and the results and their implications are as follows. Discussion program was applied in a lesson dealing with the problems of waste disposal, in which students showed active participation and creative thinking. The evaluation method used in this lesson was a multiple-choice written test for knowledge and skills. It was shown that this evaluation method and device are effective in helping students' revision of the lesson and in stimulating their creative interpretations and responces. Pupils showed great interests in the actual investigation program, and this programme was proved to be effective in enhancing students' participation. However, it was also turned out that there must be pre-arranged plans for the objects, contents and procedures of survey if this program is to effective. In this lesson, non-participatory observation methods were used with a focus on the attitudes of students. A scaled reported in general description rather than in grade. Experiment-practice programme was adopted in a lesson for purifying contaminated water and in this lesson, instruction objectives were properly established, the teaching-learning process was clearly specified and students were highly motivated. On the other hand, however, it was difficult to control the class when some groups of students require more times to complete their experiment, and sometimes different results. As regards to evaluation, performance observation test were used for assessing skills and attitudes. If teachers use well-prepared Likert scale, evaluation of all groups within a reasonablely short period of time will be possible. The most effective and successful programme in therms of students' participation and enjoyment, was the 'ah-nah-bah-dah-market' program, which is kind of game of the flea market. For better organized program of this kind, however, are essential, In this program, students appraise their own attitudes and behavior by responding to a written questionnaire. In addition, students were asked to record any anecdotes relating to self-appraisal of changes on one's own attitudes and behaviours. Even after the lesson, students keep recording those changes on letters to herself. Role-playing and simulation game programme was applied to a case of 'NIMBY', in which students should decide where to located a refuse dumping ground. For this kind of programme to e successful, concepts and words used in the script should be appropriate for students' intellectual levels, and students should by adequately introduced into the objective and the procedures of the lessons. Written questionnaire was used to assess individual students' attitudes after the lesson, but in order to acquire information on the changes of students' attitudes and skills, pre-test may have to be made. Doing inquiry programme, in which advantages in which students actually investigated the environmental influence of the areas where school os located, had advantages in developing students' ability to study the environmental problems and to present the results of their studies. For this programme to be more efficient, areas of investigation should be clearly divided and alloted to each group so that repetition or overlap in areas of study and presentation be avoided, and complementary wok between groups bee enhanced. In this programme, teacher assessed students' knowledge and attitudes on the basis of reports prepared by each group. However, there were found some difficults in assessing students' attitudes and behaviours solely on the grounds of written report. Perhaps, using a scaled checklist assessing students' attitudes while their presentation could help to relieve the difficulties.
