The study used 24 clothing salespersons who had turnover experiences. It used a qualitative research method, through which the following turnover motives were found. The turnover motives can be classified into two: voluntary and non-voluntary. The voluntary turnover motives include marriage, career change, wages, human relationship, family moving, study abroad, health problems, and so forth. This study finds that some salespersons made a turnover because they did not like the products and brand or they preferred another products and brand. This kind of turnover is unique in the field of clothing sales and seldom found in the motives of salesperson turnover in other fields. The non-voluntary turnover motives are caused by non-personal, circumstantial factors which include the bankruptcy of companies due to economic depression, withdrawal of salesroom from department stores due to low sales, etc. This means that the creation, rise, and fall of fashion brands are closely related to frequent turnover of clothing sale associates. As there are various motives for the salesperson turnover, so it is necessary for the clothing industry to examine and investigate the trends of its salespersons and establish an appropriate policy to cope with the matter.
Many empiric research findings have supported that the characteristics and strength of Organization Culture(OC) is closely related with organizational performance(absenteeism, job satisfaction, cohesiveness and turnover etc.). The first purpose of this study is to review the relationship between OC and turnover as a performance factor, and the second and primary purpose is to test the moderating effects of personal factors(sex, educational career, rank, occupation, marital status, job switching, age, company tenure and job tenure) between OC and turnover. For the analytical purpose of this article, OC type is categorized as Maintainable Culture(MC), Affiliation Culture(AC), Progressive Culture(PC) and Rational Culture(RC) based on Quinn(1985). The empirical results are as followings: Moderating effects are found in sex(with MC and RC), educational career(with MC, PC and RC), job switching(with MC and RC).
This study has the purpose to examine the effects of hygiene factor(job environment factor) and motivation factor(job motivation factor) of seamen on satisfaction, turnover intention and organizational commitment. To that end, with the scope of study subjects limited to coastal waters seamen, positive analysis was done through literature study and questionnaire analysis, and focus was given to the prospect of acquiring seamen by change of outside environment. Results of analyzing the factors affecting coastal waters seamen satisfaction, turnover intention and organizational commitment were as follows. First, the factors that affect satisfaction significantly are personal relationship and willingness to participate. Second, the factor that affects turnover intention significantly is employment stability. Third, the factors that affect organizational commitment significantly are personal relationship and willingness to participate.
The present study examined the causal relationships among nurses' job environment /job characteristics(work overload, lack of autonomy, professional role conflict, interpersonal relationships), maturity, job stress, job satisfaction and turnover intention by constructing and testing a theoretial framework. Based on Katz and Kahn's (1978) theory of organizational open system and Kahn, Wolfe, Quinn, and Snoek's (1964) theory of stress, nurses' turnover intention, job satisfaction and job stress were conceived of as outcomes of the interplay between personal characteristics and work environment. Personal aspects associated with outcome variables included professional knowlege and skill, and maturity(challenge, commitment, control, responsibility). The work environment factors involved work overload, lack of autonomy, professional role conflict, and interpersonal relationships (social support). Three university hospitals located in Seoul were selected to participate. The total sample of 443 registered nurses represents a response rate of 96 percent. Linear structural relationships (LISREL) technique was used to test the fit of the proposed conceptual model to the data and to examine the causal relationships among variables. The result showed that both the proposed model and the modified model fit the data excellently, revealing considerable explanatinal power for job stress and job satisfaction. The explanatory power of turnover intention was relatively lower than those of stress and satisfaction. In predicting nurses' stress, satisfaction and turnover intention, the findings of this study clearly demonstrated that professional role conflict might be the most important variable of the all the environmental variables and personal characteristics. The results were dis-cussed, including directions for the future research and practical implications drawn from the research were suggested.
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to identify relationships between turnover intention and variable factors among dental hygienists. Methods : Each factor of validity and reliability were investigated using factor analysis and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$. The hypothesis of the data was proven and analyzed using the pearson correlation, regression analysis, and analysis of variance (ANOVA). Results : The independent variables were based on self-efficacy, the dependent variables were based on job satisfaction. The results of the regression analysis were that self-efficacy is as high as job satisfaction. Independent variables based on self-efficacy and job satisfaction. The dependent variable is organizational commitment multiple regression analysis was used. The results showed that self-efficacy and job satisfaction are as high as organizational commitment. Independent variables based on organizational commitment. The dependent variable is the turnover-intention. Simple regression analysis showed that organizational commitment is as low as turnover-intention. Self-efficacy, job satisfaction and organizational commitment are different depending on individual traits and personal characteristics. Self-efficacy has been shown to have a positive relationship with job experiences, public work and turnover intention. Organizational commitment is also related with job experiences. However, there was no significant difference between job satisfaction, turnover intention and personal characteristics. Conclusions : According to the factor analysis of turnover intention, self-efficacy, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention were correlated to each other. Self-efficacy, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment has a negative association with turnover intention.
Purpose: The purpose of the study is to investigate the influencing factors of turnover intention in hospital paramedics. The factors included the job condition, job stress, and turnover intention. Methods: The subjects were 200 paramedics in hospital. Data were analyzed using frequency, t-test or one way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis with SPSS WIN 20.0 program. Results: Job stress was 3.59 points; job condition, 2.96 points; turnover intention 3.64 points. When the job stress was high, the satisfaction with job condition was very low and the turnover intention increased. When the job satisfaction was high, turnover intention decreased. factors affecting the turnover intention were annual income, turnover frequency, workload, and working department, role conflict, and personal relationship. Conclusion: It is necessary to establish the job description of paramedics and improve the working condition in the hospitals.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to review articles, thesis and dissertation on turnover intention of hospital nurses in order to identify overall trends in turnover intention of nurses and suggest strategies for reducing turnover intention. Method: Thirty research papers on turnover intention of nurses were reviewed. Result: These papers were journal articles and thesis regarding nurses who worked in general wards, intensive nursing units, and emergency rooms in hospital. The tools used to measure turnover intention were Lawler (1983), Mobley (1982), and Lee (1995), and others. Most of tools were composed of 1-11 items, with 4-7 point Likert scales. Reported reliability was .55 to .91. The mean score for turnover intention was between 2.40 and 3.85. The important results revealed that job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and stress affected turnover intention of hospital nurses. Conclusion: The findings from this review indicate that to reduce turnover intention for hospital nurses, a nurse manager should increase job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and reduce stress by developing a good culture and work climate. Moreover it is necessary to assess stress and job satisfaction of nurses, and to manage nurses' welfare, including night duty policy, salary, and career ladder.

This study seeks to find the factors associated with social workers' turnover intention and show us how to manage turnovers by looking for some rules affecting turnover intentions. Our investigation surveying 331 social workers reveals that social workers' turnover intentions are affected by organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and burnout. Our pattern analyses using fuzzy ID3 show that the higher their commitment, the higher their job satisfaction stemming from promotion opportunities, rewards, and personal relations with peers and bosses. In addition, turnover intentions decreases (even if burnouts--the job-related stress--are very serious) when organizational commitment increases. We come to understand that organizational commitment could be a more important variable than job satisfaction and burnouts. Such results suggest that it would be necessary to consider how to improve social workers' organization-wide commitment rather than satisfaction and burnout related to jobs and environments.

The purpose of this paper is to investigate the influence of ethical leadership in determining the organizations' individual-type ethical climate (self-interest, friendship, and personal morality ethical climate) in reducing employee turnover intention. It seeks to identify the role of individual-type climate in mediating the association between ethical leadership and employee turnover intention. Moreover, the moderation effect of emotional exhaustion among employees on the relationship between ethical leadership and turnover intention has been researched to establish the ethical degree of leadership. Using a sample of 260 questionnaires from employees working full-time in the banking sector, the results were analyzed in PLS-SEM. The results of the social exchange theory indicated that ethical leadership is vital in shaping the workplace's individual-type ethical climate and reducing employees' turnover intention. The findings demonstrate that the relationship between ethical leadership and turnover intention is mediated by an individual-type ethical climate, which means that employees in a positive ethical climate do not wish to leave immediately. Furthermore, emotional exhaustion was found to moderate the association between ethical leadership and employees' turnover intention under high emotional exhaustion, where low ethical leadership is experienced, reporting higher levels of turnover intention.
