  • The demand of smart cars is increasing rapidly. International stand organize such as 3GPP and 5GAA are proposing standard communication protocvols for connected-car, and automotive network infrastructure. But Smart car network have many security threats and more dangerous against the existed wire communication network. Typically, peripheral devices of a smart car may disguise their identity and steal location information and personal information about the vehicle. In addition, the infrastructure elements around smart cars can conspire and put driving cars in danger, threatening lives. This is a very serious security threat. Therefore, in order to solve these problems, we proposed a system that is secure from collusion and tampering attacks using attribute-based authorize delegation method and threshold encryption algorithms. We have demonstrated using a semantic safety model that the proposed system can be safe from collusion attack.

  • Decentralized Identity is based on the concept of self-sovereign identity, in which holders manage and provide their own credentials. However, a procedure is required to obtain credentials from issuers, and there is a risk of mess personal information leaking due to negligence of the issuers. In this paper, we propose a peer decentralized identity system based on Peer DID technology that allows only participants to verify their identity in 1:1 or 1:N small groups by matching the holder with the issuer. It is directly connected to a mobile device using short-range wireless communications such as bluetooth, and the holders create and provide their own credentials in person to the other party, thus fully realizing the self-sovereignty identity. The proposed system can simplify the identification process, improve security and privacy, and reduce costs. Furthermore, an extended architecture is possible to connect the proposed system and the distributed ledger to identify users in other domains. In the future, based on various technologies, it is also necessary to expand research on identity systems that can be utilized for human-to-thing and things-to-things authentication.

  • Unlike general cameras, a high-speed camera capable of capturing a large number of frames per second can enable the advancement of some image processing technologies that have been limited so far. This paper proposes a method of removing undesirable noise from an high-speed input color image, and then detecting a human face from the noise-free image. In this paper, noise pixels included in the ultrafast input image are first removed by applying a bidirectional filter. Then, using RetinaFace, a region representing the person's personal information is robustly detected from the image where noise was removed. The experimental results show that the described algorithm removes noise from the input image and then robustly detects a human face using the generated model. The model-based face-detection method presented in this paper is expected to be used as basic technology for many practical application fields related to image processing and pattern recognition, such as indoor and outdoor building monitoring, door opening and closing management, and mobile biometric authentication.

  • In recent years, biometric authentication has been used for various applications. Since biometric features are unchangeable and cannot be revoked unlike other personal information, there is increasing concern about leakage of biometric information. Recently, Jin et al. proposed a new cancelable biometric scheme, called "Index-of-Max" (IoM) to protect fingerprint template. The authors presented two realizations, namely, Gaussian random projection-based and uniformly random permutation-based hashing schemes. They also showed that their schemes can provide high accuracy, guarantee the security against recently presented privacy attacks, and satisfy some criteria of cancelable biometrics. However, the authors did not provide experimental results for other biometric features (e.g. finger-vein, iris). In this paper, we present the results of applying Jin et al.'s scheme to iris data. To do this, we propose a new method for processing iris data into a suitable form applicable to the Jin et al.'s scheme. Our experimental results show that it can guarantee favorable accuracy performance compared to the previous schemes. We also show that our scheme satisfies cancelable biometrics criteria and robustness to security and privacy attacks demonstrated in the Jin et al.'s work.

  • In modern times, many IoT products are being used as all things and devices are connected to the Internet and IoT products become easily accessible through the network. For the convenience of users, IoT products can be remotely operated automatically without manual operation. Various research and development are underway to improve the convenience of users by using IoT products. However, since only the convenience of the users is pursued, in terms of security, there is a serious problem that exposes the user's personal information. This paper has proposed a method to apply $moir{\acute{e}}$ technology to IoT products in order to improve the performance of security, and a method to increase the safety of IoT products using user face authentication based on shadow $moir{\acute{e}}$ as a $moir{\acute{e}}$ phenomenon method, and the projection $moir{\acute{e}}$. When comparing the existing IoT products and IoT products applied with $moir{\acute{e}}$ technology, IoT products applied with $moir{\acute{e}}$ technology are safer in terms of security.

  • With the recent commercialization of the next generation of wireless 5G in everyday life, many changes have been made to organizations, industries and businesses of various sizes in various fields. However, although the improved speed and latency of 5G has improved, improvements in encryption, authentication and privacy are still required. In this paper, multiple groups of information management techniques are proposed to efficiently protect users' privacy in the heterogeneous environment of 5G. The proposed technique aims to allow distributed management of users' privacy links by clouding the privacy information generated by different heterogeneous devices to efficiently interface with different groups. Suggestion techniques process user-specific privacy information independently in a virtual space so that users can periodically synchronize their privacy information.

  • Since 2010, vehicle black boxes have become popular with many people, if there is no record of the vehicle accident scene, or if the offender deliberately deletes the image data, the victim succeeds. The biggest advantage of blockchain is that it is impossible to modify and delete data by data distribution storage. The biggest disadvantage is that sensitive data is also distributed. In this paper, we propose a blockchain method for the black box by using the advantage of shared block data and we intend to solve the problem of personal information leakage which is a disadvantage of blockchain by storing sensitive information stored in a blockchain in a private server by LINK blockchain with a private server. We also attached code(Github) and demonstration video(Youtube) linking LINK blockchain with the private server in this paper.

  • A new type of malware that extracts personal and account data over an extended period of time and that apparently is resistant to detection by vaccines has been identified. Generally, a malware is installed on a computer through network-to-network connections by utilizing Web vulnerabilities that contain injection, XSS, broken authentication and session management, or insecure direct-object references, among others. After the malware executes registration of an arbitrary service and an arbitrary process on a computer, it then periodically communicates the collected confidential information to a hacker. This paper is a systematic approach to analyzing a new type of malware called "winweng," a kind of worm that frequently made appearances during the first half of 2011. The research describes how the malware came to be in circulation, how it infects computers, how its operations expose its existence and suggests improvements in responses and countermeasures. Keywords: Malware, Worm, Winweng, SNORT.

  • With the development of IoT technology, various cloud computing-based services such as smart cars, smart healthcare, smart homes, and smart farms are expanding. With the advent of a new environment, various problems continue to occur, such as the possibility of exposure of important information such as personal information or company secrets, financial damage cases due to hacking, and human casualties due to malicious attack techniques. In this paper, we propose a message communication protocol for smart home-based secure communication and user data protection. As a detailed process, secure device registration, message authentication protocol, and renewal protocol were newly designed in the smart home environment. By referring to the security requirements related to the smart home service, the stability of the representative attack technique was verified, and as a result of performing a comparative analysis of the performance, the efficiency of about 50% in the communication aspect and 25% in the signature verification aspect was confirmed.
