  • Intelligence is thought to be related to interaction rather than a deep but passive thinking. Interactive tangible media "iT_Media" is proposed to explore these issues. Personal robotics is a major area to investigate these ideas. A new design methodology for personal and emotional robotics is proposed. Sciences of the artificial and intelligence have been investigated. A short history of artificial intelligence is presented in terms of logic, heuristic, and mobility; a science of intelligence is presented in terms of imitation and understanding; intelligence issues for robotics and intelligence measures are described. A design methodology for personal robots based on science of emotion is investigated. We investigate three different aspects of design: visceral, behavioral, reflective. We also discuss affect and emotion in robots, robots that sense emotion, robots that induce emotion in people, and implications and ethical issues of emotional robots. Personal robotics for the elderly seems to be a major area in which to explore these ideas.

  • This paper proposes a framework for personal location based services with personal life content, for example diaries, schedules and to-do lists. A lot of Internet users are recording their personal experiences and knowledge as text and other digital media on the network. Our proposed tool provides users with an environment to store personal records with related place attributes, and to retrieve these personal records at the right place. There are two applications on this tool, a place-enhanced blog and a LBS client on a mobile phone. The place enhanced blog provides users with blog interfaces for inputting place information. The place rem inder is a browser for spatial data on the place enhanced blog. Users can generate place information by writing personal records on their blog. Furthermore, using the LBS client, other users can retrieve personal records at the appropriate spots.

  • Although personal media have become a giant industry, there is a lack of understanding of personal media creators. Therefore, this study aims to clarify factors influencing personal media creators' choice of platform. According to the analysis, there is a significant difference between the factors considered by YouTube, AfreecaTV, and Twitch creators. Moreover, the moderating effect of creators' main genre and broadcasting type were also found to be partially significant. It was found that both creators who share the motive of vividness and communication as their main genre and creators who focus on recording and broadcasting with career development motivation prefer YouTube.

  • This study examined the overall relationship between information privacy concern, need for uniqueness (NFU), and disclosure behavior to explain the personal factors that drive data-sharing on Facebook. The results of an online survey conducted with 222 Facebook users show that among diverse data that social media users disclose online, four distinct factors are identified: basic personal data, private data, personal opinions, and personal photos. In general, there is a negative relationship between privacy concern and a positive relationship between the NFU and the willingness to self-disclose information. Overall, the NFU was a better predictor of willingness to disclose information than privacy concern, gender, or age. While privacy concern has been identified as an influential factor when users evaluate social networking sites, the findings of this study contribute to the literature by demonstrating that an individual's need to manifest individualization on social media overrides privacy concerns.

Means, standard deviation, frequency, T-test, one-way ANOVA, and Duncan's multiple range test were applied for the analyses of data. The result of hyporthesis 1 showed that male college student utilize personal and non-personal sources of reference indiscriminately. The result of hypothesis 2 showed that male college students consult the socially high-proximal group such as a girl friend(a lover) and mother most actively. • This study is to examine the effects of personal media influencer's source credibility (attractiveness, trustworthiness, expertise) and content authenticity on brand authenticity and product purchase intention. An online survey was conducted, on which the respondents were asked to watch the embedded contents of the influencer provided on YouTube before answering the questionnaire. The results of the regression analysis showed that both influencer expertise and content authenticity had a positive effect on brand authenticity. Moreover, brand authenticity had a positive effect on purchase intention and had a mediating effect between purchase intention and content authenticity. The findings are meaningful in that they not only analyze empirical advertising effects of personal media and media contents but also expand the scope of research on authenticity. This study also provides strategic implications for personal media influencers and companies which want to collaborate with influencers.

  • As the utilization value of personal information increases, discussions on how to provide personal information are active, but information required by institutions to utilize personal information is being exposed more than necessary. Therefore, personal privacy protection is essential to overcome the problems and limitations of personal information protection. In this study, a decentralized identity information management model that overcomes the problems and limitations of the centralized identity management method of personal information and manages and selectively provides personal information by the information owner himself and demonstrates the excellence of personal information by implementing the Smart Personal Information Provision System (SPIPS) in the PBFT consensus algorithm through experiments.

  • The primary purpose of this study is to identify the determinants of the users' satisfaction and commitment in personal media. For these purposes, we developed a research model based on the literature reviews of personal media, perceived risk and interactivity, satisfaction, and commitment. This study has identified four dimensions in the concept of perceived risk, such as privacy risk, social risk, time loss risk, and economic risk, and three dimensions in the concept of perceived interactivity, such as active control, two-way communication, and responsiveness. In survey, data were collected from 428 male and female who have an experience in personal media. Data was analyzed factor analysis, reliability analysis, measurement model analysis, and structural model analysis by utilizing SPSS 15.0 and AMOS 5.0 program. Analysis results of research model indicate the following. Firstly, privacy risk, active control, two-way communication, and responsiveness are significantly related satisfaction. Secondly, privacy risk, time loss risk, economic risk, active control, and two-way communication are significantly related commitment. Thirdly, users' satisfaction has positive relationship with commitment in personal media. Based on these results, theoretical implications for relevant researchers and managerial implications for personal media vitalization and marketing strategy are discussed. Finally, limitations for this study and further research issues are suggested.

  • This study empirically analyzed the factors affecting satisfaction and consistent use of 'home training' on personal media service YouTube based on Post-Acceptable Model. To this purpose, data were collected from adult men and women with personal media service using experience. As for data analysis, frequency analysis, correlation analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis and path analysis were performed by using SPSS 21.0 and AMOS 21.0. The results of the study were as followed. First, using motivation of YouTube home training had a positive effect on usefulness. Second, health literacy had a positive effect on usefulness. Third, it was found that the expectation confirmation of the home training on personal media service positively influenced usefulness. Forth, expectation confirmation of the home training on personal media service had a positive effect on satisfaction. Fifth, usefulness had a positive effect on satisfaction. Sixth, usefulness had no significant effect on consistent use intention. Seventh, satisfaction had a positive effect on consistent use intention. Behavioral analysis with collective demographic factors and diverse analysis considering the differentiation of the personal media service are suggested for further research.
