The Assessment Method for the Strategic Potential of Personnel with the Example of JTI Kazakhstan

  • Purpose - The purpose of this article is to review the key features and benefits with different methods which is suitable for a particular organization (in this article JTI Kazakhstan) as well as for assessing the capacity of a staff and identification. Research design, data and methodology - Current approaches were used to assess a staff capacity and classify groups. By comparing each other and marked different application methods, this article developed the method for the employment of personal potential and control management process. Results - Through this analysis, assessing labor capacity functioned as an evaluation and assessment for employee competence. Examples suggested practical recommendations for assessing employees' labor potential. Conclusions - It is important not just to bring together several techniques but adapt the conditions with existing organization with the professionalism and experience of specialists in managing the evaluation process. In terms of the implementation of this task, it is necessary to have knowledge in the field of psychology as well as business processes, objectives, and specificities of companies including the relevant personal qualities.

건설현장의 안전 분위기와 작업자 안전행동에 관한 실증적 연구 (A Study on the Safety Climate and Worker's Safe Work Behavior in Construction Site)

  • In recent years, the most safety studies have been focused on identifying the relationship between safety climate and safe work behavior in accordance with the awareness that prime causes of accidents are organizational, managerial, and human factors rather than pure technical failures across the world. This study focused empirical research aimed at finding out the safety climate factors and examining the relationships of the safety climate and safe work behavior in construction site in Korea, too. A 10 numbers of safety climate factors were adapted from the Mohamed's study(2002) and tested using PLS-GRAPH 3.0 expecting same results as Mohamed' study. And then the relationship between safety climate and safe work behavior was examined. Only two safety climate factors-personal risk appreciation and worker's safety competence-were found and a strong positive relationship between safety climate and safe work behavior was identified in this study. Discussed in details about the results and implications and suggested further studies.

한국판 영적간호역량 측정도구의 타당도와 신뢰도 (Validity and Reliability of Korean Version of the Spiritual Care Competence Scale)

  • Purpose: The aim of this study was to examine the validity and reliability of the Korean Version of the Spiritual Care Competence Scale (K-SCCS). Methods: A cross-sectional study design was used. The K-SCCS consisted of 26 questions to measure spiritual care competence of nurses. Participants, 228 nurses who had more than 3 years'experience as a nurse, completed the survey. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to examine the construct validity and correlations of K-SCCS and spiritual well-being (SWB) were used to examine the criterion validity of K-SCCS. Cronbach's alpha was used to test internal consistency. Results: The construct and the criterion-related validity of K-SCCS were supported as measures of spiritual care competence. Cronbach's alpha was .95. Factor loadings of the 26 questions ranged from .60 to .96. Construct validity of K-SCCS was verified by confirmatory factor analysis (RMSEA=.08, CFI=.90, NFI=.85). Criterion validity compared to the SWB showed significant correlation (r=.44, p<.001). Conclusion: The findings suggest that K-SCCS serves as an appropriate measure of spiritual care competence with validity and reliability. However, further study is needed to retest the verification of the factor analysis related to factor 2 (professionalisation and improving the quality of spiritual care) and factor 3 (personal support and patient counseling). Therefore, we recommend using the total score without distinguishing subscales.

  • Analyzing the psychological and pedagogical literature, we showed the interest of researchers in the problem posed. The concept of competence is considered, which is interpreted as giving the key to solving a wide range of educational and life tasks. Research competence implies the ability to cooperate, enter into contacts, readiness for changes, for self-determination and is an integral quality of the individual, expressed in the readiness and ability to independently search for solutions to new problems and creative transformation of reality based on a set of personal and meaningful knowledge, skills, methods of activity and value attitudes.The article offers conditions that certify the improvement of forms and methods of training students in the formation of research competence of future specialists. The use of innovative technologies contributes to improving the level of training of future specialists: students are better prepared for classes, take an active part in the assimilation of program material in laboratory classes. It is noted that this creates a subject-subject relationship between the student and the teacher, and changes the attitude of students to classes. In the process of such organization of educational activities, students are convinced of the need for knowledge and its effectiveness, learn to compare, generalize, classify, establish cause-and-effect relationships, express opinions, defend their point of view, they ensure success in their studies, and develop research competence. It is proved that in order to apply the latest technologies, the teacher himself must know them well, that is, constantly improve himself, master new methods, techniques, ideas, which will help him create new pedagogical technologies and implement them in the educational process.

Relationships among CEO Image, Corporate Image and Employment Brand Value in Fashion Industry

  • The CEO and the Corporate Image is considered very important in the aspect of marketing. The fact that CEO image itself influences the company or value of the product directly and indirectly has been verified through many cases. Recently, the differentiation of products and services between companies became difficult because the disparity in technique between companies retrenched. As a result, the rate of people who decide to purchase or invest their money based on the corporate image or reputation has been increased. Also in the knowledge society like today, the talented employees are the company's customer and the company's necessity for managing those brains of marketing perspective on how to satisfy and attract the customers is being embossed. The Fashion industry is one of the most value-added industry and in those value-added businesses, the most important factor is the human resources' knowledge power. However the study of the relationships among the CEO image, the corporate image and employment brand value in fashion industry has not been carried out yet. This research considers that dynamic relationship exists among the CEO image, corporate image and employment brand value that affects a company's main goal of pursuing benefits and intends to investigate the relationships of the three concepts. The specific purposes of this study were, 1) to analyze the impact of CEO image on a corporate image, 2) to analyze the impact of corporate image on employment brand value, 3) to analyze the impact of CEO image on employment brand value, 4) to analyze whether corporate image plays a mediating role in the relationship between CEO image and employment brand value or not. A survey design with a structured questionnaire was employed for this research. A convenience sample of 398 subjects was selected from two groups, which are university students majoring in fashion and practitioners working in fashion industry. For the data analysis, descriptive statistic (i.e., frequency, percentage), factor analysis, and multiple regression analysis were used by utilizing SPSS 12.0 for Windows program. The results for this research are as follows, first, the study of the impact of CEO image (i.e., Managerial Competence, Reliability/Leadership, Personal Attractiveness) on corporate image (i.e., Product Image, Corporate Social Responsibility Image, Corporate Cultural Image) brought conclusion that the CEO image generally affected the corporate image in fashion industry. Managerial Competence and Reliability/Leadership affected Product Image, Corporate Social Responsibility Image and Corporate Cultural Image. However, while CEO's Personal Attractiveness affected Product Image and Corporate Social Responsibility Image, it did not affect Corporate Cultural Image. Second, the study of the impact of corporate image on employment brand value brought conclusion that corporate image (i.e., Product Image, Corporate Social Responsibility Image, Corporate Cultural Image) affected employment brand value. Corporate Cultural Image affected employment brand value the most and then the Corporate Social Responsibility Image and Product Image. Third, the study of the impact of CEO image on employment brand value brought conclusion that CEO image (i.e., Managerial Competence, Reliability/Leadership, Personal Attractiveness) affected the employment brand value. CEO's Reliability/Leadership affected the employment brand value the most and then CEO's Personal Attractiveness and CEO's Managerial Competence. Forth, the study examined whether corporate image plays a mediating role in relationship of CEO image and employment brand value and concluded that it does. Corporate image played a full mediating role between CEO's Managerial Competence and employment brand value while it played a partial mediating role between CEO's Reliability/Leadership and CEO's Personal Attractiveness. This study is meaningful in a sense that it examines the relationship among the CEO image, corporate image and employment brand value which has not been carried out yet in fashion industry. It will ultimately contribute to the success of a fashion company by providing useful information of establishing strategies for managing proper the CEO and the corporate image to the fashion company and operating the talented employees.

사회복지시설 종사자의 융합적 직무역량강화가 삶의 질에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Social Workers' Convergent Job Competence Enhancement Working in a Social Welfare Facility on Quality of Life)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 사회복지시설종사자의 융합적 직무역량강화가 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는지를 검증하는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 서울시 20개, 경기지역 20개 사회복지시설에 근무하는 사회복지종사자들을 대상으로 설문을 하였고, 회수된 188부를 연구에 사용하였다. 표본추출법은 비확률표집법에서 임의표집법을 활용하였다. 연구결과, 사회복지종사자의 역량강화정도와 삶의 질간의 관계에서 살펴보면 개인역량과 만족감, 환경역량과 불만족감, 관계역량과 만족감에서만 정적인 상관이 있었고, 나머지영역에서는 상관이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 사회복지종사자의 개인역량, 환경역량이 불만족감에 정(+)적인 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 관계역량이 불만족감에 부(-)적인 역할을 하는 것을 볼 수 있다. 개인역량정도, 이직하고자 하는 마음을 통제하는 역량정도, 관계역량이 만족감에 정(+)적인 역할을 하는 것을 볼 수 있다. 따라서 사회복지종사자의 삶의 질을 향상시키기 위해서는 사회 복지종사자들을 대상으로 직무역량강화 교육프로그램을 실행할 때에 긍정적인 효과가 있을 것으로 기대한다.

중소IT기업 N사 영업사원의 핵심역량모델 개발 (Developing a Competence Model for Salespeople in a Small-medium Size IT Firm N)

  • 급변하는 경영환경 속에서 지속가능한 기업이 되기 위한 우수인재의 확보 및 개발이 점차 중요해지고 있다. 이를 위해 기업은 자신의 기업에 필요한 인재상을 체계적으로 반영한 역량을 정의하고 활용하는 것이 필요하다. 역량이란 우수한 업무수행자가 보유하고 있는 독특하고 고유한 행동으로 지식, 기술, 가치, 기타 개인적 특성들이 직무수행에서 통합되어 행동으로 나타난 것이며, 이를 체계화 하는 과정을 역량 모델링이라 한다. 본 연구에서는 특히 경쟁이 치열하고 끊임없이 변화를 요구받는 중소 IT기업을 대상으로 역량모델링을 수행하고 맞춤형 역량모델을 개발하여 체계적인 인적자원의 관리 및 육성방안을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 Dubois의 일반모델 덧씌우기 방법을 사용하여 역량모델을 개발하고 도출된 역량모델에 대한 타당도 검증을 위한 설문조사 및 워크숍을 수행하였다. 이를 통해 IT기업 N사의 영업사원에게 요구되는 핵심역량은 총 14개지만 영업의 시기에 따라 프로젝트 사전, 진행중, 사후로 나뉘어 13개, 9개, 6개가 유기적으로 활용된다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통해 개발된 역량모델은 향후 N사의 영업부서직원교육을 위한 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

사립유치원교사의 교사효능감과 의사소통능력이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Private Kindergarten Teacher's Teacher Efficacy and Communication Competence on Job Stress)

  • 본 연구는 사립유치원교사의 교사효능감과 의사소통능력이 직무스트레스에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위해 실시되었다. 경기도의 사립유치원에 재직 중인 161명의 교사를 대상으로 설문지를 통한 조사를 실시하였고, 교사효능감 질문지(신세니, 2001), 의사소통능력 질문지(최일선, 조운주, 2010)와 직무스트레스 질문지(임진형, 2000)를 사용하였다. 결과 처리를 위해 빈도분석, 신뢰도 검증, Pearson의 적률상관분석, 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 사립유치원교사의 개인적 교수효능감은 직무스트레스 전체뿐만 아니라 그 하위요인 모두에 부적 영향을 미쳤으며, 일반적 교수효능감의 경우 개인 관련 스트레스에 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 사립유치원교사의 의사소통능력은 직무스트레스 전체와 하위변인인 원아들과의 활동, 업무관련, 행정적 지원, 대인관련, 경제적 안정, 그리고 개인과 관련된 스트레스에 모두 부적 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구는 사립유치원교사를 대상으로 한 교육과정 내에 교사 효능감을 향상시킬 수 있는 내용과 의사소통능력을 발휘하고 직무스트레스에 대처하는 능동적인 태도를 형성할 수 있는 교과내용을 구성하는데 기초정보를 제공할 수 있다.

일부 치위생과 여학생들의 공감능력 및 의사소통능력과 장애인에 대한 태도와의 연관성 (The relationship between empathic ability, communication competence, and attitudes toward the disabled among female dental hygiene students)

  • Background: To explore the empathic abilities, communication competence, and attitudes toward the disabled, and to identify the relationship between these variables among female dental hygiene students. Methods: A self-administered questionnaire was used to collect data from 190 female students in their second and third year of study at the dental hygiene department of a university located in Gyeongsangnam-do province, South Korea, from September 2-11, 2020. Data were analyzed using descriptive analyses, t-test, analysis of variance, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression using SPSS 20.0. Results: The participants' scores for empathic abilities, communication competence, and attitudes toward the disabled were 3.63, 3.69, and 3.54 points, respectively. A significant positive correlation was observed between empathic abilities and attitudes toward the disabled. Regarding the sub-elements of empathic abilities, the participants' attitudes toward the disabled had a significant positive correlation with the scales measuring their perspective-taking abilities and personal distress (p<.05). A positive correlation (p<.05) was observed between communication competence and attitudes toward the disabled. The students' attitudes toward the disabled were significantly influenced by the scale measuring their perspective-taking abilities (B=.210); those with a higher perspective-taking ability displayed more positive attitudes toward the disabled. Conclusion: Female dental hygiene students showed empathic abilities, which positively influenced their attitudes toward the disabled. Positive attitudes toward the disabled can contribute to improving the quality of medical services.

임상간호사의 감성역량, 학습조직화 및 간호조직문화가 간호업무성과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Emotional Competence, Learning Organization, and Nursing Organization Culture among Nursing Performance of Clinical Nurses)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of emotional competence, learning organization and nursing organizational culture on performance among clinical nurses. Methods : This study was conducted over a six-month period, with 170 nurses from general hospitals with 400 beds in three regions of Korea. Data were gathered from August 25th to September 10th, 2016, using a self-report questionnaire, and analyzed using the IBM SPSS 19.0 program. Results : The significant predictors of nursing performance were self-awareness (${\beta}=.32$), a master's degree or higher (${\beta}=.20$), relationship management (${\beta}=.26$), personal mastery(${\beta}=.23$), and 5~10 years in a clinical career (${\beta}=.16$). These variables explained 47.3% of the variance in nursing performance. Conclusions : To improve nursing performance, interventions that can enhance nurses' emotional competence and the need for program development to enhance their learning organization, as well as related variables, including academic credentials and clinical career, should be considered.
